Uh, not really. I learned from like three seperate books and a Hel of a lot of internet tutorials, hence why my knowledge is so odd. One good one that I can recommend.... costs about fifty bucks.... er, but another one is... you know, that one... from that series that has animals on all of their covers? It's by that guy who invented Perl or something. Yeah, that's pretty good... I think.

BTW, I have an interesting topic to bring up.
You know this one line of da rules?
"Your gym must always be accessable to anyone who visits. This not only means that the link provided in your R.E. League account must point to a page that leads to your gym, but also that a trainer may enter your gym without first being forced to battle, use a password, or solve a puzzle. Note that it is entirely legal to hide the location of a gym so long as it may still be accessed without a forced battled, password, or solved puzzle."
Well, guess what? The Myst Gym has broken that rule, to be exact. Unless people get REALLY lucky, they HAVE to fight the Imposter, then Elder, then Alycia before reaching the secret room. Isn't that...a breaking of the rules? For my sanity, please do not criticize me, I want to clear my confusion.
And there was this one other gym that forced you to do so too...I think the Flame of Light Gym. And the EliteCrystal Gym...well actually that's only one forced battle (the pattern of the URLs is pretty obvious).

You are incorrect. There is no code needed to get to the gym or password or anything else illegal.
Cannot any trainer just wander into the said location of the gym and click on the link? The link is always there; the trainer just must know where it is, but it is there and thus does not break the rules. It helps if you do know more about the gym, but that isn't everything.
This same thing happened with the old Tawfret Gym owned by Branners. His gym was in a little square of water. You had to venture the entire gym to find out the exact location, or you could just comb the pages; combing allows you to find it and thus it is accessible.
I haven't seen what EliteCrystal has done to his gym; it better not be illegal or he's gonna have some problems.

For the GSC version, EliteCrystal has this link that says "Fight Silver_Ketchum". When you click on it, you enter the Gateway of Sky. You must defeat that battle and you get a URL to advance to a next battle. This continues for seven Gates until you defeat the Gate of Mind, at which you are given the final URL. The URLs to the Gates are predictable, but the URL to the last one is nearly impossible to find. But then again, this can't count because if a person accidentally gets the link, they'll get to it.

Hey now, perhaps he didn't know. Perhaps you could discuss it with him before leaping to such rash measures? I know I didn't quite understand that rule fully, and I've been here for months.

I myself knowing the predictable address of the Elite Crystal site I skipped the Earth part but it wasn't on purpose because I noticed it wasn't in my favorites and i add every gym in my favorites. I liked the challenge myself what silverketchum did. You have to admit it was good.
