1st MM needs to get some more unhappy smileys 'cause I will be needing them.
2nd I'm sorry that I even mentioned anything about that person.
3rd I have no idea what so ever what MM meant when he was explaining antisocialism(is that a real word?). All I got is that I'm probably charming and like to kill stuff. That is true. I would like to kill the annoyingly short dude that keeps following me around in the hallways and saying that he is going to buy me some black hair dye. I don't actually want to kill him, but if he bugs me in band again he is gonna be eating textbook. Yah...
4th We are all getting off the topic again, aren't we? Maybe just a little.
5th This is a pretty short post, isn't it? Maybe not, but it isn't unreadably long.
If there is something wrong, it's probably my fault.

Getting back on topic, look at my post count. That is how school makes it hard for me. I can't get to post here. I hate school. I barely passed math .. ah, the list goes on. Bottom line: school is a waste of time.
Oh yeah I'm a super girl!

Well i think i feel a lil better got more on track in school.

The only thing im concerned about is the engineering class, i get to try Electronic engineering, and Civical engineering (building structures).

If I learn how to program games and stuff i think i'll stay with Electrical for the rest of my 4 years....

Hmmmm.....but what is required to learn things like C++?

i bet this post was a stupid one....well maybe...

Electrical Engineers learn a little C++ in their junior year or thereabouts.

I would recommend that, if you are a good scholar, to take something higher than Civil or Electrical Engineering. Paired with Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and (especially) Civil are the bottom-feeders of the Engineering world. They are a lot more physical and a lot less conceptual if I have been informed correctly.

School, the sh!t that your life begins with, and the sh!t that prepares you for worse sh!t later in your life. I am one of those kids who is very advanced for his class. I am 13 and in 7th grade and I am doing 9th grade work (mostly, but then again my entire class is doing atleast 8th grade work). What is holding me back is that I have a memory about say this long I--I. I couldn't even remember if I broke my arm or my leg the year before that once... You get the idea...

Socially I'm not doing very impressive, I am undoubtedly a geek, fortunatly I do have some friends, most of which are very popular in the school and these are the people that save me from being a complete social break down.

My schools claim to have all geniuses, so when you are bored stiff in all of your classes, it pretty much doesn't matter cause your not going up neway. Plus our teachers are jackasses that associate intelligence to doing homework.
I'm in adv. Eng 9 (was in reg. Eng. 9 cause of HOMEWORK) were doing the oddyssey. We stop about every minute to explain what has happenned in the book. ITS NOT THAT COMPLICATED!!!
In adv. Social Studies 9 we actually have meaningful debates and a teacher who is smart enough to not be arrogant in his views about the world.
In Spanish 2 I don't listen to one word that crazy bleached hair idiot says, I do my homework for the previous two classes in it, and I pass mediocrely. We've been reviewing for the whole semester so far. Realize we are in block scheduling and we only have each of these classes for half a year. We may never get into the Spanish 2 book before that class is over. I will have a credit of Spanish 2 without leaning anything not in Spanish one. plus I have a study hall.
You must realize the only way I survive is with my social life. Plus, so many people are being branded "gifted" that my only way to truly shine is through football and wrestling. And I could easily get valedictorian or saledictorian in a few years if my only competition wasn't a kid with no life and a girl the same.
Plus I'm not half as smart as most of you so I wouldn't really show up anyway. I just have an artistic viewpoint. Oh, that reminds me, I signed up for art this year and never got it.

it's really not that hard after you learn the concept really...

As for C++ im making some small programs the do mathmatic equations....not much else really. don't expect me to be doing work like Minty for some time -.-

in fact I can't seem to compile my files on some of the things i make for some reason... which makes me have to rewrite it... Bah...

But hey, i wanted to learn how to build stuff so i gotta stick with it i guess....

Deathman, guess what? I have an even SHORTER memory span, something like this: |.|

Actually, the only class that I actually find hard is Earth Science at the current moment. Stupid rocks...I mean come on, he puts up a rock on this thing, which in its turn puts it onto the class TV. Then we must identify the rock! That class, I have my lowest grade (90.7%)

School isn't actually ruining my life TOO much...however, I get a lot of homework now (these high school classes have lots of homework, especially if you take them in eighth grade). Then again, I never have the time to start learning Perl, which, if I did, would greatly help me. Uhh..wait a second..MintMan, does GeoCities allow such programming as Perl?

