In this topic, every post must contain at least one FtRPG command, and if it's your first reply, it better be some sort of fabrication. Then after about 2-3 days, we'll have a melee and throw stuff at everyone!

...also note that I have no choice but to wait for a reply before I can actually participate.

Well, you are going to have some trouble with this. Not with the one-command-per-post thing because that is all that is allowed on most occasions, but you can only act so much in a given time frame before you are completely locked out of acting for a given time frame.

I mean, c'mon, I do not want people abusing my boards and killin' my bandwidth. Did you really think I would release something with possible interactivity without seriously guarding it against possible idiocy?

Well, I'm in.* uses the technique Strike on Ice * Nothing personal, Ice, just checking out my tech. Maybe the time it takes to learn them has something to do with how much they're used...
BTW, if you change classes, can you still use previously learned techs from another class?

Class changing just effects what you can learn, not what you know. Once you get something, you keep it forever. I mean, you better keep those hard-earned skills; you would not be able to mix everything otherwise, and that would just suck... in a mug.

  * volleys the Spear back at MintMan to see if there's a way for him to *not* catch or volley it back*

Hmm, thinking, I bet there actually is a way to make it so that he can't catch/volley it. If someone else besides Minty visits this thread, try throwing something at him and see if he can volley/catch both of them. My guess is probably not, though unless he tells us, we may never know if that actually has any effect...

  * catches the Spear in retribution *

Ha! Sorry, sucka, but I can still catch it on account of me being so ultra-fly.... ish..... *cough*

You are correct, however, in assuming that two-throws will result in a no-win situation. Only the last item thrown will count for the volley/catch, but you need not worry about that now since I already got my hands back on my spear.

So if two people were to throw things at you, then you'd be force to take damage from the first and only be able to catch the last one?

Is their even an HP stat? I mean, what's it matter if you get hit by something, besides the obvious embarassment and the like involved in it?

Edit: Never mind, that was kinda answered in the other post, which I checked just now. Can I ask, though, were the original post was at that explained the old commands? I can't say that I know how to make the extra text nonsensical stuff appear.

To add the nonsense text, you just type it in after the last command but before the asterisk. Everyone in the thread throw stuff at the game's creator!

Holy Carp, you already learned your Strike? Bad Boyahi! * in a blind rage, uses the technique Strike on boyachi without catching the Shield *

The text stuff was described before FtRPG really existed back in the Classics forum. Text after appears after, or you can use the double colon after the first asterisk but before the colon for your command, lik-a so:
*::stuff to go before:command targeting end description*
to add description before the command, which is pretty rare, but here just for completeness.

Health ain't a category; just damage is tallied. This is because the incapacitation damage amount can change.

Wow, I've finally used up all of my FtRPG commands for the week. Buggrit, that was only something like 10 or 15, too. I would like to make one request which would be the ability to use defensive moves (i.e: catch, guard, etc.) once you've used up all of your allotted spaces. Also would it be possible to create an account info page for the Forums similar to what you've got for the other games (since it is evolving into a game, of sorts) so that we can see a few things:

  1) The amount of damage they have, possibly out of the amount which it will take to incapacitate them.

  2) The techniques that they know.

Also anything else which might want to be made public, like their tokens, class, possible tokens, etc.

Also congrats on fixing the bug that let you use techniques while still gaining their tokens. I'm surprised you hadn't noticed that with Strike earlier.

What? No! You are supposed to be able to use tokens while learning them; you just are not supposed to be able to burn up tokens you don't have yet, which only applies to Combine, Blank, Marker, and Change.

An account info page is under heavy consideration; I first need to finish debugging all of the really freaky combinations, tho', like Bio-Transforms and such. It would not display damage, however, since damage only exists on a per-post basis. Once you rack up so much, you become unable to act in that post anymore.

Defensive actions are actual techs, like Guard and Ward. When you run out, it is your own dag fault. Actually, there are three ways you can be prevented: weekly usage, post spacing, and time spacing. The bigger a move you use inside of a post, the longer time span you must wait until you can act in that post again. Really big techs like Dance and Summon actually require multiple other posts to be made in between your actions before letting you go again (but since these things come bundled with continuous action, there is little to worry about). The weekly limit is not as big a threat as it seems; if you violated it today, you should be able to get two or three off tomorrow before being locked-down again. I suppose I should make some sort of bad thing happen for spending up all your usages, but... meh.
I should put up something that will tell you beforehand that you are out of RP actions for the week, tho'. In fact, there are a lotta things I gotta cram into that panel, as well as putting it on the standard post-viewin' pages. All in due time, I guess. People are taking more of a shine to this thing than I had thought, and for seemingly no reason, either, which, coincidentally enough, is the very purpose of the game!

Soooo... ha-ha, you chose to learn Combine, didn't you? Why the blutty Hel did you do that? I said in many places that it was used to combine tokens; why would you try to combine tokens when you only had one to combine? Hm, I guess I could put in a block against that, but that really causes problems with the list and all.

  * plants a virtual tree tree for redundancy purposes *

A few questions again which have recently developed.

  1) Local vs. Global inventory
Local is what? Within a thread? Within a forum? Within this currently existing universe? Assuming it is one of the first two and that Global means it exists everywhere, is there any way to transfer things into your global inventory (a transfer technique, or perhaps a normal command?) and vice versa? Another way to stop this from being overly abused would be to make it so that only Local Inventory can be targetted (and thus used in a technique)

  2) Thievery
Other than learning steal yourself and stealing it back, is there any way to keep your valuable items from being stolen? This would likely go along with the previous acton by making the technique "target" it to steal it. Also, do you just have to know what the person's got in their hands at the current time to be able to steal, or can you get a listing of stuff to take?

  3) Mix-n-Match'n techs
Considering I plan on possibly using this soon, I had a few questions... 1) What specifically do you need to do and then what would happen? For example, with your Rape move (strike/steal) assuming you had both tokens, and you wanted to name it "Rape" (or whatever else) how would you go about both (1) combining it and (2) using it?
{edit] Also, can you combine moves like plant, eat, throw, etc... with techs, or with each other?

  4) There is no spoon
Nor is there a fourth point. Stop reading.
