Well, a big change hit Reality's End today: The Nidafells' Dragon is no more. After finally reading an untranslated version of the Voluspa, I have discovered that the Nidafells' Dragon (as I so called it) and Nidhogg, another of my favorite monsters, are one in the same. This just goes to show you how little you can trust translation. Anywho, all Nidafells' Dragons have been successfully turned into Nidhoggs, and the Phenotype category has been collapsed into Elements once again, so Nidhoggs are Dragon & Dark, not just Dark, for elements.
Also, I put up the Battle Board for Battling Dragons, allowing members to seek battle when they wish it without having to scroll through all members.

Resurrection Chronicles
May 26, 2001
Battling Dragons v3.0 Beta has finally been released. Could it be true? After seventeen days, Reality's End has risen from the ashes!
RYH - Adopt a Creature
May 25, 2001
Huzzah! Battling Dragons Beta version 3.0 is nearing completion. I worked on it all day and still couldn't get it done. It will be done soon, I hope....
RYH - Battling Dragons Teaser #2
May 24, 2001
El Cheapo, AKA Mewtwo, was put into the walk around again today. If I didn't like the storyline that went along with him so much, I wouldn't even add him.
RYH - Catch Mewtwo
May 23, 2001
Can you guess what happened today? That's right. Moltres was recreated.
RYH - Catch Moltres
May 22, 2001
Zapdos was added to the walk around today, and of course, I have furthered work on Battling Dragons.
RYH - Catch Zapdos
May 21, 2001
I've made a spiffy new way for me to edit rare catching battles. Articuno has been added so far with it, and the rest should be a snap.
RYH - Catch Articuno
May 20, 2001
All trainer battles in Maelstrom City have finally been rewritten. I finally cracked the new BD code as well.
RYH - Fight Some Trainers
May 19, 2001
I've worked on Battling Dragons v3.0b a ton. New ways of doing things have been thought up, but for the most part, I just have to go back and change code to handle the new ways of doing things in verion 3.
RYH - Battling Dragons v3.0b Info
May 18, 2001
After numerous complaints about account deletion, I have decided to make a script to back up R.E. League accounts. I have even improved I/O security to address the issue.
RYH - Battling Dragons Teaser #1
May 17, 2001
Not only have I been planning for the Adoption Center's return, but now I've started to take action. I've worked on some new coding methods that will make this version of Battling Dragon's multiple times better than the last.
RYH - Badges Uploaded
May 16, 2001
Okay, I've made a seperate e-mail file for accounts to be confirmed through. There have been a lot of server errors with the e-mail program on F2S, so a lot of accounts haven't been confirmed. Now, the confirmation code can be sent whenever one wishes by logging into one's PokéBox and confirming their account
RYH - Confirm Your Account
May 15, 2001
Oy, I was just informed that the junk shop didn't work, so I had to go and fix it. Evidently, it was one of the files not backed up, so I had to remake it.
RYH - Lots of Gyms to Beat
May 14, 2001
Adoption files have been converted for the new F2S server. Also, just to show you its still all business here at RE, I've added four artwork pics of Arena Terrae characters. Remember that game? It's what was in the works before the crash.
RYH - Arena Terrae Pics
May 13, 2001
All wild battles in the R.E. League walk around have been remade, and some trainers have been, too. Slowly but surely, R.E. League gyms are returning.
RYH - Play, Level Up, and Catch in the Walk Around
May 12, 2001
R.E. League is back, baby! Gyms aren't set up yet, and there aren't really any battles to get into, but many gym leaders have been notified and are setting up their accounts again. I had to collapse the Elite Masters rank stuff in the REL code since the REL seriously lacks gyms now.
RYH - Sign Up for a new R.E. League Account
May 11, 2001
Well, the R.E. League is ready to be reopened, but for some reason F2S's e-mail program is working. This means that gym leader's can't sign up their accounts to get the gyms back on-line (they need the e-mails to get their confirmation code as do all trainers).
RYH - R.E. League Fan Fic
May 10, 2001
Somehow I missed the Artwork files from yesterday. They're all uploaded now, and some CGI and Cookie files has been fixed as well. The CGI Files for the Battling Dragons and the R.E. League will take some time to be successfully converted, however.
RYH - Uh, the Reasons You're Here began today
May 9, 2001
This is the second time Reality's End has moved servers, although this time, it was forced. VirtualAvenue, the most hated of all hosts, has deleted my account (not my fault; all them). No accounts were backed up. Everything was lost. The R.E. League and Battling Dragons will have to start from scratch. So begins the Resurrection Chronicles. All HTML files have been prepped and modified according for the new server.
May 7, 2001
A great new Poliwhirl background is now featured in the Maelstrom City walk around. If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check it out. It's pretty cool. And of course, Arena Terrae has been worked on. The release draws nearer.

