If you're going for evolutions, that's what the Link Stone is for. Mint'll probably implement something special to integrate the Hold Item/Trade evolutions.
If you're looking to get someone's Pokemon... *thinks* Hey, MintMan, is it even possible to trade? Something along the lines of having code that will swap Poke' pics and data from two accounts? Sounds way too complicated in my humble opinion...
Not to mention can you see the fighting that'll break out if someone traded their Poke' and later wanted it back?

I disallow trading on the grounds of illegal-duplicate account holders gaining multiple legendaries. Trading will only exist in form of time machine between your own two accounts for the editions.
I could make trading, but then I'd have to set up some stupid sort of trading board you'd post what you wanted to trade and for what. It'd be worthless, really. Who trades, anyway, for anything other than evolutions? I have the Link Stone, so you don't need it, especially since I'm going to figure the breeding formula from a traded-Pokemon vantage point (thus a higher success rate -- yeehaw).

Just the RBY part maybe... Remember how many Pokemon can totally own Mewtwo in GSC? "Hey Tyranitar, want some MewSTEW?" ^_^

Only if you give Mewtwo Psychic attacks. Most people (especially in GSC) go for the elemental combo of IceBeam/ThunderBolt (which works for an imported M2).
It lacks STAB, but with M2's Special Attack, it isn't really necessary. Tyranitar isn't much a threat to a non-Psychicing Mewtwo. I mean, its strength lies in, well, physical strength, not special-based and M2-effective Dark.
