December 29, 2001
This looks like it for the year; I've worked on the Quick Quest Bot a lot more and, as I had promised, began work on the Battling Dragons RPG. In memory of the early R.E. League, I'll have a test page in which the basic concepts of battle can be seen.

December 22, 2001
I know it is very soon for another update, but I've added both a Christmas entry picture and a music to this site. In addition, I've moved the chat room to a new server. I'd also like to announce my widely successful work on my mIRC (i.e. chat room) game. If you ever catch me in the chat room, be sure to check it out.

December 20, 2001
The forum now has more icons in it, stores the user info only on command, has a fixed page system so that a viewer can access second and so forth pages from the list of topics, and has gained next- and previous- post links at the top of every thread. Viewers are also now informed on new posts made since a last visit.
I also put a progress bar on the BD page to show the completion of the up-coming monster.

December 14, 2001
I've worked on the forum a lot more now that it's on a server that works. I've added cookie-stored usernames and passwords, a language filter, moderating functions, and a little hop box to help you get from one area to another. And what update would be complete without more Artwork being added? Besides that, I've grouped together pictures of similar subjects in order to save space.

December 9, 2001
I've managed to get the forum back on-line at a new server. This one shouldn't disappear like the last, so feel free to waste time there in confidence that your banter will be safe. Also, the maker of the Jabberwock has redone some of its pics to make it look even better, so I have uploaded them all.

December 2, 2001
In memory of the late George Harrison, I've added over thirty Beatle's MIDIs to Reality's End as with a commemorative entry pic. In addition to that, I've done something I thought I would never sink to -- I've made a PokéDex, but it isn't like most. It is largely a stat calculator, and I shall be adding much more features to it.

November 26, 2001
I've fixed up a lot of errors in the R.E. League (like when Poison damage takes place), and I've rid the PokéBox of all of its little flukes that people and idiots alike were exploiting. I've also added a few more TMs.

November 20, 2001
I've added lot's of artwork to the site. There are a few Battling Dragon pics, including the first look at the Monoceros, and some more Monsta Killa pics including never-before-seen-but-soon-to-be monsters.

November 17, 2001
I had to move Monsta Killa back to my other back-up server and fix the links to all of the title pictures. I also added a few entry pictures to the art gallery. I also added a "Turn Off Music" function to the side bar, which I feel will deal with any problems I have from now on concerning my randomized music.

November 10, 2001
The server that hosts my Forum and my PBS is down, so both have been removed for the time being. I have been forced to revert to my old forum until I can find another host. All I've had time to do is update the layouts for the R.E. League and Battling Dragon main pages.

November 3, 2001
I've added more icons and features to the forum, including editting and quoting. On another note, I've redone the layout of the main page of Reality's End. It gives a more compact look the site. Game main pages are next on my list.

October 29, 2001
Finally, a forum that I can live with. Why? Because its mine! I have finished the initial forum for Reality's End. I still have some things to edit on it, but its good enough right now.

October 22, 2001
The layout is back in blue, but the top pictures, as well as the entry pic, are different. There are now changed into a Halloween theme. I have also worked on the forum more.

October 17, 2001
It's been a while, so I decided once again to add more Artwork. Namely, they are Monsta Killa pics. Some of these pictures are over a year old, but with the game now released, its sketches may be as well.

October 11, 2001
Monsta Killa now has a Hall of Fame ready and viewable. I have added it to the sidebar, too, making it officially an R.E. game. You probably have also noticed that the red Avenge color scheme is still present. I have decided to keep it up because of the attacks.

October 4, 2001
Battling Dragons battle logs are now available for viewing in multiple places -- in the account viewer and from your log in. I have also tidied up a lot of BD code, such as win ratios no longer displaying an infinitely long decimal. I know I haven't been around for a while, but its all been due to college tests strategically scheduled at the same time.