May 2, 2001
It's been a while, but I have finally added a slew of new Artwork. It includes Hrimfaxi, the next adoptable creature to be made, and a bunch of pics from a game I made called Realms for short. I have been fixing up the Arena Terrae code, and I hope to have the game done before May is out.

April 25, 2001
I rescanned all of the Nidafells' Dragon pictures. I put extra thick black outlines on them to make them look a little better. A lot of work has been going into the the new on-line game coming soon to this site, Arena Terrae, which is coming along so well that I may disclose information like its name and may even get a page up with some general information in the near future.

April 19, 2001
I've been working non-stop on the new game. Here are some hints about it: it will be multi-player, it will have a general phantasy theme, and it will be a strategy game of sorts. Also, the old, sucky Coolboards forum was ditched for a shiny new Ultraboard.

April 13, 2001
The Nidafells' Dragon is complete! Shadow Blast was added today. Also, I added an IP banner to my Guest Book to get rid of any unsavory characters. I also have been putting a lot of work into a new game. No leaks yet; it's a secret.

April 8, 2001
Now all accounts for Reality's End games require e-mail confirmations to be established. This will cut back drastically on the amount of dud accounts. I have also solved the problem of Abra and Jigglypuff being attackless when you start with them in the R.E. League. They, amoung others, can no longer be chosen as starting Pokémon. Also, I have taken a series of steps to make the R.E. League as true to Chromatics as possible as well as added the lastest research into the game.

April 5, 2001
Gyms in the R.E. League can no longer by overpowered by stronger trainers. Their Pokemon's levels will rise to whatever the leader of a gym has trained them to if the contender is of a higher level than the faction level. Wild and Trainer battles have also been given some variations to their levels. Aside from that, I made a gym leader's life easier by making juggle easier to edit in a combo box.

March 29, 2001
Finally! There are now five factions in the R.E. League. Not only that, but gyms can sell more, make more, and are all around more challenging to fight. Also, I fixed the List of Gyms to display unestablished gyms at the bottom of the list. A password is no longer required to view gyms that a member has not defeated, too. It was foolish of me to put it there in the first place.

March 25, 2001
It is taking longer than expected to review all gym sites in the R.E. League for promotion. I hope to have a new fifth faction in The League within the week.
I have also taken it upon myself to make a new layout for Reality's End. You can see how its coming in this preview page.

March 18, 2001
A lot of little things have been done today, all to make the R.E. League better, especially for gym leaders. They get paid when promoted, less errors can occur for them, they can set their own juggle, and now shops should start selling a better variety of items. The PokéBox attack rearranger is accessible to those with only one Pokemon; same with the account viewer, and many other small tweeks too numerous to name here.

March 15, 2001
Today, the first Ides of March of the new millenium, I release my Q-BASIC game, Killin'. You can find it in the Q-BASIC area which has been added to the side bar. It would seem that the odd year I've spent working on it has finally paid off.

March 11, 2001
I am at long last on the last stage of my Q-BASIC game, Killin'. I hope to be able to finish it this week. In other programming news, I am making a C++ game which will be a Maze/RPG mixture which will be my next big programming project.

March 6, 2001
Well, I got snowed out of high school today, so I was able to do some work. I know I said that the R.E. League Link Battler was dead, but I may have found the flaw in its code. I may be able to open it to the public after a week or so of private testing. On another note, yesterday I reached 20,000 hits. Go, Reality's End!

