Meowth346 is notorious for using odd and quite commonly out-of-date Pokémon lingo.
Egg Moves are what he calls any move that can be bred to a Pokémon (since the Poke can only get it when it comes from an egg). Hence, an Egg Move List is a species unique list of breedable moves (outside of those moves it can be TMd or can gain from leveling up).
He also uses the term IV (Individual Value) over the more common DV (Diffrentiation Value). I, personally, use DV over IV since the latter looks too much like you're saying the Roman numberal for four.

Depending from where you click that Page number thing from, it will be or won't be broken.
It has to do with the use of a greater-than-or-equal-to instead of just a greater-than symbol. I'll have to fix it.

Yes, but a by-far less common one for 500.
Most people's eyes are trained to read "IV" as "4," but not "DV" as "505."

*Initially comes in to lend his word as another born and bred Azure Heights member, then notes these weird references to stuff like "move thru breeding" and "egg moves" then realises he's been out the loop so long GS makes no sense to him - I take it no-one players classic?*
Oh, and I've always called them DV's, never heard of them called IV's but then I always seemed to wind up reading reports made by Kero' anyway.

I'm not quite sure, Camo... I think he was referring to the classics as in RBY over GSC, but I shall have to dissect Ryuujin's most likely hastily written English.
"I" = subject
"take" = verb
"it" = direct object
that = inferred
"no-one" = "no one"; I don't think he meant that hyphen for any other purpose than compounding o_0
"players" = ["plays" | "players"]
"classics" = ["the classics" | "of the classics"]
... this one is beyond me. I'm just gonna take it to mean he meant "plays the classics."
I was one of the strongest advocates for RBY, but an inferior on-line battling system (since no one in my area plays anything I'm into, no matter what game it is) and an over-power in Psychics and the sole Special attribute make it slightly less appealing. Still, RBY is the best if played right (or played Fun Cup as most people call fighting with Pokemon you like over those you choose just for power).

(Heehee... XD)
Anywho, I did think Ryuujin asked if anyone played the classics (RBY) anymore. (Classics... *grins, due to nostalgia* That's what I always call the first season o' the anime... ^_^)
Anywho, yes, the game is much more fun if you play it, as Kero Kato put it, "Fun Cup". I never see why people pick for power, rather than because they like the Pokémon. I always choose Pokémon that I like, and they turn out to be just as powerful as any Pokémon that people would normally pick for power...
But to be honest with you, the only reason why I still play the my copy of Pokémon Red is because I like messing around with the glitches. ^_^; (There's no one around where I live who would like to battle or trade, and there's pretty much nothing better to do in my game...) Yours truly,
Miss Mai

Meee furom am nert maek tippin farnay!
Seriously, yeah, Glitch City rocks in RBY. I always wanted to mess around with the glitches to discover some hidden, ulitmate secret (like something with the Ditto attack JuniorTrainer(Venus), but I never have the time.
Still turn out as powerful? I would beg to differ! You must be goin' up against some pretty sucky people, 'cuz a team of "standards" has a 90% of mopping the floor with a non-standard team due just to its insane chance of CHing.

Sure, if you call the Elite Four pretty sucky. They're the only peeps I battle nowadays... -_-;
To tell you the truth, it's not only the Pokémon's stats, but it's also the level, strategy, and attacks (as in TM/HM as well as naturally learned) that make them killer.
For instance, a Vulpix at level 7 won't do much against a level 36 Snorelax, but a Vulpix at level 67 that also knows Confuse Ray, Flamethrower, and perhaps Fire Blast can actually flatten that Snorelax. (And perhaps another Pokémon that knows Sleep Powder or Hypnosis could stop Snorelax from using Rest before Vulpix is sent out to attack.)
See what I mean?
Then again, there is a chance that parts of one of my strategies won't work. In that case, you're right, and I'm screwed. Yours truly,
Miss Mai

Wow, Mai, you just said absolutely nothing!
See, level isn't a factor since when in tourneys, as everything is level one hundred. And yes, the Final Four is quite sucky. The freakin' Slowbro uses Wager Gun! Water Gun! Like Vine Whip, it is one of those attacks that in no way, shape, or form can be taken seriously.
As for strategy and attacks, I already said those: movesets. If you give your Pokemon some attacks, you sure as bloody 'el better have a reason for it! Those go hand-in-hand.
I know that few of you have a higher-education in battling (Ash10 I know has gone to AH at times, and Ryuujin grew up there), so I shall try to compress RBY fighting as much as possible.
Speed rules beyond all things. With it, you gain the ability to Critical Hit more often (BaseSpeed/2 out of 256 chance of a CH occuring every attack). When you have things like Jolteon or 'Zam with +100 base speed, you're CHin' 20% of the time!
Then for moves, Amnesia owns everything except for Razor Leafers (or those previously mentioned high-CHing Pokes). Therefore, the pool of used Pokemon shrinks dramatically into a small thing of "standards."
If you were on PBS, you'd know...

I'll be back when my tact returns. -_-;;;;

Okay, level is just about everything; attacks are stronger at higher levels (as the Pokemon's actual level is figured into the damage formula) and the same with stats.
Second, there is no such thing as a three-hundred level difference. A Pokemon's level cannot exceed 255 (even with a cheating device) as the memory used to store the level has only range enough to hold 256 unsigned values (0-255).

Wow you guys are making a science out of this aren't you. I'm pretty much new here at the R.E. league but I've played pokemon a little while longer. I'm frightened, as pokemon has died in my town and I prefer bomberman online to pokemon. Scary........ Teamsters, so lazy and surly..

I didn't make a science out of it; a few years back, some college students in Miami, Flordia, dissected the entire game through trial. Then, there was Necrosaro, whom used the Pokemon ROMs to pick out all of the fine curiosities of the game (he actually found a good use for ROMs!).
Necrosaro's page no longer exists, but Azure Heights is still there, although I highly recommend against going to its forum. I left it a while back due to it being overrun with incompetence.
Anywho, most places nowadays have less Pokemon penetration, and that's the way I likes it! I want the days of yore to return when only a page or two of Pokemon merchandise showed up on eBay, not the endless stream like it is today.