September 27, 2001
Uh, apparently there was an error in the Q-BASIC game Killin', but it and several other unpleasantnesses have been taken care of. It is now available in version 1.1. Also, I've updated Monsta Killa to preload images so you don't have to wait for them to load while you play.

September 23, 2001
This is quite an unexpected revalation. From no where, a past project that I worked on, the Pokémon Battle Simulator, has caught the attention of someone with a server of his own. He has given me access to a server to develop PBS and another for my own use. This could possibly mean that Reality's End has finally found the host its been looking for. I've added PBS to the side bar and worked on it a bunch since I have a reason.

September 19, 2001
Shadow Aura: Monsta Killa is so close to completion, it is palpable. The finishing touches are cosmetic at most. So, I've decided to put up a Beta Test version for everyone to try. If it were up to me, the game would be done by now, but this is a joint project and certain members aren't putting as much work into it as myself.

September 12, 2001
For the first time in Reality's End's lifetime, I have made an emergency update. I have uploaded a new mourning picture of Hrimfaxi to serve as entry pic and title background. For once, the blue has left the layout, and it has been replaced with drab, sorrowful colors. It will remain like this for the duration of the tradegy.
This isn't much, but it is something....

September 9, 2001
Ever wonder what goes on in Battling Dragon fights? Well, it isn't that interesting, but I put up a battle log viewer anyway. During battle, you can see what's going on and react accordingly to it. I've added a more important feature, too, which informs you as to how much experience is needed until your familiar levels up. The BD Help file has also been updated.

September 4, 2001
The R.E. League sign-up process has been redone for a new look and feel. This is just the beginning process in adding an in-depth plot to the R.E. League. New applicants will really appreciate it. In other news, Shadow Aura: Monsta Killa, the joint Java Game project I and two other web masters have been conspiring on, has been heavily worked upon.

August 29, 2001
I finally redid the format of the Artwork section. Now, instead of one endless list, my pictures are divided into easy-to-browse categories. Aside from that, I uploaded all of the old Splash Page pics that I have used over the years for viewing.

August 26, 2001
Well, its done... sort of. Arena Terrae: Quest was completed to a point in which it can be used. However, there are still many adventurous elements missing, like actual enemy graphics and RPG items (like keys), but it should still play normally enough.

August 19, 2001
I put a new entry pic of for the splash page. It'll be part of the series of splash pages I want to make into a randomizer. Aside from that, I've worked on Arena Terrae: Quest and the secret Java project Monsta Killa heavily. At least one of them will be out by next week.

August 14, 2001
The final two Hrimfaxi Chariot pictures, Moon Shot and Crescent Cure, have been uploaded, thereby finishing Hrimfaxi. I have also started work on a way to allow RPG style adventures to be played utilizing Arena Terrae, and of course, despite time restraints with college just around the cornor for me, I have two other secret projects that I am working on copiously. I wonder where I find the time to do all of this....

August 10, 2001
Two more Hrimfaxi pics were done. Both are of the Chariot form -- its normal picture and that of its first spell. I also added a promo button area for the sidebar, along with something to promote.

August 6, 2001
I've editted a lot of Battling Dragons things (mostly code, though). I went ahead and added a new feature to the search function that allows you not only to find enemy creatures of a certain level, but also thoughs in between a defined range of levels.

July 31, 2001
I've editted my on-line site manager some more to include fixing Arena Terrae bugs. Server account deletion has posed a real threat to the new game's workability, but I've written scripts to handle this. Also, I've added self-correcting code to AT so that in-game errors can right themselves. I've also added a blocking feature to Battling Dragons that allows members to stop annoying battle invitations from unwanted challengers.

July 26, 2001
More Hrimfaxi pictures are up, but another accomplishment has been made. I have made a management file that allows me not only allows me to quickly sort through user files, but I can also edit them or delete them. That's right! All those dud accounts are going to be history.