March 4, 2001
Oh, it has been a busy night. Not only has Mewtwo been made catchable once again, but I've increased the amount of items R.E. League shops can sell, decreased the cost of flags, changed a lot of functions in the PokéBox to be more effective, increased the sizes of certain text areas for enhanced readability, and updated all help files to match this information. In AD&D news, I fixed up some old language that was on the main page. It appears I didn't fix it after chapter two came out.

February 25, 2001
The Legendary Birds are finally catchable in the R.E. League. I also found some minor flaws in code and fixed them up. Since the R.E. League anniversary is over, I had to make a new entry pic. On another note, I have a new IRC chat room for Reality's End.

February 21, 2001
Happy birthday, R.E. League. It was one year ago today that I first allowed visitors to challenge the Maelstrom gym. It has come a long way since then, and it continues to even unto this day. I've made a lot of changes to the walk-around, adding new trainers, areas, and yes, even some puzzles.

February 16, 2001
Today was a day for the dragons! I've uploaded new, crisper pictures for the Adoption Center as well as put in a cookie system so your user name and password can be saved in between visits.

February 11, 2001
I uploaded two new pics for the tops of pages that are much crisper than the old. I've been working a lot on the walk-around to get the Legendaries in it. I've also added a function that kicks a trainer back to the previous scene if they lose a battle, allowing some scenes to require a victory before moving on.

February 4, 2001
Nidafell's Dragon Drake Dark Wing picture added today! Only one more pic needed before I can start on the second adoptable creature. I rid of the Battling Dragons battle confirmation since so many incompetents were canceling battle as soon as they got the e-mail. Also, I added some code to make the R.E. League Badge Shelves and the training game for Battling Dragons load faster.

January 28, 2001
I've changed the format for the R.E. League List of Gyms so lack-wits won't confuse the numbering of gyms for ranks. Now, the total number of gyms is told below the list of every faction. I've also added a Pokémon Releaser to the R.E. League for those trainers who foolishly captured the limit.

January 25, 2001
Okay, I have the new entry pic up commemorating the one year anniversary of the R.E. League! Isn't it cute? I've also fixed the Search function of displaying all gym leaders. It was slightly, well, um, broken. I've also rid of that troublesome banner exchange, and I'm looking for some more suitable Top Lists to join, preferably ones dealing solely with RPGs.

January 20, 2001
Well, it's been a long week of work, but I finally completed the Flag system for the R.E. League. That may not mean much to trainers, but this will allow gym leaders to create interesting plots and the like.
Also, I've improved the PokéBox drastically. Those of you with tons of badges no longer have to worry about them bogging down your loading type, and for gym leaders, battle lists have been condensed greatly.

January 13, 2001
Logging into the walk around just to get to the PokéBox was getting me, and I'm sure a lot of you, too, angry. Therefore, I've supplied a quick PokéBox on the R.E. League main page.
Another great accomplishment is seperating the long-loading Updates page into two seperate pages; one for each year. I've also been working on something for the R.E. League to allow greater interest for its RPG qualities. Gym Leaders will be able to "flag" trainers to allow them or restrict them from entering a certain battle until they fight in a different battle.

January 6, 2001
I added a search function for the R.E. League, but why not Battling Dragons, too? Well, it's there now! I have also finally got around to making a way for users in both games to retrieve lost user names and passwords.

December 31, 2000
I've fixed some of the text in the R.E. League walk around. There is now an example layout to answer most questions about its functions, and a new "View Exits" button that will tell you where you're going. I also have a quickly made map of Maelstrom City which will guide people around in the Visitors' Center of Maelstrom City.
Well, another year comes to close on Reality's End. I've tried to get as much done as possible before the new year. This is all. Time for The End to have a new beginning. Last year is going to be a hard one to match with the R.E. League and all, but it can only get better from here.

December 29, 2000
The R.E. League Walk Around is up. Now, the old Maelstrom City has been disassembled. A new function has also been added. Not only can accounts be viewed (especially through the Hall of Fames), but one can now search through the R.E. League's users.

December 27, 2000
Have you been wondering where I've been? I know I have. Actually, I've been spending a lot of time trying to get the walk-around up and running. It takes a lot of work to make each individual area. It is, however nearing completion and should be done soon. Amoung the the changes made are two new wild areas, three new trainer battles, and a lot of editting to the already existing battles.
Okay, that's not all I've been doing. I have also started a new secret project! I don't know how long it'll take because this is my first work written in Java code.

