In LOTGJ my sudwoodo uses lowkick on a Nidoking, since Nidoking is ground it takes x2 the damagae, but since he's poison he take x.5 the damage 2x.5=1 but yet it says it's not very effective inferring it took half the damage. Am I missing something or am I right.Don't Blame me It's My Genetic Makeup

You are missing something terribly.
Ground does not take double damage from Fighting attacks; you are confusing it with Rock type. Fighting is SE vs Normal, Ice, Steel, Rock, and Dark, not ground.
So with the Poison, you average out at half effectiveness.
