Is it just me, or is there a serious lack of people being inventive with their trick shots? For the most part, all I've seen are modifications of shot types. I'm not one to criticise, as other than my really strong shot, I've not changed my others much either, and looking at a few others, I'm beginning to think that the Purger's original trick shot is the same as my current only with a different type.

  Anyone else notice this?

Also, as an idea for future implementation, based on your power level, you should be able to have more expensive shots. Or possibly you could allow someone to merge their trick shots together into one conglomerate shot, and just make two turns pass after they use it (rest/recharge after shot?) Just a few ideas for making it all a bit more interesting.

What you are noticing is in fact a problem, but one very different than what you think.

What you need to remember is there is also a restriction on how cheap your shots can be at the higher power levels; what you are actually seeing is something I thought I had done away with long, long ago, but apparently not Dot Mouth

The Split and Break attributes used to only be one-large each; you had to go in both directions. I changed this quite some time ago and thought that I had changed all of the member files as well. Well, I did not, so they are showing up as not having anything at all since they are unrecognized trick effects.
The scripts have not been messing up since I defined the old naming convention as equal to the bit-wise OR of the left and right direction for the respective shots.

So yes, I did notice that, but like many things, I'ma very lazy.

As for your Power Level suggestion... first off, never suggest anything... ever... YFFI. Saying something that I have already thought of or was planning on implementing could get me in a terrible legal bind.

Mainly, tho', that idea is stupid as it created power-houses. No dreamer should have any different advantage over another when facing the puzzles; Power Level, as it has always been intended, effects only the number of Big Shots a Dreamer may possess/use in Survival Mode. Plus, it has all those piddle things with changing up your dreamer and whatnot...

  A terrible legal bind?

I think you're highly overestimating your site's popularity. It might make you seem partial to a particular member, if he or she is full of good ideas (or is telepathic and is just spitting back your own ideas at you). However, you legally have no liability for implementing a user-suggested feature. By them mentioning it as a "suggestion" in a forum owned by you, on a website owned by you, they are abandoning any rights to use it as their own.
