Well, it's about time Hrimfaxi starts being remade! Three are drawn, but I only have two of its Dew Drop pics up right now; the rest are going to require spell name changes. I should also make mention of a forum extraction script I made for the increasingly popular interactive stories going on there... and also AT:Remix work.

Friday, May 14th, 2004
Lots of forum work, including the designating of moderators besides myself. END accounts may now be linked with Master Accounts, and the viewing page for them now display a member's Trick Shots. There were also quite a few icons added to the forum including a new favorite.

Sunday, May 9th, 2004
For as far as things being ruined are concerned, FtRPG is the worst, and in record speed. I only have it out for a few days when some idiots in the forum decide to turn the whole thing into a spam-fest and post with such rapidity that the formulae reach a breakdown point.
That won't happen again. I have overloaded the give function. Now, instead of starting as part of FtRPG, a potential player must first earn the right to an Adventurer's Token to use class commands.

Sunday, May 2nd, 2004
Okay, Forum: the RPG is finally out, and hopefully, it will not break the forums or anything. Since I added an RPG function to the forums, I figured I should also open a new Role Playing board in case someone ever looks for a challenge, or maybe just to alleviate junk-RPing from the other parts.

Sunday, April 25th, 2004
Despite working copiously on FtRPG, it became obvious that I would not be able to finish it this weekend, so instead, please enjoy the Normal Survival Puzzle for END (and its Null/Omni counterpart). The reason these were not released along with Trick Shots is that I actually had to add some new code to it for low-power shots based on your alignment.

Sunday, April 18th, 2004
More END work, of course, but strangely without any puzzles. This time around, I finally got around to putting in Spirit Type and Aligment changes for Dreamers. Forum: the RPG had another big step taken towards it with a slew of new commands, such as Throw, Catch, Volley, Fabricate, and my favorite, Eat, plus a new, easier-to-use command format and RP console in replies.

Monday, April 12th, 2004
A happy one of existance for Endless Night's Dream is marked today, and by the ability to blutty finally create your own trick shots. Now the game really begins... I had to put in the page to not only edit your shots, but also to qualify them by first defeating a puzzle in a limited time using only your new shot. I also really fixed up the forums for ease of use and a lot of extra friendly text shoved just about everywhere.

Wednesday, April 7th, 2004
Well, I went ahead and pushed M4 through to full wins- and experience-giving battles. That also means that I had to get Brok's Smithy working for it. Also, for no good reason, work began on Arena Terrae, but this time, a JavaScript, single player version, so once it is made, it is guaranteed never to disappear like the previous incarnations.

Wednesday, March 31st, 2004
'Tis another requisite monthly update to my favorite (and apparently everyone else's least) game, Endless Night's Dream, and what an update we have! Not only does the final Dreamer Challenge Puzzle come in for the Big Dreamers, Burst's Challenge, but it also introduces two new types, Null and Omni. That means that there is also a new Survival Mode to capitalize on these new spirits, so check it out!

Friday, March 26th, 2004
Well this was a freakin' productive week. I know text conveys it poorly, so I shall note carefully that the previous comment was ripe with sarcasm. I got another page of Bestiary Warrior up, plus it is actually on a page now instead of just being a loose image, not to mention with its own new Bestiary style sheet layout.

Friday, March 19th, 2004
Okay, one of the reason I even bothered to make M4 has come into fruition -- inactive monsters are now not-so inactive anymore as they may challenge and be challenged! After selecting an opponent to fight (in an M4 Battle), you also get to select which monster of theirs you wish to battle and which of yours you want to fight as well. Also new this week, the first look at Bestiary Warrior.

Friday, March 12th, 2004
I finally managed to get an Ides of March splash page up earlier this week, and I have also improved the BD:M4 AI entry layout. It features several dynamic drop-down lists to make the multiple inputs of M4 fighting easy to handle, plus they have a handy help feature (the little question mark, if you could not figure it out).

Saturday, March 6th, 2004
Well, it took a long time, but the new Battling Dragons battle system based on the old Future system is up and running for sparring. You can try out a Monster Melee & Mayhem Match (or M4 for short) whenever you challenge a member. Only spars are available for it now until I get some more documentation and AI up for it.

