And yes I did have focus and a cross token in my console beforehand...as well as only 1 combine token...

Looks like ya did.
I see you tried to put in "Focus" while it was still under the being learned catagory. If it's in the right combo-box, you don't have that token to spare. You can use its function, but it can't be put into anything else.
Additionally, you tried top name the tech Berserker, which I believe may be a FtRPG class, since there is a ton o' them.
Combine that with WTFMateness Paradox syndrome, a regular visitor of FtRPG, and you got youself a borked cocktail.

Should prolly do somethin' about that Cross2 error, the temporary tech that you gain while using the Cross token All that other garbagé is normal, tho', and you should have also seen an error for the name if you got any further.
So, yeah, don't try to combine tokens you don't have. There is a nice list in the FtRPG console that tells every token you possess for a reason, y'know.
The whole Combine thing also goes with the Cross2 token. That is how cross works -- though I should prolly make it delete those temporary techs...