December 23, 2000
Finally, I have both the Help Page and the Gym Leader's Help Page for the R.E. League complete. It took me all night, but I got them done. I can add to them as time dictates, but I think I've addressed the most important issues in them.

December 20, 2000
A new entry pic is up. Well, it won't be permanent; it's just for Christmas. I've also given the Poliwhirl Shrine a better, darker background.
If you're wondering where I've been, I've been helping out two other sites: The Vaporeon Babble Archive and PBS. Vaporeon Babble is a message board fan fic that I write for, and PBS is an on-line Pokémon battler that I've been helping out recently. Look for them in the links area soon.

December 17, 2000
I've added a lot of "Return from whence you came" links to the R.E. League PokéBox, making it much easier to return to the gym pages. I also completed the Attack Organizer today, so you can choose the order that your Pokémon's attacks appear in. Look for it in the PokéBox as well.

December 15, 2000
Okay, I've added a function to the List of Gyms that allows one to find gyms that one hasn't defeated yet. I have also not only fixed Focus Energy in the R.E. League, but I have also given RockSlide a flinching chance and DizzyPunch a confusion chance.
On another note, I'm also working on HTMLalizing a fanfic about four others and myself made on a message board.

December 13, 2000
I've fixed the AD&D Color Selector. The buttons have been moved from the side bar to the top of the page. I have also fixed the Battling Dragons log-in page so it won't show incredibly long decimals any more. Attacks are shown in percents and stats in whole numbers.

December 9, 2000
Oy. The server for the RELLB just won't stay the same. I've moved it back and forth from a sucky server to a half-way decent one, neither of which I wish to keep it on. I've worked on the code heavily, however, and even added a feature to view other people's battles.

December 2, 2000
I'm tweaking the R.E. League code. I guess there are still some flaws in it. Other than that, I've been working like crazy on the RELLB. Major flaws have been worked out of it. I've changed its server to a better one as well, but the server is still not perfect. I need someone to host it so that it runs more smoothly.

November 26, 2000
Okay, the Junk Shop was flawed, but it's all good now. No problems should come out of it anymore. I also had to change the chat rooms for the RELLB since the old one was causing problems.
Also, Reality's End met its 10,000th hit over the week end. Whoo-hoo! That means a new entry pic. Hopefully I can find some image editting software so the color will be clean.

November 22, 2000
Okay, I'm thinking of openning the RELLB over the holiday. It seems to work well enough. I am also opening the Junk Shop, which will sell all TMs not sold by gym leaders at the current time to ensure that all TMs may be bought. The catch? You need forty badges and a Maelstrom Badge to enter.

November 19, 2000
The RELLB works! I tested it thanks to Golem Kong, leader of the Sucky Gym, and the remaining bugs will be worked out of it shortly. Of course, due to bandwidth conservation, only Azurians and former PBSers will be allowed to use it. If I can get someone to host it, I shall open it to the public.
Aside from that, I have added HyperBeam and BodySlam to the TMs available in the R.E. League. Whoohoo!

November 12, 2000
I said that I'd have the RELLB up if no serious problems occured and I kept my promise. I worked on it all night (until half past five in the morn!), and still severe errors are preventing the release of the Link Battler. I won't be able to work on it until next weekend because of all of my college work.

November 8, 2000
Not much to you, but due to some idiot leaving multiple obscene messages in the Guest Book, I have safeguarded it as well as updated some of its features.

November 5, 2000
Well, I spent all night working on the R.E. League Link Battler. There are so many problems that I don't even know where to begin. Besides that, I revamped gym addition and promotion methods to smooth the transaction.

October 30, 2000
Okay, I've added six, yes, count 'em six new pics to the Art Gallery. Each is of one of the trainers you can battle in the R.E. League. You always wanted to know what they look like so here they... oh, wait, you didn't care what they looked like? Well, I made them anyway.

October 25, 2000
Sorry for the lack of updated, but I've been swamped with tests and college projects. I did, however, manage to make a new trainer for the R.E. League. I've also been working on the R.E. League Link Battler, so that may be open soon.

