I wish she was my chicky. That's Celia AKA NeoKefka. She owns the IRC channel #neodome on irc.mediadriven.com (checks it out). I've just known her a long time from days of PBS glory.

You never knew I had a web site? I find that hard to believe. I mean, I only spam for it every quit message, in my channel #realitysend, in all my siggies, on the current PBS site, and any time I purposely bring up the R.E. League to say "People should go here!" Did you just not know I had this self-made forum or did you not know I had a web site in general?

At any rate, what she did was post a Team Rating. It is a fairly typical thing that is done in the higher-intelligence forums of Pokemon training (yeah.... the R.E. League is years behind them). I'm trying to find ways to get people to start using competent movesets without become a research-esque sort of site. I don't want to become one of those.... because I'm lazy.

Okay, time for team rating! I think she knows what I'm going to say; I'm a freak about near-stock sortsa stuff.
Look at all them Leftovers. Somebody needs some item clause. Over all, a near stock assortment of Pokes, but some of the movesets are something I haven't seen before (but I haven't went to the 'bots forever). Sleep Talk is a nice touch on Heracross; most I've ever went up against just MintBerry/Rest with it, and it's nice to see a Blissey isn't designed around G/S's Present fluke.

Although originality is low, if you are into trivial things like winning I'd give it eight million four hundred thirty-seven stars...... out of nine million. For shame.

HAH! Girlfriend! Kero! Hilarious! Oh, laughing... pain... sides hurting... oh the greatness of it all. Kero... girlfriend... laugh... oh man, that's good stuff.

Sucks, too, since as I read this, I was in a room field with people trying to get deep, serious work done and I could be disruptive.

But, MAN, was that a good one, Eagle. Heh heh heh...

There we go. Alright, now this may sound just outright stupid, but don't throw asterisks at me because I don't know this. What is the item thing all about? I mean like the leftovers, metal coat....see, even though I'm in the RE League, I never played a Pokémon game other than Pokémon Stadium 1 (which I played for 22 seconds of my life). But someone please tell me what leftovers do?

As far as I know, pokémon can only hold items in gold/silver/crystal versoins of the game. Leftovers restores a little bit of your hp each turn for example. If I'm not mistaken, metal coat doesn't even really do anything. You just have certain pokémon such as onix hold one and then when you trade it it evolves into a new pokémon(in onix's case steelix). I'm pretty sure that a while back in the forums I remember reading MM saying that he was going to make it so that pokémon could hold items in the RE jewel version. There I helped, even though I know that somebody else *cough* is going to come along and say the exact same thing over, in big words, adding the one tiny thing that I missed and act like they know all of everything and I'm a total idiot. Oh well. Who cares. I know that I helped and that is all that counts.
Edited after next post See I told you so. I didn't say the exact amount that leafovers recovers your pokémon after each turn. So what if I didn't know about the 10% increase in steel pokémon attacks? Please tell me that I'm not the only one that is seeing things the way that I am. Oh thank you so much MM for filling me in on all of the info. I would have never knew any of that. *coughNOTcough*
If there is something wrong, it's probably my fault.

The Metal Coat does do something more, SSS, but that as well. It also raised the attack power of all Steel typed attacks by 10%.
Leftovers increase your Pokemon's current HP by 1/16 of the max at the end of every turn that Pokemon is out.

Yeah, Camo, don't try postin' something like that again, no matter how true.
And for the record, smart c***s like myself don't get a lot of p****. We get golddiggers once we're older, and even they are tired and s***ty, if you go for that sorta thing (I don't). But, like I always say, as long as the hot a** b**** gives mad h*** then I don't give a ***** *** ** *********
  Also, I don't enjoy being called a c***.

Since this post originaly started as a team rating post I guess I should post my team too:

  Raichu @Miracle berry
  -Thunder
  -Surf
  -Raindance
  -Thunderwave

  Charizard @Brightpower
  -Flamethrower
  -Ancientpower
  -Slash
  -Smokescreen

  Espeon @Mint berry
  -Psychic
  -Bite
  -Rest
  -Morning Sun

  Steelix @Metal Coat
  -Iron Tail
  -Earthquake
  -Rockslide
  -Sandstorm

  Hitmonlee @Blackbelt
  -High Jump Kick
  -Mach Punch
  -Dynamicpunch
  -Mindreader

  Kingdra @Nevermeltice
  -Dragonbreath
  -Icebeam
  -Surf
  -Toxic

So what do you think? Some of my pokemon's unpredictable moves (such as Charizard with Ancientpower and Hitmonlee with Mach Punch) were gained via breeding and the other odd member od the team,Raichu, was once a surfing pikachu. Speaking of Raichu, there are two reasons why Raichu has the Raindance attack: One,to power up the surf attack (duh!). And two,to bring Thunder's accuracy up to 100% And,well..that's my team. It works for me all the time,so I hope ya like it.

Hmm, ok team, but it seems to be purely offensive, with a few recovery spread about...

Oh yeah, Rain Dance will halve Charizard's Flamethrower and make Morning Sun suck, you could swap Morning Sun for Return

There, my first ever team rate that was wasn't completely useless.

