I knocked out Mewtwo. Will I have any other shots or is that my only try down the drain? Scratch was more powerful than I thought.

You're not alone. I accidentally KO-ed Zapdos and my computer crashed before I could catch Mewtwo. Luckily, Articuno was the only Legendary I wanted. But that's the only chance you had of catching it unless Mintman feels like granting you a special favor.

Just be extra nice and try not to annoy him. *smiles*

Whoa, you brought him down with a scratch attack? Was Mewtwo close to fainting or did you make a critical hit?

Oh, silly people. Everyone knows you are supposed to use Bind or the like on a Legendary. Even in the GB game, Poison is too unpredictable with the low-low catch rates.

Computer crashed? How did that prohibit you from fighting Mewtwo again? I mean, unless the whole battle went through, you wouldn't have gotten your flag to prohibit re-battling.

Oh yeah, you get only one chance, just like RPGs should be -- no reset button. That is the only way you get a second chance in the actual game, so that carries over to The League.

I never had any problems catching the Legendaries, cuz I had Unix(being the Poké strategist he is) come and help me out. Turns out, almost all of my attacks were too strong, so I just got some pokemon(forget which, bah) to level 50 and used it's weakest attack over and over on a Legendary, then used Ultra Ball over and over... That was with the first. After I got Unix to help me out, tho, I caught 'em all with no problems. ^^ I almost lost Mewtwo though, because I accidentally clicked HyperBeam on Draconix...good thing was, Mewtwo used Recover! Phew.

He had two >'s left and Scratch had only done one earlier in the battle. Turns out it wasn't even a critical hit, Paradocks was probably feeling ambitious.

What's the big deal about catching legendaries anyway? Yeah, it's nice if your the kind who likes to "cathc 'em all", but whoopie-do, you caught a legendary! Just like everyone else. Give me Draco, Vaper, and Hertz over your chicken flambe, frozen flier, or pro-mac bird any day.

Hey, there is honestly a way to fight 'em again. That's not hacking or reseting your account or asking for favor OR even making a new account or switching over to the other version. But I'm not sure whether you know who wants it out. It a protection kinda thing.

I look at it this way. I accidentally killed Mewtwo after tossing away a censored-load of Pokeballs, Greatballs, and Ultraballs.

But none of us can control the past? And besides, I still have my Zapdos which is only at Level 63, so I need to train that guy.

(I'm the type who tries to get them all, but if you can't, oh well, just train the six you have to level 99 and then laugh at the newbies who pay you shining yen)

Ugh, last thing anyone wants is for some noob to trade his or her legendary to someone (probably for a Rattata or a Caterpie), only to have them change their mind and whine on the forum about wanting their Bird or Mewtwo back. Okay, I don't think anything would get that extreme, and I must admit, if done fairly and correctly, I'd love the chance to do some trades, but there's way too much in the way of abuse that trading could produce.

Unless you had something else in mind? *looks interested*

*pokes LE* Such is the saving grace of having only 4 Pokemon. It's much easier to get them to the insanely high levels. Nebula, my Articuno, is level 93. Although if I don't figure out some other strategy beyond just the all-offensive pummel, even my 93, 98, 99, 99 team is going to get creamed by some clever Pokemon veteran.

  And yes, I can't wait to start raking in the yen once the newcomer players start waltzing into my new gym. *chuckles* Of course, I'm halfway expecting MintMan to downgrade my team a few notches just to be fair to everyone else. ^^;

ok, I'll get killed for this, but only a few of us use the forum anyway. In RBY,go to maelstrom. Fight the knight. In GSC, I fight Selestia in venom gym. She is gives over 11,000 exp and so far I haven't found anything like that around maelstrom.

Nah, you can says that. Everyone knows that the Venom gym is the best place for fast experience.

Yeah, the Maelstrom Walkaround is still deficient its high-level trainers, largely due to the fact that I am still so early in production of the walkaround (but that is going to end; I only do not work on things that are not getting hits, but according to my site's stats, the R.E. League is one of the most active things this summer ).

I still needs to get in all the wierd fights like Beatitude and the Paladin Knight. Those will be raking in of the XP.

nothing against you MintMan, I just haven't been to far past the old hideout. I'm still using the old one to level up my guys in RBY and working on that riddle.(edited to not give hints) I'll get that riddle someday, if only to find out you put another one in GSC, which i'm sure will come if it isn't already there.:D