October 18, 2000
Well, a whole slew of new TMs are available in the R.E. League, ones that are actually used like Blizzard and ThunderBolt, too! Aside from that, I've fixed the Guest Book, which someone broke by posting multiple long messages in a row.

October 14, 2000
Cookie cookie! The R.E. League has been completely cookie updated (not just for battles anymore) so once you log in to something, you won't have to retype in your user name and password until the cookie goes away. I also have the walk-around R.E. League up for trial, but it is only in initial stages of development.

October 11, 2000
Glorious day! Technical Machines are back in the R.E. League! Now, the only problem is making them all. I only have the ones that were in the old R.E. League currently available, so I'm going to have to add the others whenever the gym leaders demand.

October 6, 2000
Boo-yah! I fixed the Adoption Center, tidied up the new entry pic, fixed more bugs in the R.E. League, and made the new R.E. League badge shelf that doesn't require updating, and still, there is more to come! Oy....
I also got the Magikarp Fisher up again and finally added the Abandoned Research Facility, which was supposed to be added in the old R.E. League but I never had the time (I don't think you quite understand just how much of my time is taken up by this site).

October 4, 2000
I got the new entry pic scanned. It'll need some adjusting, but it commemorates my 5000 hit. Sure, it's about five hundred hits late, but it's good enough. I also have worked in some safeties to flaws in the R.E. League.

September 30, 2000
There were some more bugs in the R.E. League that needed some working-out. They've all been fixed, though. I've also added Evolution Stones to the shops as well as fixed some of the code for the shop. Plus, I finally cleared five-thousand hits. I'm working on a special splash page pic to commemorate the moment.

September 24, 2000
Oy, the revamped R.E. League is rough. I have worked out almost every bug in the code. I've also added a lot of little bells and whistles to it, too. I've also changed the Poliwhirl Shrine's cascading style sheet to a dark variant so that it matches the rest of the site.

September 22, 2000
It is done. Long months of rewriting code have finally paid off. The new R.E. League is now servicable. Sign up today for best battler ever to bless the 'net. I have made many improvements, so please take your time to appreciate them. The other gyms should be updating their sites shortly.

September 16, 2000
Yes! Pokémon finally had an episode all about Poliwag! Not only was it unbelievably adorable, but the episode didn't suck! The animation was done by someone who could actually draw (unlike most Orange Isle episodes), so that was another plus. Normally, I would be worried about people sweating Poli, my all time fave Pokémon, but luckily, that kawaii creature is turning into Nyorotono, bane of all that is Poli. Yeah, Nyorotono should die. Nyorobon forever!
At any rate, the new R.E. League is coming up fast. I just need to get the gym leaders to set up accounts so that they may be battled and few other minor tweaks.

September 13, 2000
I've been working on the new R.E. League like bloody mad. I've even been programming on weekdays. I haven't worked this much since I first made the R.E. League. Well, I did a quick few things. I finally have the Nidafells' Dragon Drake Claw attack picture uploaded. Also, I got a forum for Reality's End. If everyone plays nice on the forum, I'll program a forum myself so that it may have all sorts of wacky features.

September 9, 2000
Yeah, the new R.E. League, and Killin' have been worked on, but what do you care? Just to make a "real" update on this site, I've uploaded two new pics to the Artwork section. At last, a drawing of the Nidafells' Dragon!

September 3, 2000
Well, my search for new server is taking longer than expected. I have temporarily fixed the Adoption Center so that battles may once more resume. I still need the new server so that I may restore the old Adoption Center. This temp one works just the same; it just has a different display. I have worked on the new R.E. League some, too.

September 1, 2000
I've been searching for a new server, but can find nothing. No free hosts provide what I need or are not currently working. Some just may take time to review my application, but in that case, I have no time to waste. I have worked on Killin' and the new R.E. League quite a bit as well, even despite the turmoil. I have a long year in front of me....

August 25 2000
Alas, not even two months on my new server and Virtual Avenue has already given me more than enough problems to handle. Now, they have gone too far. The R.E. Adoption Center no longer functions. It is all because of them. I am seeking a new server that is free of Virtual Avenue's tyranny. Until then, the Adoption Center will accept new applicants, but battles will remain dormant.