You should use this really cool attack when you think your gonna loose, but don't wanna admit it... you make the other person look away then turn off and on there GB really fast then say WTF?

Hehe, I never actually done this (:P) but had it done to me once, and I found it quite hilarious.

  * dies * Please tell me this is a joke?

  Exeggcutor:
Barrage - a physical attack is okay to have here, but make it one worth using. Barrage sucks so bad it might as well give life to the opponent, seeing how (being generous) its ave. dmg. is that of a 40 base strength attack. Double-edge, explosion, heck, even Strength would be better
Hypnosis - you always have sleep powder here. I'm sure it was high enough to have it.

Magmar: Ooo... this guy is a pickle...
FireBlast/FlameThrower- 1st law of team making: never put two attacks of the same type on the same monster. Granted, their are exceptions to the rule, but when so similiar to one another, its why the rule was made. Both are equal, but you only need one. FT for dependence, FB for power.
Leer- I see no real reason this attack is here. It lowers defence and (despite 'mar's high attack stat) you failed to give it a physical based attack. If it were a stronger stat-lowering attack, I could see its supplemental purpose for switching and whatnot, but, being as it is not, I see it as generally worthless.
Toxic- Another confuzulation for me. It's okay to have it on him, but being a guy who you want to burn ppl, do you really just want him to tox, have'em switch out and back in, and only have the cruddy PSN condition?
-Recommendation: Give it body slam. Granted, I said before about the status condition conflictations, but this one matches the alternative, not superceeds it. (PAR or BRN = good; PSN = worthless)

  Zapdos:
Fly - In no way will this attack ever be better than or comparible to Drill Peck. DP has it beat in all departments.
ThunderShock- An attack this weak should never be on any creature of this level. Frag it.
Thunder- If you have good luck, keep it. But, if you're like me, you don't have that chance to take. Slap on "bolt" at the end, and you got youself a fine attack.
-Recommendation: Give it Thunderwave. TW is quite possible the best attack out there for anyone who can learn it. As for the other slot, slap on a defensive skill, like Double Team, Light Screen or Reflect. My personal choice would be DT. It works well witht he FPs you'll be afflicting the foe with.

  Gengar:
  Lick- I cry now
Hypnosis- With its low accuracy and the lack of Dream Eater (it's only point), you should replace it with the much more handy Confuse Ray.
-Recommendation: Thunderbolt or Psychic for the last slot (which was lick, but... c'mon!) TBolt if you run into a plethra of ESPers on your journey and to compensate against MegaDrain's flying ineffectiveness; or Psy to bash Grass types that may give you trouble (assuming the psychic monsters don't give you more)

  Blastoise:
Bite- This guys only problem. Only being able to flinch those who are amazingly slow and having a low base attack power, I'd recommend you replace it with an Ice TM (waste grass-types as they come out as a hardcore sucker hit) or Body Slam (for the PARing. yeah).

Gengar: Wait... didn't I already rate this guy? ...
Lair of Mad Goblin - Home Lost Soul, a far from average Pocket Monster Fanatic Fiction, and my personal brand of home grown insanity...

Not Quite Heroes - On-line comic that's everything but normal. Everything from diabolical meat by-products to men comprised of mayo jar...

I will pay 40,000 yen to the person who gives me all those TMs (aka MintMan). Gengar can learn Thunderwave? So basically, here's what your saying.

  Blastoise: Bite out, IceBeam in
Zapdos: Fly out, DoubleTeam in; ThunderShock out, ThunderWave in
  Gengar1: Lick out, Thunderwave in
Gengar2: Lick out, Thunderwave in; MegaDrain out, DreamEater in
Magmar: FireBlast out, BodySlam in; Leer out, something else in

For the Sleep Powder thing, I can give a reasonable excuse. When I learned SleepPowder, my computer froze and I didn't learn it. If there's a TM for it, I'm willing to pay up to 7000 yen for it. (I have like 1.5x10^5 yen). And yet...my LV81 Gengar is still the one that does the most work.

I know it is a bad team (phew...almost profane there) but as I said before, my knowledge of Pokemon can be printed neatly on a postage stamp. And there will be space left over.

Gengar can't learn Thunder Wave; if it could, it would truly be demi-godlike. No, I remember from my PBS days of grandeur that it can only learn ThunderBolt and not Wave. Gobbo made it clear of such you must have just got mixed around.

And MegaDrain on 'Gar is always a good idea. It really cleans up those Rock/Grounds that so enjoy to Quake him.

And I would actually suggest Fire Blast on Magmar over Flamethrower. It is less reliable, but so is Magmar. If you are going down, you might as well go in a blaze of blasting glory.
He doesn't last long. Get as much use out of him while you can. Technically, FireBlast's average damage is much above FlameThrowers. The contest really comes in for HydroPump and Surf in which low accuracy HydroPump has only one more average point of damage than Surf.... this is all over your heads, ain't it?

Surf is better than HydroPump. You get 15 Surf and 5 HydroPump, and my Blastoise tends to need more than 5 water attacks.

I would have begun to start buying the TMs, but my website is now on Code Orange for hack threat, and thus I am backing up my files.
