I placed a monster in my fight with Lugiatrainer. Everything seems to have worked OK - but that there was some weird text that sounds remarkably like an error under 'You have placed Divinira onto the battlefield'. It ran:
Insufficient disk space; try again later Insufficient disk space; try again later returntosender: cannot select queue for mintman Insufficient disk space; try again later returntosender: cannot select queue for postmaster queueup: cannot create queue file qflAI4jaSd018957, euid=48559, fd=-1, fp=0x0: No space left on device
...But In the end, isn't it always the same question, and always the same answer?

Um, explain to me how "Out of disk space" is a textual error exactly? Seems to me that, well, I'm running out of disk space! Dunno how since I supposedly have much more megs left.
Does seem like it is related to mail, tho'. Why a memory error with mail, I do not know. Apparently, my host's mail server has been having some troubles recently, albeit unrelated to this. Perhaps they were in the middle of upgrading or took something offline? After all, if the problem were actually related to disk space, these forum posts wouldn't be going through!
So yeah, it is an error, but it is one I can do nothing about. I just hope LT is regular enough to know something happened in his battle. Maybe I'll IM him....
I just tried changing my email address and thus sending a confirmation email from the server, and it went fine. Whatever problem there was, it seems to be gone now.

Apparently not. Same problem again, this time against MetalCory at Blishurea, with a different monster (Terygrothia) and (as would be logical, I guess) with a slightly different queue file (qflAK9sjns030739). I said 'textual' because I couldn't see any other repercussions of the problem... Shouldn'tve though.

Well, when I hear (er, read) "textual error", I think to problems where a troop's name is displayed as HASH(0x10938a41) and the like -- y'know, problems with the actual text.
Hmm, so you saw'd it again, eh? This is makin' me wonder. I'm still getting emails from RE without any sort of problem -- I don't see why it would only be the SA battle script which buggers like this. It uses the same sendmail protocol as anything else.
Is anybody else getting this?

Well, I didn't see anything wrong on my end of the battle, or any other battles I've had.

Ah. So it'd be my computer being idiotic? Fair enough.

No, it can't be your computer; your computer doesn't send out mail -- the site does. Big difference.
If you ever see text being output on a page and not in an error pop-up, it's the server. Always. Well, unless you had a really crappy browser, but with a message like this, it has to be RE.
Or it should be. Problem is, I don't know why only you get it. If other Aussies had the problem, I s'pose that might explain... something? Timeout issues while mailing? Although I don't see why that would be happening.
And meanwhile, I continue to receive all of my mail from Shadow Aura battles without ever seeing said error.

Well... Yeah. I've never not got an e-mail from here either. Or at least, I don't think I've ever not got one. But that's just confusing.
I get the message on the page; everything else goes fine...
To sit on the fence is a dangerous call, but someone's gotta do it.

Well, it's come to my attention that when I choose to be e-mailed the next time my opponent acts: I never get the mail.
Hope that helped clear things up.