August 21, 2000
I've been working on my Q-BASIC game Killin' an awful lot, probably more than I should be. I've also been working on the new R.E. League which I hope will be done before the summer is out.

August 16, 2000
I was forced to change some code in the R.E. Adoptions since a bunch of idiots were challenging themselves. Besides that, more work has been done on the new R.E. League. You'll be glad to know that Roar and WhirlWind will exist in the new REL, and they function as they would in the Gold/Silver version of Pokémon.

August 9, 2000
This whole week has been nothing but work on the R.E. League and MUD research. In the new League, I added nicknames as well as fixed continual and rapid attacks like Wrap and Fury Swipes, respectively.

August 3, 2000
The first update for the month. I hate these. It makes me realize how fast time has gone by. I have added a code fragment to the Adoption battles prohibiting a user from opening up more than one account. You can thank someone who was trying to cheat the system for that.

July 30, 2000
I moved the entries from the last two of Reality's End's guest books to the new one. I also started up the introduction to the R.E. League. It's not of much use now, but it will help people to better understand the plot when I make the RE League RPG.

July 26, 2000
Reality's End has now converted to SSI! I decided to do this after a rather nasty experience with IE 4. Another plus is that you will be able to see things better when this site is in a non-maximized window or a frame. In other news, I destroyed the Poliwhirl Episodes section and cleaned up some gym code.

July 23, 2000
Up yours, you Psychicing Recovering freaks! Power Points, or PP, has been added to the R.E. League! Now all of your moves have been limited by uses. Ha! That ought to stop people from winning by Swift and Hyper Beam.

July 20, 2000
Today I finished a new thing for the R.E. League, but you guys will probably never see it! It's not on Reality's End. It was a little something I made for Kinak's PokéBattle RPG. By altering some R.E. League code, I allowed the good people of KPB to use the R.E. League for its members to challenge gym leaders. That makes it the first R.E. Associate ever. I would put a link to it here, but they are running low on staff and prefer to get their traffic by word of mouth just to keep the member count lower.

July 15, 2000
Okay, I fixed some Gym code as well as Adoption Code. Also, I've added the Adoption Center Help section as well as the List of Current Users. In the gym, I added the Caverns catching area.

July 11, 2000
I put in the pic for the adult Nidafells' Dragon today! It can now fully grow up, but all of its pictures will be the same basic one until I scan its attacks. More gym code tidied up, too. Mew and the other Legendaries are catchable again, for I forgot to update my file when I uploaded the new site.

July 9, 2000
One long year it has been since I first built the Adoption Center. Now it is entirely revamped with CGI. This, of course, means that I can no longer be on Angelfire. I shall miss this site dearly. Angelfire has served me well this last past year, but Reality's End's needs are growing past what Angelfire can provide. Expect new and great things from Reality's End at its new location, realitysend.virtualave.net. You would never have to worry about where R.E. goes if you just remember one of my redirects, though. Always remember that come.to/realitysend and realitysend.cjb.net will take you here no matter where I may move.
Aside from the Adoption Center, I fixed some more Gym code.

June 29, 2000
I've been gone for over a week, but I have a good excuse. The RE Quest has been decompiled. Instead, I am reworking the Adoption Game, if any of you remember it. I have been working on that heavily, so you won't see anything here. Anywho, just to keep you happy, I have placed three more pictures in the Artwork section.

I've been off the internet for four days and it was bloody freezing Hel! But, now I and my connection are back. Doesn't that just make you all so happy? I'll be fixing some probs that I had left behind.

O great spite to the Mewtwo users! I have programmed Pokémon catching into the R.E. League. Mewtwo must now be caught, and you can only have one! Same goes to the Legendary Birds.

It has been quite a while since the anniversary tournament flaw. I have worked with the code extensively so that now two can battle simutaneously, but certain flaws are still being worked out. I haven't updated recently because of finals, but now that schools out, I'll be around a lot more.

Well, this marks the one year anniversary of my web site. I held the first official tournament today. Oy, did it suck. It turns out that there was a fatal error in my script, despite debugging, that caused everything to go afoul. Everyone was mad and I couldn't fix it since I was getting screwed over at the college because of my classes there. I wanted today to be one of the best days of my life, and that isn't a difficult task. You must excuse me now, I don't feel like updating this day....