Saturday, February 28th, 2004
Well, another huge amount of work was done on the new Battling Dragons: M4. In fact, so much work was done on it that it is not even using the system implemented by the tournaments. In the mean time, check out the new Cyan's Challenge puzzle and Day Five entry in the journal for END.

Saturday, February 21st, 2004
For the final day of the anniversary, more gym stuff, and all new. The Dojo has been made available for gyms, which doubles as vitimans and the parlor. Custom gym messages have also been made available to give each gym even more custom touches. For more of the old, gym badges are required to enter the Maelstrom Gym.

Monday, February 16th, 2004
The R.E. League rediscovered some of its roots today. A new option has been made available for gym leaders to have more than six monsters in their line-up again, yielding six randomly chosen to fight every battle to keep things fresh for rematches. Also in effect today, Rising Faction gyms will only have five monsters fighting in them (unless the challenger has stronger Pokémon). Gym leaders may also create custom-tailored Pokémon to fight in trainer battles and to give away as prizes. All this, plus some general caretaking...

Thursday, February 12th, 2004
Rather disappointing without Adobe, but I finally have an R.E. League splash pic up, and it will remain up well after the anniversary to make up for lost time. I had some other stuff planned, but getting a graphics program to work took up more time than expected. I did, however, revamp the poison system in Battling Dragons so that it effects all targets, and Power Level has been added to END.

Friday, February 6th, 2004
Well, a bit of a piddle update, but members have been pushing for it a while now. A Name Rater / Changer now exists in the R.E. League. Gym leaders may purchase them for their towns and even earn a profit on them. I have also improved the town creation interface for gym leaders.

Friday, January 30th, 2004
Make the gym leaders happy, and they will make the trainers happy, right? That is the logic behind increasing all gym leaders' battle allowance by five -- for both wild and trainer -- as well as adding the gym extra Shelf Space, which increases shop capacity, and abolishing the cost of adding Flags.
In the forums, advancement on the virtual item system was made with trees that can be planted inside of posts that bear virtual items on them. It might not seem like much, but 'tis a great step toward future forum fun.

Friday, January 23rd, 2004
To kick of the R.E. League Anniversary, it joins the new Help File format, so now all games use the same sort of layout. I also wanted to do some work on the walkaround, so I did a little something by adding the ferry motor, allowing easy access to Maelstrom Island.

Sunday, January 18th, 2004
Hopefully, no one can complain now. I have compiled a larger, better Battling Dragons Help File which good detail on the RPG and tournament system. The original volume has been expanded several times over, and it is now navigated by frames, just like for END. This is all in an attempt to make every Help File have the same format.

Tuesday, January 13th, 2004
All right, I have had my new computer set up in my new residence for about two days now, so I have not had much time to update; mostly I have been trying to get last week's auto-update failure fixed. This week, we see the addition of four new relics to Battling Dragons: Brok's Smithy, the Aegis, Berserk, and the Emerald Scepter.

Tuesday, January 6th, 2004
Well, I tried making an auto-update script to make this update go through while I was gone... and I failed, so things were a little delayed this week due to me moving without a computer. I have established the END member search and password retrieval scripts as well as added the fiftieth monster to the bestiary -- none other than the Unicorn!

Tuesday, December 30th, 2003
I put up a combination Christmas/New Years splash page picture which is more offensive than the last one. For END, I put up the Vulpine Dreamer's Challenge as well as the journal entries for Day Four and the Sixth Prologue.

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2003
Well this is a bit strange. Shortly after the last update, the new server for AT went dead -- in record time. To compensate, please accept this update of stock avatars to Arena Terrae, the Four and Candystripe Dreamers, as well as Sanguine's Challenge puzzle (plus some good ol' journal entries -- Day Three and the fifth Prologue).

Friday, December 19th, 2003
There is something I have wanted to do for a while, and that is bring Arena Terrae back; it has been gone for over a year! Well, a decent host sprung up, and I decided to change it to a grid-based system instead of pixelated. There new server is not without its problems, however....

Friday, December 12th, 2003
The Twelve Days of Christmas contest script was made today. With it, I can start up a contest every year around this time to give out prizes for no other reason than holiday spirit! It is a contest in the respect that only so many items are given out a day, and it is first come, first served.

