Normal, you can use trick shots.
  Infinite, you can't.

Speaking of trick shots, new things to add! this should give the chance to drop the puzzles down even lower.

Well that would have been nice to know considering...I DIDN'T USE ANY!!!
I don't think it ever loaded properly...it took a real long time to shift from turn to turn...but yea, I was awfully curious why there was a power level yet no special powers....

Because any shots still take energy, you CAN run out of energy in any of them, even if you have to work hard to do it. Boggle

Shots do not take energy in Infitite mode, thus the name Infinite mode -- you have Infinite energy. Logical!

If you could not figure that out by playing each one, yousir are a moron.

The energy bar is still there on Infinite Mode due to the fact that, well it is there, but also because should someone use the Dream Builder in ways, one could opt to have no-cost normal shots and Trick Shots (with cost, of course), or some sort of special block that can be destroyed to rid of shot costs.

Slowness occurs because you do not have your Internet Explorer set to cache images. Do so. Not only is it really stupid not to, but it also buggers with END.
Before you ask, it is in Internet Options underneath Tools.

How did you have the patience to do something like that, Draggy? More importently, are you secretly planning to take over the world somehow using your superior intellect. I sure need to get playing. Too bad I'll be busy with college and work up till Christmas break. Dead

Well...I just block off a chunk of time for getting in a session of END, and then go for it with concentrated effort. And I'm pretty sure that there are others in the world who are smarter than me and may obtain higher scores than what I have now if they were to afford the time to play the survival modes. Sometimes the sessions do seem long; my last session on normal survival took 2-3 hours and the last session on master mode took about 30 minutes.

EDIT: One other thing. How come, to me, it seems like people are trying more to get higher scores on master and normal modes but not on the other survival modes as much?

On the topic of high scores, does it seem to anyone else like most of the highest scorers are from purgers instead of reapers in the survival modes?

That's because with Purgers you can get one large clump and fully power up your bar, and thus be able to use multiple of even your most powerful trick shots. Plus, once you get that filled up to the brim, you don't really need to worry about single shots and running out of power. The only time I ran out of power was on Master Mode once I get into the 100 turns.

A-whhhaaaaaaa? Using a tactic to win? Unheard of! I just shoot whatever looks good, when it looks good! And, really, when you compare my few scores with the number of times played to earn said score, it seems to work rather well.

Technically, both alignments get a huge clump for obviously defeating a lot of spirits at once; Purgers just get a multiple more.

Reapers, on the other hand, get more for defeating smaller numbers of spirits.

So, how it works out is the Purger alignment works out better for you if you are simply better at END, which goes hand-in-hand with why the top players of the game happen to be Purgers.

just to piss u off minty i think instead of just having one master ranking i think u should have an individual list for survival and puzzle seeing as though the top people are spread out between the two sections.

As for the people who get top spot in puzzle, im sure if i took an hour a puzzzle i can come up with the perfect set of trick shots per puzzle. it just ruins the fun of it.

and for survival im sure eventially if u hit just one spirit wrong it will throw the sequence and make it 100% impossible to survive much longer so it is a little bit luck

Blutty 'el, there are so many reasons I want to delete this, but you are just too much of a re-re to let this go unpunished. * most righteously uses LandSmite on rainman004 *

There is only one master ranking because even one master ranking is one more than is actually needed. Moreover, given the five or so different modes of END play, each one of those would also need its own board in order to be fair.
There are thousands of ways these sorta things can be broken down. There are no reasons to do any of them, tho', not even the one that is is currently up other than for Draggy to continue to tout his superiority over us.

And no, you are supposed to change your trick shots in order to get a higher score on the puzzles. That is really the entire point of them. And no, you couldn't find the "best" if you tried long enough simply on account of how long it would take you. Well, I guess technically you could, but no living human being has that much time. Your time would better be spend figuring out just how many combinations one puzzle allows...
No matter what, it comes down to brains, not an excess of time.

Same with survival. It has nothing to do with luck. So many time, someone will mention how they just got "unlucky" because they were swarmed with spirits. News flash, geniuses: more spirits mean more chaining, and thus less spirits.
The worst thing that can happen to you is getting sparse, far-apart spirits, but what it still boils down to is having foresight. Look a li'l ahead, keep a clear bottom/side, and you are set for survival. It is a lapse in such planning that screws you, not Fate as you profess.
