Well, I've fixed my problem with no monstah deaths. I managed to kill off a few of my L2 troops and make it look like an accident...
Also, there appears to be a mix-up between Dragon_Kirby and draggy1234. My message about the Safe was to draggy1234, and Gobbo's comment on the land was to Dragon_Kirby. Context, fools!

You know what we need? A comment system in the battles, to tell the other people to please back out so that I don't get too many wounded points.
I mean, right now, I have fighting a guy with an army of 9 level 2's. He had to place 3 creatures to defeat just one of mine. I place one more on the battle field and I'm in the lead, though just barely, but I have killed 2 of his things already. So, now I have to sit her racking up wounded points on a battle I know he can't win. Yeah.
And to stay a little on topic...uh, I hate being attacked.

If you REALLY don't want to be attacked, don't own any lands...It's the whole point of this game, You attack other poeple to get lands too don't you? Think they like it? (unless it's Draggy who, apparently, wants to be attacked)

Umm...MintMan, could you please check the log on my recently-ended battle against Ben_star? I could swear it said 12 tiles to 10 that I was winning, but then it says I lost the battle!!!
On a side note, have you considered the work of h@x0r.Z? If someone is cracking into their own battle code and making it look like they're winning as I am the one in the lead...
...Honestly, I am getting tired of attacking Purquis, having a 12 to 10 lead on the last day, then getting a statement that I lost. If Ben_star had made an action on the last day, the battle extender should have worked...but it didn't, so I'm guessing foul play.

It think that you might be getting a bit paranoid there LieutenantEagle. The problem is becoming quite widespread so I very much doubt that it's foul play (unless of course it was a glitch which spread or something like that). Could it be the scoreboard at the bottom perhaps, maybe try counting tiles as well to see if it is correct next battle.
It probably means nothing but there seems that most if not all times one of the people involved was relatively new to Shadow Aura. There seems to have been a wave of new people recently, that or they have just all started making themselves known. Anyway I'm just trying to come up with other ideas before we start pointing fingers.

Okay, I highly doubt the battle extender is broken, 'cause that would mean that the e-mail updates would simultaneousl need to be broken, and I do not believe they are.
It cannot be hacking because this game is made in Perl. If someone did manage to get my FTP password, they would leave a very obvious trail.
Results are not just "Oh, you won!" Battles are recalculated every second you view them based on a predetermined script. This means that someone would have to edit the actual battle script to leak in an "Oh, I won!" condition just for their situation, which I highly doubt is the case.
When exactly did I say lands don't get attacked that often? I remember saying that bad lands don't, or that if we had more, they wouldn't, but I never recall saying flat-and-out that lands are not attacked often. Mine are not as much as some people, but I know there are some pretty hot competitions for some of the cooly/evily named places.

If your lands are being attacked to often, people, do what I've started to do:
Drag (by which I mean and meant Dragon Kirby) actually proclaimed that he would not stop attacking my two lands until he got them, no matter how often his troops would die since he could just get more. Well, that's some assery, so I responded in kind with this lil' diddy:
Not responding. Yeah, that's right, I'm not responding to anything until needed. The battles are not being accepted until the fifth day, no actions are going to be done on my part to the fifth day. Rather than wiping him out in three days and getting attacked again, I can drag a battle out to three weeks! Now, I don't propose this to all people, but, with the new battle extender, if you are being overwhelmed with battles, just take a break. You don't have to act just 'cuz you should, only when you have to.

That would be a major annoyance for the challengers.
One question on that, though. Would it be possible that, if this strategy were widely implemented, there would come a time when there would be no areas open to be challenged? That would probably be bad.

I highly doubt it. You have to remember that you cannot recruit new monsters unless you respond to every challenge.
Of course, there haven't been new monsters for quite some time now (I guess that weekly thing sure was buggered ).
It is theoretically possible, true, but then again, it was always possible to have no land challengable. Right now, I am delaying my challenges 'cause I am using the compy from work and wish to be active as little as possible, but I cannot see people delaying to that sort of extreme unless pushed as if by DraKir.
Here is something that I doubt none of us considered before, however. When new land is introduced, it won't just create more places to take over (as we all already know), but it will more importantly create new conflicts.
Right now, everyone has their ideal patches of land that they obsess over; new territory means new names and terrain features for every to have a go at. That should create a type of mad-rush into other parts and qwell some rivalries.... or just create new ones
There are, like, fifty terrain types in Shadora, and currently, around tennish are actually used on Grevja. New types create new troop combinations which should yield some special interests.
I just had to flee Urromos after, like, three monsters 'cause I had so many Adranipuls that I was running out of tiles I could actually place my troops on! That'sa really sad!

Dragon_Kirby, I think the point is more of stretching the battles out longer. You can still attack again after the battles are over, but MadGoblin won't be raising his wound counts on his troops as quickly by delaying the battles and there's not much you can do in the battle while he is delaying, unless you plan to put down more troops even when you are probably technically winning. Who knows, maybe you'll get so annoyed by having to wait so long for the battle to end that you'll get tired of attacking (which MG would probably be hoping for).
MM, when you do release new areas, do you have a way to prevent a single person from placing one troop on each new area right off the bat (and possibly getting plenty of safe areas)? If I remember correctly, at the release of the second batch of areas I could march troops out to unoccupied areas without a limit.

Uhh, Draggy...isn't there a thing like you can't march more than once per day, regardless of where the march is? I mean, I believe I one time sent reinforcements to a land, then couldn't attack that same day because "you cannot march more than once per day"...or maybe I'm wrong...