Earth Science? Ha! I had that last year. The test took 3 days, and we were working with partners. Go figure. Nobody knew what they were doing. She told us that we could use any notes on the test that we wanted, but none of it helped at all. Now that I think about it the whole thing was kinda phunny. I mean, the whole concept of learning about rocks. Ah! I don't know what kind of rock that is! Oh, the pain, the agony. I'm dying Ple...ple...please *cough* please help me. Come on, get real. Sorry if I offended any of you rock lovers, but that is just my point of view.
I better stop this post and other post in this topic or I'll be here forever.
In case anybody cares, Billy is still hasn't given up on telling me that I should dye my hair black. He told me that my sister called him a dwarf earlier this week. Take that Billy!

Geocities? Yeah right! The only free provider that allows CGI is Netfirms, and they have a ton of restrictions on what you are able to do with it because of their advertisements and what-not (i.e. you can't do anything like BD's imported scripts or anything).

Pretty much, free host equals no CGI. It is a limited commodity since it can be abused so very easily. Why do you think I finally gave up and paid for a host? Because my last two CGI providers bombed out

Darn it SSS, atleast you learn science. My "science" teacher has been teaching us about trees for the last 2 years. Even when she taught language she took an entire quarter off to talk about trees, and another quarter to talk about blue berries. Now we're learning hunters saftey with her and I can't tell you how little I care about it. I'm a freakin vegetarian, and I think hunting is pointless, and I think that she should atleast respect that some kids would rather learn science instead of learning how to hold a gun. AND THE WORST PART IS, IS THAT IT COUNTS AS MY SCIENCE GRADE ON MY REPORT CARD. ARRRRGGGGGG. I could kill her... Besides I want to go to Highschool with some knowledge of real science... *sigh*

True if you ARE a vegetarian they should respect it............i can only imagine how horrible it is at school lunches for you, but hey, that isn't REAL meat

Yah but I've gotten over eating with people who eat meat now, it's their choice to be the way they are and I'm not going to spend to much time complaining about it. The hardest part of lunch is watching my friends choke over the "food" that our school chef thingy "cooks" for them.

So that American food thingy is actually true? I thought that was just in movies to make us hate the American ways even more!! Well at our school, we get the choice to bring our own lunches from home, go home for lunch, or buy various things like chips, cokes, pies, sandwiches and all that crap from the school at overpriced rates.

Well most school lunches in America do suck, but there are the lucky few who go to a school that serves a good lunch, i went to one school that served Dominos pizza..then to another that served soggy french frys and a hanburger that looked like........well...crap... and the occasional green hotdog

The school im currently going to doesn't really have a lunch system as it is...kinda brand new. you must bring in your lunch everyday and buy stuff from the vending machines or snack cart

Sophmores get to go to the nearby college to eat... sucks to be a freshman
i bet this post was a stupid one....well maybe...

Oh and Minty i have a question, How the heck does making programs that solve equations help me actually make a program/game?!?! i just wanna make even a simple game....or at least do something...

Me, learn, in science class? *looks around akwardly* Nobody ever has the slightest clue what is going on in her class! Once she lost my 3 page science fair report and luckily I had it saved on the computer. Another time she lost one of my worksheet and gave me a zero for it, even though I knew I turned it in. Guess what? It turned up about a month later, luckily before report cards. Earlier this year she had us copy this chart from the book onto a peice of paper for homework and I was the only one that had it done because nobody else heard her say it. She only mentioned it once and she gave one of those teacher speeches that just makes you want to roll your eyes and groan. Most of what we do in class is just listening *cough* to her go on and on about stuff that has nothing to do with the section, at all! Sometimes I've come into class and she starts to ask us stuff about the section that we were supposed to have read last night and I'm totally clueless. I'm not the only one. I'm probably the only person in my class that has half a clue what we are suppose to do, so don't tell me that I need to be more responsible. I wish I would learn, but mostly I just get lost...CRAP! Science fair report due Monday! 3 pages typed and I've hardly began my research! I'm so dead

Wow, I really see what people mean about worthless posts now. Thing is, just do what you always did when long, boring posts or worthless ones were made: don't read them!

Anywho, learning programming for equations is how you learn how to make games. Keep in mind that programming courses also have nothing to do with game-making -- nothing does. You have to learn that stuff on your own.

Don't worry, msanis. I'm reviving this once again. If MM is gonna do anything to anyone, it's gonna be me, oh well. Anyways, I don't even know how to start a javascript code. That's how bad I am at it. Also, I haven't even seen a C++ code yet.
