Poison Barbs. How much damage do they do? Should it really be able to kill a "Strong Against Toxic" Seogrim?

Yeah, I thought that seemed suspicious. Lemme check the logs.
Let's see, the attack power was registered at 100: 5 - 1. Okay, so it was strengthened by something... Spores?! It says that the nature check passed, but I'm not entirely sure where the nature was coming from.
This seems wrong.

While we're on the topic, my Brongoron just psuedo-defeated some non-existant enemy in a space its pattern doesn't even cover in my new battle?

Brongoron was placed at (9,8).
Mykanid was placed at (1,8).
Brogoron's Earth extend two to the left and right, so 9 + 2 = 11, which is a wrap-around (1,8).
I know about the mykanid kill, but the thing(?) at (9,9)

EDIT: and another, immediately after Bron placement: http://prntscr.com/bc3j84
It says I have 24 tiles, which only works counting those extra squares. If I 'monster information' click them it takes me to 'no such monster exists' and the mouseovers say 'Enemy (Defeated)'

Mints: Kirby is telling the truth.
I see the non-existant creature, too. There's a creature tile directly below his Brongoron that's marked on the map as being on my side and defeated (but isn't counting as a defeated creature in the battle's status) and has no name or number. I clicked on it, and it brought up an error message that no monster exists at that tile. However, I can't place any other monsters at that point, and previewing attacks shows that it blocks me from reclaiming it with my monsters' tile patterns.
[Edit]
...And now there's *another* phantom creature.

Where all these phantom creatures coming from?
According to the battle file, there have been Six monsta placements.
According to the debug log, there have been Eight. Two of them are phantoms without owner or ID.
I wonder if this is the Kokinora's wacky general? I don't know how popular that thing is. I normally just see Unscurs and, um, well, that's it. (Whatever happened to alternate Unscur general?)
Here's a log of all happenings at one of the affected coordinates:
I can only imagine that an invalid hash element is being created somewhere in one of these checks that makes a phantom monsta exist.
I need more coffee if I'm going to be doing this.