July 23, 2001
After seeing how shoddy the Nidhogg pics looked compared to the new Hrimfaxi ones, I redid the backgrounds of them. I also have put up some more Hrimfaxi pictures. In other news, in a vain attempt to get more Reality's End users to enter the mIRC chat room, I've added the chat frame to the Chat page itself, so that people may enter the room no matter where they are at in Reality's End.

July 19, 2001
After my account was deleted on Arena Terrae, I put together a backup system to ensure that such a thing will never happen again. While editting the AT code, I put in a sytem through which a broken computer can be repaired.

July 15, 2001
Sorry about making this update so late in the day, but Arena Terrae Beta Version is now up. It is only Beta because there are still a few advanced functions I want to add to it, and there still may be a bug or two I don't know about yet. You can still sign up and play normally, however.

July 11, 2001
The Jabberwock was added for adoption in Battling Dragons, and slight adjustments have been made to the new adoptable creatures and in general. On a more important note, I have a new splash page pic up. I have also split the updates into three pages now. Oh yeah, much more work has been done on Arena Terrae. Expect it soon.

July 9, 2001
Battling Dragons is two years old this day! What a feeling! It was the first game on Reality's End, and it always has been the strongest. Now, there is another creature to adopt -- Hrimfaxi, Norse Horse of the Moon. The first submitted creature has also come in -- Kamaitachi, the Sickle Weasel. Of course, I remind you that you may only adopt one creature at a time. If you already have an account and you want one of these new guys, you'll have to clear your account. I have also revamped the battle system to accomidate some new attacks and also to fix some of the old procedures.

July 6, 2001
Well, it was a long and restless night, but I finally got Arena Terrae done enough to beta test. I am contacting all those who agreed to help, and I can only hope enough beta testers are on-line at the same enough to test the game adequately.

July 2, 2001
Bah! My FTP site has had a whole slew of down time recently, making it almost entirely responsible for Arena Terrae not yet being complete. For the last week, working on AT is all that I have done. With the BD anniversary coming up, I think it'd be better to wait and have AT finished with no time restraints and ample testing than to rush it out before the ninth.
And again, Reality's End is having memory problems. I had to move all of the Poliwhirl Shrine pictures to the remote server as well. This is getting out of hand....

June 26, 2001
I've tweeked the new Battling Dragons new battle system some more, completely optimizing its performance. As far as big things go, Arena Terrae has taken more hours from my sleep in the last couple weeks than any task I've undertaken before. I am still working on it, however, although it may be out soon. I have also begun the pics of the Hrimfaxi Dew Drop, the next BD creature.

June 22, 2001
The longest day of the year felt every bit of it for me. After several puzzling errors, the new Battling Dragons fighting system works perfectly (as far as I know) after beating my head repeatedly and canceling every single battle multiple times just to flush out errors. Now players may choose the attacks their creatures use, or they may entrust the creatures to an Artificial Intelligence. I also updated the BD Help File to explain many of the new features in BD and to help elaborate some of the old.

June 18, 2001
Despite what the updates have shown, it has been a busy week for me. Arena Terrae is getting closer and closer to completion as I add on the finishing touches, but I also need to get more new features into Battling Dragons. I managed to get the new battle system in BD up, despite my FTP site constantly being down.

June 11, 2001
My server has begun to run out of memory. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I have to address it in either case. I have moved all artwork files to another server. This should take a load off. Since I was messing with the artwork, I added four new pictures to the artwork as well.

June 5, 2001
I finally found out how to use IP blocking on F2S (the variable for IP addresses had a wierd name), so I was finally able to add old things, like IP blocking in the guest book, and some new tricks as well, like stopping BD users from battling others on the same computer and from refreshing a page continuously in order to gain cheated experience.

June 1, 2001
Reality's End turns two years old today, and the curse of the anniversary continues. This year, I had the most fortunate occurance of having a head cold from a couple weeks ago turn into an ear infection. Yeehaw! I can't wait to see what next year brings.
Getting down to business, I've instituted the new layout for Reality's End with shiny pictures and borders. The images are small enough not to bog down loading time, but more than enough to bring up the classiness of RE. On top of that, I have a new entry pic to celebrate the occasion featuring a Nidhogg Hatchling and -- lo and behold -- a Hrimfaxi Dew Drop!

