- Saturday, the 13th
- New winter splash pic is up (which is sadly about a yearly occurance now), but more importantly, the Christmas Giveaway started today! How unexpected! Unless, of course, you've been here for any of the previous five years...
- Thursday, the 4th
- Since RE has finally started to release its compiled works, I've created a Development Log that will serve to prove I am actually doing something. I cannot exactly release those things iteratively the many browser-based games here, after all.
- Saturday, the 8th
- The new project Kirby's Dream Land Java project has completed its first stage, ramping up to a fully playable and adequate release. Also, I got to play Monster Party last weekend, so it is all good! And a discussion board, but mostly Monster Party.
- Friday, Halloween
- After a lot of frustration, I sorta have a demo up of the Java project I've been working on for forever. I just had to have a Halloween update, even at the expense of not using the whole day to beat Monster Party.
- Tuesday, the 21st
- Today, I finally put a favicon on Reality's End. That's all you people get.
- Thursday, the 25th
- More RE League? What gives? Well, I coded it so long ago (it was the first thing I made for this site, after all) that there is room for vast improvement, like the new frameless Walk-Around. Smoooooooth!
- Tuesday, the 16th
- Finally finished up the LotGJ TM list for the REL. MAFMP! Some other code and in the RE League was cleaned up, too.
- Thursday, the 28th
- To make up for all of my scannerless updates over the past few months...
Shadow Aura Release: Dolfool. Yeah, this still happens from time to time. Hopefully now, those times will be closer together.
- Tuesday, the 26th
- Put up another RSS feed, this time for the REWS. It wasn't included in the Forums feed, so anyone relying solely on it for their updates would miss any stories! Y'know, if anyone wrote stories anymore...
- Wednesday, the 30th
- In an update that is probably occurring way too late, all of the B-Monsters have been updated to the new NDR2 system, including the new tech effects.
- Wednesday, the 9th
- To mark the epic ninth year anniversary of everyone's favorite Battling Dragons-based game, Battling Dragons, Reality's End now has... familiar summoning techs in FtRPG. Huh? Yup. This is the sorta update you get when my scanner is broken.
- Friday, the 27th
- In an update that has been in the works for a surprising length of time, the Shadow Aura elemental icons and terrain map imagery have both changed to rely on background color instead of thick border colors. This greatly reduces the size (only 500 pixels square) for greater ease fitting in a browser window, although I know it will take some getting used to. Of course, the original concept of looking at border colors took getting used to, too.
- Sunday, the 1st
- The Lou Carcolh becomes the sixteenth BD monster and first of the new (half) version on this ninth anniversary of Reality's End.
- Saturday, the 31st
- Since I'm on a roll with the worthless updates, I figured I would fix-up the most worthless of the all -- FtRPG! The console is now much more usable and informative, and will do just about all the work for you, especially when it comes to combining new techs.
- Thursday, the 29th
- I bet you've been hoping for a pretty big update with all this time off. Welp, sorry, but it is just me working on QBASIC with fervor ever since I discovered it was released into the public domain.
- Friday, the 18th
- New splash page up today featuring the Lynx in the Planetfall logo. Why? Because the winter pic was up prior to this. Wow.
- Saturday, the 5th
- Today marks the debut of Battling Dragons version 4.5, complete with new functionality such as Auras, Scaring, Feeding, Barriers, and generally improved formula, skills, and tactics!
- Monday, the 31st
- Okay, this really isn't a new update, but now that the month is almost over, the first ever Shadow Aura lottery is about to commence! Every victory earns a member a ticket to win a special elemental monsta, drawn at month's end.
- Tuesday, the 11th
- The new proposal system has had community scratch boards added to it. Anyone can edit these files, which allows for a much faster coordination of a story plan than the discussion boards could allow.
- Saturday, the 8th
- I finally fixed a feature my host pulled out from under me -- the BD bestiary voting booths! No one may have cared about that, including me, but that was preventing discussion boards from appearing on HTML pages, including every bestiary page. The forum main page records recent discussions at the bottom to keep such updates in an easy-to-find place.
- Thursday, the 28th
- Since there isn't much I can do for the REWS as far as making the story-writing experience any better, I instead improved the story-planning phase. A new proposal system allows members to suggest and collaborate on developing works.
- Thursday, the 21st
- Wrappin' up the REL anniversary classy -- by fixing something in desperate need. PokéBox has had every error I can think of removed from it, so it should respond more cleanly and quickly. Also, I put pictures in there. Why not have pictures, I say.
- Monday, the 28th
- I added the leader history to the BD Battle Board. To make it worthwhile, it not only lists every member who has surmounted the board, but also some quick facts about their time on top. Plus, the RE League's gym leader functionality is now Mozilla-friendly, too.
- Wednesday, the 23rd
- You may not have known, but today marks the eight-year anniversary of when the RE League first appeared on this site. You also may not know that I never play it anymore since it only works in IE. Well, not anymore; everything from the player's side works in normal browsers now. From the gym-leader town-creating side... that's another update.
- Thursday, the 10th
- Welp, after a little experimentation, it seems that RSS feeds are going to be the next attempt to keep visitors at least informed of this site if not at it. Thus far, there is one for the forums and one for the main page updates, and yes, I do hate my hit counter.
- Wednesday, the 2nd
- I put up a test comic by the name of RE Illustrated. While I was at it, I also implemented a basic gallery system and threw up the old BD Championship comics, too.
