Well, after who-knows-how-long, the R.E. League is finally getting its Gold/Silver/Crystal addition. Yes, the dream has finally arrived along with a little fun and a lot of trouble.
So if you recognize some severe errors, please report them even tho' I might just be editting a file at the time. It never hurts to be safe. I mean, I really tore this mother up. I pretty much had to rip the R.E. League in half and then jump up and down on its bloody remains. The entire codebase was rocked, and, even tho' checked, rechecked, and then personally tested, there could be some things I've overlooked (and some have already been pointed out).

Well, I have never played any of the pokemon games after blue, so I'll guess I'll give it a whirl when she is out.... Can you guys just give me a lay down on any crazy looking reptillian type creatures?

I foresee MadGoblin getting a Typhlosion and calling it Kamitachi. *grin*

Actually, in my fan fic, I named a Sneasel 'Kamaitachi'. Typhlosion is more of a hedgehog like creature while Sneasel (changing 'sn' to 'w') is a weasel.
Besides, I wouldn't raise a 'phosion. I think it's dumb and ugly.

.... Uhhh...I forgot about Sneas. And don't diss Typhlosion, I beat the whole game with just him. *grin* "Torch" was my Lv. 89 PowerHouse.

I just want to note that the attack Razor Wind (that sucky TM that no one ever used in RBY [or at least should not have used]) was called Kamaitachi in Japan.

Anywho, Typhlosion isn't that ugly. Quilava is ugly. So very ugly.... like Politoed, but better, because Politoed is the ultimate suckage ever.
*is still trying to think of a way to make the new, sucky Poli disadvantaged in the GS League that wouldn't be pushing it*
Oh yeah, if you're wondering where the GS REL is when it's already July, I've had a lot of connection problems recently. Sucks, don't it? So I'll try to get that playable demo paying homage to the classic REL up later today.

I just played the test version of G/S, and I just wanted to tell you that Raichu's Sweet Kiss attack doesn't work. In fact, it messes the whole thing up. Either that, or I did something really stupid somehow.

Nope, I just used it (on my off-line version) and checked the code. Everything seems to be in order.
By the who, if you find an error in that little diddy beta tester I put up, it will most likely turn out that I have found out about the error or I am getting around to it. Since I'm making it as I go along, you kinda have to expect that sorta thing.
But hey, I'm not complaining about someone making conversation at this seemingly dead board.

Yeah, I needed to re-set my cookies anyways. It might've been Reversal. I don't know, after it stopped working, I had sudden flashbacks to all the debugging I've had to go through in my life... *shudders* Luckily, I quickly realized that it wasn't my game, but by that time, my thoughts were long gone.....

Well, I've finally managed to get the G/S R.E. League out. No Maelstrom Gym yet, but it's all good still. I'll try to get that walk-around up ASAP.
Something I just realized that really sucks is I'm going to have to make new pictures for the walkaround. Not just for the G/S area, but in general. Those old things were quite literally made on a square centimeter of paper and supposed to last only a few weeks while I made the walkaround. Obviously, it has been longer than that.
Anywho, I know there are a few oddities in the G/S R.E. League, but if you find anything, please report it just to be safe. I don't want something aweful happening and have some accounts get wiped out or anything strange like that.

Well, here's one: Don't try running away. When you do, it leads to the RBY victory page, and does some weird things.
edit: Upon closer inspection, it does the same thing when you win.

Adding on to what Writer has posted,don't try winning either. Every time I won in one of the two battles it said something about some code,called me a hacker,and told me to get out of here. If anybody has any knowledge of me then they would know that I am so far from being a hacker its almost funny. Well...er...where was I....Ah,who cares,just wanted to report the fact that if we manage to win or catch anything it doesn't record it unfortuantly.

Actually, I think it said something about not being able to catch anything just yet. And when I did it, it didn't call me a hacker, it just went to the RBY victory screen and gave some experience to my Pokemon from there.Really weird.

But they're gone now. I removed that notice about not catching or doing anything. I myself have leveled-up my Poliwag quite a bit and even caught all the Pokemon in the first trainer area (got a Girafarig first try! w00t!).
As it turns out, all that funky stuff was caused by the lack of an equals sign in the value denoting the edition of the R.E. League (the INPUT field read value"gs" instead of value="gs"). But now that its gone, fight away!

Well, this is a bug that only affects me...But my account still says "Ash10, the" and it cuts off cause my account got all screwy long ago... Just never bothered to ask anyone to fix, and it really doesn't make a difference...

Wow, you have a TM called BubbleBe. Your account must have got screwed back on F2S, 'cuz that's when files would write incompletely.
Okay, your log-in screen is botched because of that faulty TM thing. No biggy. I can get rid of it easy, but before I do, I need to fill in that missing trainer class. So just tell me what you used to be (or what you want to be; it makes no difference) and I'll fix that right up.
