Well, it has been a long while, but I finally have Endless Night's Dream up... somewhat.
Er, yeah. Bad luck all 'round for me. What else is new?
Here is the thing: you can sign up, you can play survival mode, or you can sign up and play survival mode. With END, you do not need to sign up to play. It just makes things, you know, purdier.
Anywho, even though this game has puzzles reminiscent of Lolo's Adventure (in that they are things that you can sit and look at for a while, solving mentally before physically), there is also Survival mode. That is the bread and butter of END. Pretty much, do not die. On the Q-Basic version, I think I got up to seventy turns, but that was using some questionable methods. Yesterday, I got up to fifty-five, but then it turned out that the Hall of Fame did not work properly >.<
I mean, one of the reasons I made this game was from seeing people in the campus computer labs, wasting their lives away playing Yahoo's clones of other puzzles games. I could not help but think "Couldn't someone make a puzzle that was, you know, original?"
Well, this is the best I can do..... hey, I would like to see you do better.
.... that's what I thought.

I keep on getting error pages. First I went to sign up. Everything went smoothly until the very end when I got a page that looked like a typical RE page, except it said something error IP log and some #s or something. Then I tried the game that you linked from here even though I didn't get how to play it until I was already dead. I got a password pop-up going to and leaving that page to the high scores. Instead of getting highscores I got a fatal error page or something similar. Maybe it's just the ghettoness of the DELL...I'll try the Mac now ^______^
Well, I'm still getting error pages, but I'm supposing that those are just from construction. I love my Mac. I'm now signed up and made the highscore list! That won't last for long.
Ummm...how do you view the high score list? I is not being able to finded it(the list) or my grammor and engish tiping skills nor my spelin.

Well I signed up, it's oblivious what I picked as my dreamer name, My "ID" for my sigte and REL is a Boo (ghost) my BD name is Spiret (back when I could spell) so my ID for END (I can call it END too, right?) is Spirit Dreamer, So, for the picture thing, it says that I need to have a picture that applies with END, what does that mean, and were is the FAQ for END?

I keep getting the same IP thing. My computer still let's me play Survival mode though. I also signed up as Aquamarine Dreamer. When I started to play survival mode on it I kept losing quickly because I didn't know how to play. I still think the game is pretty cool now even if there's no other things to do on it except sign up.~Demon-Shark, Sharkbites~

Ninety-nine? Sweet googles of moogles! That is a lot of.... um, noodles? Yeah, that almight rhymnes and/or makes sense. To get that high, you must have learned a lot about the game just by messing around. For that, I commend you greatly.
That page you are supposed to go to is the Hall of Fame. It should run off of the same login you use when you first enter the game. Why all of you are having trouble, I have no idea. It works for me, it works for Goblin, and it apparently works for Draggy. I do not understand why it will not let any of you in. There is nothing mussered up about the page at all. I have been using both Windows 98 and XP to develop this. I think I am going to head down to a Unix lab and see how that handles (or rather doesn't).
If you see a broken link or something that it says should be there and isn't, that is because nothing is there. There is only sign up and the game, both of which I have tested again and again and should work.
So how many of you are getting JScript errors on the page and which of you are actually getting a denial to even view the page? Are you getting that you are not supposed to be seeing the page at all? That might be the old "www.realitysend.com vs realitysend.com" problem that people always bring up for not typing three extra letters.... um, and a puncuation mark.

I consider that a challenge! Wait.... Nevermind. I can hardly program the simple RPG games that litter about my site....
Anywho, about the actual game, those little arrow things on the side kinda intrigue me. I haven't yet figured out what they do (After all, I've only played survival mode twice), but they get me killed an awful lot. (And by awful lot, I mean twice... but... er... end parentheses) I kinda wonder what this game has to do with that yellow creature-thing on the splash page and in the movie. Okay, onto the game. The arrows at the side rotate the fields. You can do one rotation between shots without having the spirits progress at you. Therefore, turning the field twice in a row always yields death in Survival mode since the top of the field always has monsters. If the spirits ever reach the bottom, you're screwed, by the by.
Okay, I just had some other people test out the game. It apparently worked for them, too. I also checked my violation log, and only one entry appears under it, so I dun think that access violations were the problem here....

I can play the game (although I still haven't figured out the point of the different shots or the counter thingy that keeps increasing next to them) but I can't figure out the hall of fame. The message says I've been added, but then it just stays at that screen. Shouldn't it take me to the HoF or something?
I know my BD familiar sucks!!! I have limited internet access so I'm constantly losing battles.

I'm assuming that's a bad thing. What's that supposed to mean? I added the # signs just incase that number was supposed to mean something that could let people find me. I know nothing about that, but I'm assuming that it was my address, and I don't particularly want to share that. If you need it let me know and I'll get it, but I'm just so lost. >_< I didn't do anything wrong! There isn't anything that I can possibly think of that would make it say that...thinking hurts. From my experience with survival mode, I think that switching shots (the symbol with the shape-thingy next to it represents your type of shot) can help. Apparently, if you shoot the spirit with the same type shot (like shooting the blue spirit with the dream shot, the blue symbol), it "pushes" the spirit backward along with other like spirits until it reaches the top of the field or it hits the other spirit type. Then all the spirits next to those are, ummmm.... destroyed?

Huh... that should've been obvious (about the yellow guy). The new "animation" things on the game help out a lot. I honestly couldn't tell what was being exploded before. Also, in case none of you have noticed, if you click on the "creature things," it'll give you some info, telling you which kind of shots push or destroy it.
And I figured out the rotate thing the last time I was playing it. That's a nice touch to the game, Mintman. *applause*

Well, Sassy, I have no idea why you are getting that page. The only way you should technically reach it is by accessing the high score page from one that is not where the puzzle is; it is probably your stupid browser with some gay security measure. I shall have to add faulty access points to my security logs in addition to user name and IP.
As for the pictures, of course there is nothing in the FAQ; it hardly even exists. What fits in with the game is anything that looks like any of the other few Dreamers that have been displayed yet: Gale above, Aurora from the movie and Purger sign-up, Vulpine from the movie and Reaper sign-up, and Avenge The Dreamer black-and-white from the current cheap chapter image on the main page.
Power stealing? You guessed it. Later. Much later, in fact, as the Baku Jar is not even being introduced until some time later in the storyline.
Not seeing stuff? Funny. I added a preloader. I know that sometimes, XP's messes something awful and will not cache any of the images; I have yet to find the cause or how to prevent it.
Oh, as for the High Scores page, I have not made it yet. In fact, they were not even being recorded well until earlier today. There was a problem with a score erasing every score below it that I had trouble tracking down. It was trouble even more so because I kept getting higher and higher scores, thus taking more to get me onto the list (each person only gets one entry, thus their highest). I finally got the script working with a score of seventy-two (hooray!).
No matter what, you can expect to see a lot of stuff Thursday (when I get out of classes at noon). 'Tis strange how from Monday to then is completely swamped for me
I have to make the Sanguine Dreamer's Lesson, which is a tutorial, the Gale Dreamer's Journal (just one entry), and the log-in screen. With any luck, those and a whole slew of stock avatars will be on late Thursday.

Hey MM, do the blocks next to the dream/nightmare symbols do anything? I'm guessing that they'll probably be used to fuel stuff like special moves in later versions, but is that your plan for them?