Friday, December 5th, 2003
On Tuesday, this site reached its hundred-thousandth hit! A splash page was made to commemorate the occasion and was uploaded promptly. The update was delayed since I was also trying to get up a new END puzzle and two more journal entries, one for Day Two and one for the fourth Prologue entry. The puzzle is Aurora's Challenge, which gets high scores from completing it quickly, so high scores are actually low.

Saturday, November 29th, 2003
Sure, I can draw some pics for END, get stuff laid out for a new splash page, but I am home for the break! I instead added the remaining twelve TMs to the Land Across the Sea edition of the R.E. League, thus finishing all RBY content.

Saturday, November 22nd, 2003
I did some work on the new BD battle script and RPG. I also finally have the Endless Night's Dream journal started for real with an prologue. Finally, Battling Dragons tournaments now keep track of recently ended tournaments on a page so that you do not have to sort through the enormous list of every past tourney.

Saturday, November 15th, 2003
Well, this whole week was spent making a new battle script for Battling Dragons. This new one will include a variety of new capabilities include terrains, battle stances, weather, skills, and techniques for creatures. It is entirely written and error-free, but will still require testing. So, I added an underground lair to the BD RPG Beta Test.

Saturday, November 8th, 2003
Hey, I got a picture of the Burst Dreamer up, although I have very little use for him right now. So, I became rather busy getting the High Score boards up for Endless Night's Dream as well as implementing an account viewing function. I also heavily modified the existing scripts for non-member handling.

Saturday, November 1st, 2003
I have implemented a new system for the BD RPG which uses multiple text files rather than just one large file, resulting in no visible effect but allowing work on it to resume. Other than that, there have been coding fixes, including start-of-battle Relic messages plus special relics for Hallowe'en and Thanksgiving tourneys.

Saturday, October 25th, 2003
No skimping this week. I have a nice Hallowe'en splash page and top bar image this year. I have not had either for two years now. I have also realized that I never even linked to the Help file for END from last week, so I am fixing that as well as adding Avenge The Dreamer in a puzzle... which was also supposed to be put up last week.
Bestiary Update: Gargouille, Alphyn (New Picture)

Sunday, October 19th, 2003
Wow, this has been a rough week -- so rough that I did not even realize the flaw in the date of the last update. Apparently, it was made in the future. Anywho, more stuff for END including a tutorial featuring Sanguine or Cyan Dreamer, extended help, and the entire log-in feature.

Sunday, October 12th, 2003
Every time I have wanted END to be released, every single thing that can go wrong does. Well, I am sick and tired of it. I am not letting this game which I have had done for months lie dormant any longer. Endless Night's Dream is released this day. You can sign-up and get your High Score for the few puzzles that currently exist. That is really just about it for now, but some of the most important aspects of the game.

Wednesday, October 8th, 2003
By popular demand (plus promising and not doing it for months), the Music page has been overhauled not only to include every MIDI currently on this site, but also to hold its contents on different pages for each seperate category of MIDI. More work on the Dream On project, too, but this time, is some finalizing coding steps.
Bestiary Update: Fenris

Friday, October 3rd, 2003
More work has been done on END; I had to develop a system to keep players logged in without using cookies (lousy P3P). In actual development news, the elders forum has been opened up to more members beyond the first twenty -- and more can be added. Also a new contest has been added, challenging all artist to make a new BD familiar.
Bestiary Update: Moin, Skinfaxi (New Picture)

Friday, September 26th, 2003
I have moved the tournaments to their own HTML page and added an e-mail notification system of new tourneys for members. Tournament standings are also now a sorting option on the normal rankings page. I have begun to make Endless Night's Dream pages, too, and have done extensive artwork planning.
Bestiary Update: Chimera, Hippocampus (New Picture)

Friday, September 19th, 2003
I have finally added some more relics to Battling Dragons, and this time more battle-oriented. They also have their own page and listing wherever you would find account data. I have also seperated creature submital into its own page along with a system to keep track of which members want to make which monsters.
Bestiary Update: Sea Pig

Friday, September 12th, 2003
At long last, I have made the debut for my Java applet animator. I have used the up-coming Endless Night's Dream game to make a teaser movie that truthfully explains nothing whatsoever.
Bestiary Update: Ccoa

