Just as the title says, END has been reborn! The addition of Battle Mode is very cool, and I am looking forward to what is next. For those of you who haven't paid much attention to what END has, this is the time to go there!

Well, Battle Mode is a funny thing. It took a while to make 'cause you are only seeing about one-percent of the addition.
Did anyone notice those two funny diamond-shapes at either side of the field? Those are the divide marker. Divide to what, one may ask? The enemy spirits and your own.
It is a very vicious cycle. What is Battle Mode for? It is how you get Big Shots. Of course, to win a normal Battle of 200+ hits on the enemy, you almost have to make use of your Spirit Wall.
Problem is, Dreamer's don't have Spirit Walls yet. I mean, they are coded, but first, you have to get Totems. Why can't you get Totems? 'Cause now we finally get into something that isn't coded -- Crystal Survival Mode
The way I have things planned out up until the first ever "END of the Month" update is Crystal Survival (I just got the hardest part, Custom Tiles, done last night, so the rest should just be DreamBuilder sorts of stuff), some Totem puzzles (or just one that gives the Nightmare, Dream, and Spirit Totems), Spirit Wall Change-Up (which may finally give some purpose to those Categories I made up), and then roll out somebody's Big Shot Battle.
Somewhere in there, I want the Journal Rebirth, too. It is amazing how far from my intentions that thing started of and prolly became the sole reason for lack-of-updates.
I think I can stick to schedule if I get all of the drawings made before Thursday, and now I can leave you all in the "WTF, mate?" that is all that crazy crap I just said. * class changes to Abbot for he is the high priest of all things END, but then realizes that Draggy is heaps superior, so then class changes into an Assassin to bump him off *

'K, didn't get all that but you may have a slight glitchy in this new game, in Firefox anyway, I didn't try it in IE, but when I hit the New Game button, it filled the grid randomly but did not reset the hit counters, thereby rendering the game unplayable. Obviously I could just refresh the browser, but I'd assume the New Game button is there to be used. Other than that, I like this mode.
[Edit- same in IE, which makes sense as it is probably a simple coding mistake. Additionally, it only happens after winning, before that, it works fine.]
Black and White do not exist, and shades of gray have long since passed on. All is now a full spectrum, and the most extreme closest of all.

Yeah, that's what Get Username and Password is for on the frontpage.
Back to business, all's fine on the Mozilla front. Hits, turns, and the field reset properly. I just tried it on IE to the same effect, so...
Ah, after the game is over, you mean. Yeah, it does do that. That wouldn't be a browser issue, anyway. Browser issues typically manifest in the form of small fires or.... Internet Monkeys!* everybody fears 'cause the Big Bad Net brings forth an InternetMonkey to wreak all sorts of mischief * Haven't seen him in a while...
But, yeah, I can prolly fix it. Must have to do with the game play not being taken out of GAMEOVER. I'd give ya a cookie, but... y'know... the Internet Monkey stole it

Gah, that wretched primate has crossed me for the last time. Give me my cookie Monkey! *Smites InternetMonkey and watches as monitor bursts into flames * Curses!
[Edit: Alright it works now, that was a pretty quick fix. Really, I wouldn't protest if that little button found its way to the rest puzzles as well, as I am too impatient to wait the extra second for my browser to load.]
I think my computer's trying to make me anorexic. A 120 pound high school senior does NOT need all these diet pills! Or Viagra.

I only put that button on puzzles without High Score Boards. I guess non-survival things could make use of it, but very little else.
I mean, in survival, you typically die anyway, right? The puzzles with the reset button actually have a definant end and don't go anywhere; the other ones send you to another page.
The refresh is inefficient, tho'. It prolly reloads a lot of the scripts on the pages Heavy stuff, man.

Well, I replayed it with the new settings, and the Totem thing looks cool. Just one thing...
About 50 turns in, I saw a crystal-looking object. What is it?
"Many greats in literature have slipped through the cracks of fame. If you don't believe me, just ask Anonymous."
Nov 1, 2005 14:39
Well... you click on it... and it tells you that it's the Totem.
Of course, the entire page explains the various mishaps that befell the END of the Month update. That Crystal object is, quite obviously, the object of Crystal Survival Mode. It should technically never appear; it is simply a placeholder graphic for totems or other special blocks that have no other image to use.
The idea of Crystal Survival is to last until the totem (or totems) appear, and then to drain the totem using a Baku Jar. This adds to your Dreamer Halo as either a Big Shot or a new component to add to your Spirit Wall.
Of course, no Big Shot puzzles exist, and only the Spirit Totem exists without any types to help you complete the wall. That, and there isn't even an area in your log-in to configure your Spirit Wall yet, and I'm not quite sure, but I don't even think I've ever explained just what the blutty 'el a Spirit Wall is even!
So, yeah, it doesn't have a high score page. It is just to gain a totem. The totem is supposed to reappear after a while (although shorter than the initial wait) if you happen to destroy it on accident, but that portion -- like the rest of the straggles of code that were rescued from the corrupted END file -- is incomplete. * uses Terraran to prepare for the coming attack on his severely botched update *

Yeah, but I wouldn't just use them just yet.
Obviously, END needs some clearing up. The dream Journals helped, but those have literally frozen in time. The Baku Jar only sucks in the first spirit in the row, rather than picking out the totem (that...SUCKS!!! One power level down the drain), and insteadof helping, Mint leaves an InternetMonkey for us all!
* uses Dispel on MintMan for giving us all the IP needed for the InternetMonkey to be let loose...NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! * If someone comes up to you and says:
"I'm telling you this because I love you, stay away from the food processor!!!"
Then you need to get your IQ checked.

wowch, the battle mode is annoying. took me five tries to actually get the thing down below fifteen hits, and I finally beat it on the 6th try. I guess this is more of a comment on how well I handle puzzles. xD

i like the new stuff very much, especially considering I got the christmas gift that went with it! If you guys need more power levels, just play survival.
If you have:
0 levels, you need 50 points
1 level, 100 points
2 levels, 150 points
And so on. The levels don't add up, they just replace smaller amounts. You usually don't need more than two, tho. Just in case you guys don't want to flip through the FAQ.