May 29, 2001
Well, a big change hit Reality's End today: The Nidafells' Dragon is no more. After finally reading an untranslated version of the Voluspa, I have discovered that the Nidafells' Dragon (as I so called it) and Nidhogg, another of my favorite monsters, are one in the same. This just goes to show you how little you can trust translation. Anywho, all Nidafells' Dragons have been successfully turned into Nidhoggs, and the Phenotype category has been collapsed into Elements once again, so Nidhoggs are Dragon & Dark, not just Dark, for elements.
Also, I put up the Battle Board for Battling Dragons, allowing members to seek battle when they wish it without having to scroll through all members.

Resurrection Chronicles
May 26, 2001
Battling Dragons v3.0 Beta has finally been released. Could it be true? After seventeen days, Reality's End has risen from the ashes!
RYH - Adopt a Creature
May 25, 2001
Huzzah! Battling Dragons Beta version 3.0 is nearing completion. I worked on it all day and still couldn't get it done. It will be done soon, I hope....
RYH - Battling Dragons Teaser #2
May 24, 2001
El Cheapo, AKA Mewtwo, was put into the walk around again today. If I didn't like the storyline that went along with him so much, I wouldn't even add him.
RYH - Catch Mewtwo
May 23, 2001
Can you guess what happened today? That's right. Moltres was recreated.
RYH - Catch Moltres
May 22, 2001
Zapdos was added to the walk around today, and of course, I have furthered work on Battling Dragons.
RYH - Catch Zapdos
May 21, 2001
I've made a spiffy new way for me to edit rare catching battles. Articuno has been added so far with it, and the rest should be a snap.
RYH - Catch Articuno
May 20, 2001
All trainer battles in Maelstrom City have finally been rewritten. I finally cracked the new BD code as well.
RYH - Fight Some Trainers
May 19, 2001
I've worked on Battling Dragons v3.0b a ton. New ways of doing things have been thought up, but for the most part, I just have to go back and change code to handle the new ways of doing things in verion 3.
RYH - Battling Dragons v3.0b Info
May 18, 2001
After numerous complaints about account deletion, I have decided to make a script to back up R.E. League accounts. I have even improved I/O security to address the issue.
RYH - Battling Dragons Teaser #1
May 17, 2001
Not only have I been planning for the Adoption Center's return, but now I've started to take action. I've worked on some new coding methods that will make this version of Battling Dragon's multiple times better than the last.
RYH - Badges Uploaded
May 16, 2001
Okay, I've made a seperate e-mail file for accounts to be confirmed through. There have been a lot of server errors with the e-mail program on F2S, so a lot of accounts haven't been confirmed. Now, the confirmation code can be sent whenever one wishes by logging into one's PokéBox and confirming their account
RYH - Confirm Your Account
May 15, 2001
Oy, I was just informed that the junk shop didn't work, so I had to go and fix it. Evidently, it was one of the files not backed up, so I had to remake it.
RYH - Lots of Gyms to Beat
May 14, 2001
Adoption files have been converted for the new F2S server. Also, just to show you its still all business here at RE, I've added four artwork pics of Arena Terrae characters. Remember that game? It's what was in the works before the crash.
RYH - Arena Terrae Pics
May 13, 2001
All wild battles in the R.E. League walk around have been remade, and some trainers have been, too. Slowly but surely, R.E. League gyms are returning.
RYH - Play, Level Up, and Catch in the Walk Around
May 12, 2001
R.E. League is back, baby! Gyms aren't set up yet, and there aren't really any battles to get into, but many gym leaders have been notified and are setting up their accounts again. I had to collapse the Elite Masters rank stuff in the REL code since the REL seriously lacks gyms now.
RYH - Sign Up for a new R.E. League Account
May 11, 2001
Well, the R.E. League is ready to be reopened, but for some reason F2S's e-mail program is working. This means that gym leader's can't sign up their accounts to get the gyms back on-line (they need the e-mails to get their confirmation code as do all trainers).
RYH - R.E. League Fan Fic
May 10, 2001
Somehow I missed the Artwork files from yesterday. They're all uploaded now, and some CGI and Cookie files has been fixed as well. The CGI Files for the Battling Dragons and the R.E. League will take some time to be successfully converted, however.
RYH - Uh, the Reasons You're Here began today
May 9, 2001
This is the second time Reality's End has moved servers, although this time, it was forced. VirtualAvenue, the most hated of all hosts, has deleted my account (not my fault; all them). No accounts were backed up. Everything was lost. The R.E. League and Battling Dragons will have to start from scratch. So begins the Resurrection Chronicles. All HTML files have been prepped and modified according for the new server.
May 7, 2001
A great new Poliwhirl background is now featured in the Maelstrom City walk around. If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out. It's pretty cool. And of course, Arena Terrae has been worked on. The release draws nearer.