Saturday, September 6th, 2003
A page has been made to display all of the previous and up-coming contests on Reality's End, plus the winners and their applications. I also made a new splash page to replace the BD Anniversary one that has been up for two months now. It features some Endless Night's Dream and its art-style.
Bestiary Update: Amphitere

August 30, 2003
I have done a lot of upkeep for BD: DNA, such as tweaking the schedules, a script to make tourneys, and adding standings of all the current players' ranks, but that did not seem like enough. So I added Relics to Battling Dragons; they are items that can be used before a battle to alter it in some way.
Bestiary Update: Bull of Inde

August 23, 2003
Battling Dragons: DNA is now up and running for mainstream use; more tournaments will be popping up soon, too, just in case you missed the first ones. I also put up more to the LotGJ Walk-around, and I would like to mention that links in updates are back! I do not know why I ever stopped....

August 16, 2003
That teaser received a revamp, and so did Battling Dragons. Instead of stats jumping up considerably at each new form a familiar attains, they now climb smoothly with level. I have also put some rules for BD on the sign-up page. You would not think a lot of this stuff would need explained, but I got tired of idiots being surprised of their accounts deletion for depleting a ton of my bandwidth. More tournament work was done, too.

August 11, 2003
For this rather off week, I have finished testing the BD tournaments and given them a limited release in the Forums. I have also worked on the LotGJ walk around a bit more. You will also notice a teaser button on each page reminiscing of Monsta Killa's those years back.

August 4, 2003
As far as I can tell, BD: Tournaments are finished in their most basic right. I need only to test it some more before it can be released. In other news, I fixed the forum's timing function and switched it over to Eastern Standard Time, and at long last, the Maelstrom Caverns and Jungle have been added to the LotGJ walk around.

July 29, 2003
Okay, the Hydra is at long last finished. Its grown form with all of its spells has finally been added today. I have also spent quite a bit of time getting the Battling Dragons Tournament working.

July 22, 2003
All four of the Hydra's Hatchling images were added today as well as a handy introduction message for BD battles, telling the names of the members participating. I have also updated the artwork page for the first time in over a year to bring you all of the splash pages that have built up in that time.

July 16, 2003
Okay, it was not as soon as I had hoped, but the Battling Dragons Fourth Anniversary splash page picture is finally up. I have also added the rest of the Hydra Egg's pictures.

July 9, 2003
Battling Dragons has its anniversary today, but you would not really know it. There is no new splash page pic, and this update did not come until ten o'clock to get the Hydra up. I am of very poor, infectious health right now, so only the Hydra's egg is up right now. I hope to be able to get the rest up very soon.

July 2, 2003
For the first update of this month, we get a little from both worlds. The magic system implemented in the BD: RPG including getting scrolls, combining scrolls, and all the good that comes with. Then, all gym pages have had their layout changed from the normal Reality's End layout to sleek, black one with but a picture in the corner.

June 26, 2003
Yet another new enemy is added to Battling Dragons! Presenting... the Hippocerf -- the most worthless monster ever! I also had to take down non-member voting from the polls due to people excessively abusing it and overloading my server.

June 20, 2003
The Behemoth has been added as an enemy for the BD RPG! I have also entirely reworked the ranking page for the BD players to be much more useful, and I have implemented a system for Battling Dragons that will keep track of and give back web site hit experience you normally did not earn while being challenged.

June 15, 2003
It has been long overdue, but I finally have pictures for the human characters in the BD RPG. I am supposed to have one for each class and gender, but I have only made two -- the male Beast Tamer and the female Summoner. They will be used for every class for now.

June 8, 2003
Classic un-favorites like the Code Zone are back in a collection I would like to call Stuff. A lot of the old material has been moved their to clear out the side bar, as well as some new old stuff like Quick Quest. I also added an area map that summarizes surroundings to the BD RPG to ease navigation.

June 1, 2003
The fourth year of Reality's End on-line is here, and with it has come a new splash page pic and an entirely redone layout. It is more or less the old one, but with very much improved graphics, including the title bar pictures. Quick links have been added to the title bar as well, and the side bar has had its ordering redone.
