Since I'm a big loser, I'm putting together a token list/class list excel chart together. This topic is for data gathering abilities. Everyone should come here and post their current class, and then what the prereq token was, as well as what every token they have learned or can learn since they changed classes. Of course, if I'm not allowed to do this, then I suppose I'll just have my topic closed/deleted. No biggie.
Since creating "Smite", I have to re-learn "Blast" (after "Wind", which is taking forever) but I think all of the Elements are acquirable, which I plan to learn before attempting to find the Class "Summoner" (I want my "Squirril Summon" )
I'd "Pick" an "Excel", but you didn't "Plant" correctly.

You know, this all sure would be easier if Emmy decided to just post a token listing per class, and then when I get bored on Monday, I could put it into a pretty excell chart and post that on my website which anyone would be able to see... Yes, that would be a lot easier that getting data samples from everyone...

You know, I never had a problem about telling everyone what the list was. I was just too lazy to list it 'cause it's so freakin' large!
I mean, fifty one classes? At the average of seven techs apiece less their elements? Pfft!
Also, I would even need to own Excel to make an Excel list, and Excel sucks! Wait, I wonder if I do haves it.... wow, I actually don't. Pfft, I got screwed on this compy.
Quite frankly, just look at the list of classes. Most of the classes usually tell you what it would get (Gee, I wonder what a Summoner learns), reason can fill in a few blanks (Artificer + Forge = Probably!), and some things should just be obvious (Necromancer's don't learn Dance ). What a class's pre-req is I hardly see how it matters as you just have to learn it anyways once you become that class.
Again, this is not a game, something you constantly seem to be forgetting. Just jump all loopy around the class paths, wherever they may lead. Obviously, if you want to be a Dragoon, you gotta become some fighter's of the non-barbarian variety. You cannot just go to a class and stop there; you have to constantly move to learn new, shiny techs.
Yeah, that oughtta cover my lazy bum's laziness

I wasn't suggesting you make the excel chart. I was going to, and then make it formatted into a web page, mainly because it would be helpful for people trying to find one particular tech. I'm not forgetting that it's not a game, but I still like to fiddle with things.
And also something else. But later.

Hrm, can't change to Necromancer so this will have to do * class changes to Diaboligist * Anyway, since there doesn't seem to be a list of what each class learns, I propose one be made!
Oracle seems to have...Range, Haste, Shadow, Light, Blast, Break, Disrupt, and Trap

At some point in the not-too distant past, MintMan (probably) said:
What the hel is wrong with all you people lately? It's like you've all gotten stupid(er) just to anger me, even though I'm always angry to begin with. Resurrecting old topics, asking dumb questions, leaving big- hey, what are those kids doing on my lawn? Hey, kids get back here so I can poke you with this pointy stick! *runs off brandishing a sharpened broom handle.
In all seriousness though, I'd think if you were bothering to post in a twofour-year old topic (good lord it's been a long time), you'd have at least read through it first and caught the bullet points. Since not, I'll post 'em here (five short posts is a lot to read, I know).
Crapload of classes, too much work to make the list, certainly too much to do by a bunch of people just coming in an saying what's in their current class.
Most of the time, the techs are pretty obvious. There IS a classlist in the FAQ. If you're interested in a specific tech, you could probably take an educated guess at what they are.
Okay, this wasn't directly stated, but can be inferred by the timestamps- people don't care, at least, not enough to bother with a class-list.
Of course, you're still welcome to pursue a list, maybe time has changed Mints' lazy stance on compiling one himself (not likely). Out of curiosity, does Diabologist have anything interesting, other than it's name which I had to Google?

Why let a little thing like being hard stop us?!
Well, so far I've got to learn the Curse Prereq. before I can get anything else, although I didn't have Shadow or Range drop out of my list of 'to learn' Strangely, I already seem to also have the shadow tech, but not the token. * uses Shadow on MintMan without a token *

Well, yeah, you aren't going to have tokens drop out of your learning list. You've already queued those, regardless of your class. I think that's specifically stated in the FAQ. As for having Shadow without the token, Shadow is the tech you're currently learning, correct? I think it's intentional that you can use a tech you're currently learning. You just don't get the token for use in combination until you've fully learned the technique, nor can you use techniques that actually require the token, like combine or change.

Lousy ancient topic; I didn't even realize have this stuff was new when I first read it. That's what happens when you resurrect the dead, and one of the main reasons I detest it so.
Of course you can use a token you have in your top-learn-spot; you can't unqueue that sucker, and if you couldn't use it, it would be possible not to have any techs to use. That would just be stupid, now wouldn't it? This is stated in the FAQ. * checks so he is not made a fool of * Yeah, it is.
Not stated in the FAQ is the thing about class-change non-unqueueing. I dunno if that is a "meh" from laziness or just the fact that you have some class crossover, despite not having the prereq token yet.
And are you sure you didn't copy and paste that quote from some other topic?
Diabologist (and no, they aren't circus performers. Blutty 'el, the devil ain't even in the details -- it's the freakin' name!) are just Necromancer/Warlock mishmashes. Lots of death and detriment. Sorry, but no sticks and, um, stick-things.
* changes his addressee to and uses LandSmite on Lugiatrainer for saying he used Shadow on me when an elemental tech cannot target any individual * Also, the entire reason behind not making this massive list was not laziness, but also ease of updating and that thing I have complained about so much on this site previously that I shall furthermore call it "the strategy guide effect." Stop being so born within the last two decades and try playing through something without your precious GameFAQs to babystep you through it, ingrates!