May 2, 2001
It's been a while, but I have finally added a slew of new Artwork. It includes Hrimfaxi, the next adoptable creature to be made, and a bunch of pics from a game I made called Realms for short. I have been fixing up the Arena Terrae code, and I hope to have the game done before May is out.

April 25, 2001
I rescanned all of the Nidafells' Dragon pictures. I put extra thick black outlines on them to make them look a little better. A lot of work has been going into the the new on-line game coming soon to this site, Arena Terrae, which is coming along so well that I may disclose information like its name and may even get a page up with some general information in the near future.

April 19, 2001
I've been working non-stop on the new game. Here are some hints about it: it will be multi-player, it will have a general phantasy theme, and it will be a strategy game of sorts. Also, the old, sucky Coolboards forum was ditched for a shiny new Ultraboard.

April 13, 2001
The Nidafells' Dragon is complete! Shadow Blast was added today. Also, I added an IP banner to my Guest Book to get rid of any unsavory characters. I also have been putting a lot of work into a new game. No leaks yet; it's a secret.

April 8, 2001
Now all accounts for Reality's End games require e-mail confirmations to be established. This will cut back drastically on the amount of dud accounts. I have also solved the problem of Abra and Jigglypuff being attackless when you start with them in the R.E. League. They, amoung others, can no longer be chosen as starting Pokémon. Also, I have taken a series of steps to make the R.E. League as true to Chromatics as possible as well as added the lastest research into the game.

April 5, 2001
Gyms in the R.E. League can no longer by overpowered by stronger trainers. Their Pokemon's levels will rise to whatever the leader of a gym has trained them to if the contender is of a higher level than the faction level. Wild and Trainer battles have also been given some variations to their levels. Aside from that, I made a gym leader's life easier by making juggle easier to edit in a combo box.

March 29, 2001
Finally! There are now five factions in the R.E. League. Not only that, but gyms can sell more, make more, and are all around more challenging to fight. Also, I fixed the List of Gyms to display unestablished gyms at the bottom of the list. A password is no longer required to view gyms that a member has not defeated, too. It was foolish of me to put it there in the first place.

March 25, 2001
It is taking longer than expected to review all gym sites in the R.E. League for promotion. I hope to have a new fifth faction in The League within the week.
I have also taken it upon myself to make a new layout for Reality's End. You can see how its coming in this preview page.

March 18, 2001
A lot of little things have been done today, all to make the R.E. League better, especially for gym leaders. They get paid when promoted, less errors can occur for them, they can set their own juggle, and now shops should start selling a better variety of items. The PokéBox attack rearranger is accessible to those with only one Pokemon; same with the account viewer, and many other small tweeks too numerous to name here.

March 15, 2001
Today, the first Ides of March of the new millenium, I release my Q-BASIC game, Killin'. You can find it in the Q-BASIC area which has been added to the side bar. It would seem that the odd year I've spent working on it has finally paid off.

