Since I know that nobody reads the updates, I'll tell ya all that it is END's anniversary release date -- two years old! (How sad is that?)
To kick of the celebration -- continuing all the way until the first "END of the Month" shindig -- I thought it was high-time (not talking to you, Camo) to make END actually Netscape compatible. That's right: Mozilla, Firefox, ol' 'Scapey -- they all work with END now!
Now I don't even have an excuse for not playing or updating but I'm sure that I can find one

For the most part, it was compatible with Netscape. The only problem was with Avenge The Dreamer messing up the board. Except for that, there's nothing I saw out of the ordinary to switch browsers in order to play.
Would you care to elaborate what exactly you did that changed it? I mean, other problems that Mozilla caused?

Sometimes, VD and I could get it runnin' for one or two goes, but no puzzle could have worked, and the survival modes would have started out blank unless there was some way to keep the scripts going after an error, which is very deadly.
Aside from that, I simply changed everything since absolutely nothing could work on Netscape without the W3C mandated document object prepended to everything -- no Hall of Fames worked, Trick Shots couldn't change, no messaging worked, and the layouts were for crap. You may have had some wacked set-up that allowed a few things to work, but there is no way you got END to run to at least the point of Hall of Fame entry on Netscape. * predictably and much expectedly uses LandSmite on Kupoling_Katana not for the END thing, but for thinking something was summoned when nothing was combined with the Summon token to be summoned *
MintMan uses LandSmite on Kupoling_Katana

The grid has an extra row between each that will have spirits on it, the farthest right column on the field is wrapped around to the left side, it seems. In battle mode, the 'crystal wall' or whatever the extra arrows special to it are on the left, along with the turn arrows
The bottom left looks like this:
^ |__|__|__|__|__|__| <-extra row
V |__|__|__|__|__|__| <-extra row
< |/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\|/_\| <- firing buttons
As a note, I'm running firefox on Linux, but I don't think that would affect it any different than on windows. I'll have to check on my laptop.
Edit: Edited to make the ascii image fit better, I hope.
