He has got number one on the two High Score boards right now. Sure, it looks like no one has tried to get a high Survival score in a while, (especially me), but still, the current Blizzard Dreamer seems to be a killer at this game.

Can no one stop him? Will someone be able to usurp his ultimate title on the upcoming Sanguine's Challenge? Why are baby penguins brown? Will Camo ever get a decent dreamer name? Pies are tasty? Find out in the exciting conclusion of Dream On!

231?! My highest ever score is 80 (and so close to returning to the board, too!) and I don't think its even possible to get less than 5 on Aurora's challenge. Oh well, if MintMan wants a new High, then a new high is what MintMan will get.

Five is the current high on Aurora's. Well, for Purgers at least; I do not know about Reapers. They have Pandemonium instead of Purify as their ultimate Trick Shot.

I suspect that when people are able to change what their trick shots are, a lower score will be discovered. In the mean time, the least you can do is tie five and secure yourself a higher rank before anyone else gets ahead of you -- being second to the top sure beats just plain being second place.

Geez, keeping the number 1 spot sure is getting harder. I don't know if 7 is my best that I can do in Sanguine Dreamer's Challenge. And everyone else looks so close too...

MM, how do you come up with these puzzles? Do you just put in the spirits randomly?

No, I think of some sort of pattern and idea, making sure to include several small sequence of solvitude.

They are not necessarily the best methods, however. For example, I thought I had designed Aurora's Challenge so that taking out all the Nightmares on the bottom together would not be a good idea, but it in fact did.

The challenges usually involve symmetry in some sort of way, and then I junk them up with random pieces to make 'em harder. Booyah!

I finally managed to tie the top score in Sanguine Dreamer's challenge - and the high score page wouldn't load! Fortunately, I still remembered how to do it again. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, poor END. It went so long without an update because of no scanner-ness... and no free time... boo.

Hopefully, I can turn that bad luck around. I need to get at least one update in for February... possibly two at once. I just need to get to Avenge because that is when you can start making your trick shots... boo-yeah!

On the Normal-Null/Omni puzzle, my power level keeps getting lower and lower, even though I don't use any special shots. I ended up using Purge shots by about 30. Whats up with that??

Um, maybe because all shots cost energy, not just special shots, thus what is so special about Infinite Mode.
If you ever play any of the normal puzzles, you will notice this very simple fact.

Yeah, that was an insane thing Draggy did, and the creepy thing is that scores will only get higher.

I know all shots cost energy, it just struck me weird that I'd run out since I usually am able to destroy enough spirits to collect more than what I lost firing the shot. It must have been because of all the Null and Omni spirits. Am I correct in thinking they do not give you energy for your shots?

No, they still reap energy as per the normal rules, i.e. more than one in a chain, but in only a fraction of the amount to all bars.

You are probably too used to the normal puzzle mode in which you line up your shots to the greatest destructive power after much planning; even then, you never last more than ten turns. Non-infinite survival mode has an extra little fun factor of having to go out of your way to line-up shots not only for maximum clearing, but to destroy large, solid groups to reap maximum energy yield. You might have to take a few sucky, cheap shots just to clear some less preferable spirits out of the way from a big, ten-group push and such, especially if you're a Purger.

Speaking of energy, what happens once a dreamer uses so much that both bars are depleted beyond normal shot costs?

Um, that is what the last update was all about. A special no-energy shot is used instead dependent on that Dreamer's alignment. Each is a typeless shot that does not even count as a space on the field. It is entirely absorbed into its target and will either push it or destroy it in its space.

Right now, I think the Purge is way too underpowered, so I think I shall also make it explode two consecutive spaces instead of just the space it strikes; thataway, it can at least compete with the Harvest shot.

Well, I'm working my way up. A big 225 last night, mostly thanks to my new trick shot which saved my butt more than once and due to the fact that I realized that rotating is only a good idea if you *really* know what you're doing...

...but then it's *really* helpful. Saved my butt more than once by flipping the level on its side. If I get bored (or pissed) again tonite, then I'll try to usurp it. I tell ya, though, this game is excellent stress relief. I was really pissed at my one friend, and so I sat down, played this, and went straight to bed afterwards a very happy man.

I thrive on Rotating. Especially in the first 10-20 rounds. I cleared the board about 15 times in a row with it. Yet the only time I came close to 100, I had to leave before I finished the puzzle, so I took a dive to at least get on the High Score board, and my browser froze! I never did get credit for that one...

Hard suck! No one should lose their game like that. * gives Battalon127 a virtual cookie *

On this quasi-note, I have oft thought of making a save feature for games, which are just bound to get longer and longer, but it does present a huge problem -- or huger one -- of cheating Slanted Mouth I would imagine that the problem of IE freezes, too, will grow with longer games.