March 11, 2001
I am at long last on the last stage of my Q-BASIC game, Killin'. I hope to be able to finish it this week. In other programming news, I am making a C++ game which will be a Maze/RPG mixture which will be my next big programming project.

March 6, 2001
Well, I got snowed out of high school today, so I was able to do some work. I know I said that the R.E. League Link Battler was dead, but I may have found the flaw in its code. I may be able to open it to the public after a week or so of private testing. On another note, yesterday I reached 20,000 hits. Go, Reality's End!

March 4, 2001
Oh, it has been a busy night. Not only has Mewtwo been made catchable once again, but I've increased the amount of items R.E. League shops can sell, decreased the cost of flags, changed a lot of functions in the PokéBox to be more effective, increased the sizes of certain text areas for enhanced readability, and updated all help files to match this information. In AD&D news, I fixed up some old language that was on the main page. It appears I didn't fix it after chapter two came out.

February 25, 2001
The Legendary Birds are finally catchable in the R.E. League. I also found some minor flaws in code and fixed them up. Since the R.E. League anniversary is over, I had to make a new entry pic. On another note, I have a new IRC chat room for Reality's End.

February 21, 2001
Happy birthday, R.E. League. It was one year ago today that I first allowed visitors to challenge the Maelstrom gym. It has come a long way since then, and it continues to even unto this day. I've made a lot of changes to the walk-around, adding new trainers, areas, and yes, even some puzzles.

February 16, 2001
Today was a day for the dragons! I've uploaded new, crisper pictures for the Adoption Center as well as put in a cookie system so your user name and password can be saved in between visits.

February 11, 2001
I uploaded two new pics for the tops of pages that are much crisper than the old. I've been working a lot on the walk-around to get the Legendaries in it. I've also added a function that kicks a trainer back to the previous scene if they lose a battle, allowing some scenes to require a victory before moving on.

February 4, 2001
Nidafell's Dragon Drake Dark Wing picture added today! Only one more pic needed before I can start on the second adoptable creature. I rid of the Battling Dragons battle confirmation since so many incompetents were canceling battle as soon as they got the e-mail. Also, I added some code to make the R.E. League Badge Shelves and the training game for Battling Dragons load faster.

January 28, 2001
I've changed the format for the R.E. League List of Gyms so lack-wits won't confuse the numbering of gyms for ranks. Now, the total number of gyms is told below the list of every faction. I've also added a Pokémon Releaser to the R.E. League for those trainers who foolishly captured the limit.

January 25, 2001
Okay, I have the new entry pic up commemorating the one year anniversary of the R.E. League! Isn't it cute? I've also fixed the Search function of displaying all gym leaders. It was slightly, well, um, broken. I've also rid of that troublesome banner exchange, and I'm looking for some more suitable Top Lists to join, preferably ones dealing solely with RPGs.

January 20, 2001
Well, it's been a long week of work, but I finally completed the Flag system for the R.E. League. That may not mean much to trainers, but this will allow gym leaders to create interesting plots and the like.
Also, I've improved the PokéBox drastically. Those of you with tons of badges no longer have to worry about them bogging down your loading type, and for gym leaders, battle lists have been condensed greatly.

January 13, 2001
Logging into the walk around just to get to the PokéBox was getting me, and I'm sure a lot of you, too, angry. Therefore, I've supplied a quick PokéBox on the R.E. League main page.
Another great accomplishment is seperating the long-loading Updates page into two seperate pages; one for each year. I've also been working on something for the R.E. League to allow greater interest for its RPG qualities. Gym Leaders will be able to "flag" trainers to allow them or restrict them from entering a certain battle until they fight in a different battle.

January 6, 2001
I added a search function for the R.E. League, but why not Battling Dragons, too? Well, it's there now! I have also finally got around to making a way for users in both games to retrieve lost user names and passwords.
