Just a year ago, we were still living a dream, unaware...

Unaware that hours later, we would be torn from our petty differences and turn our attention towards the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and rural Pensylvainia...

May the lives lost a year ago never be forgotten!

Edit: On a lighter tone, I think it'd be cool if today the news was inturrupted with announcments that Bin Laden has been located and that he's surrendered alive.

I got news for ya, LT. If any non-terrorist ever found Bin Laden, there would be no alive to speak of.

Yeah, an entire year gone by. I wanted to put up my grey style sheets like I did last year for it, but I can't find them anywhere, but I still changed the splash page.

Know what's really creepy? Hearing about things that happened on September 10th. On CNN, they were airing weather forecasts and other news stories. They even showed some stuff that happened immediately before the attacks. It was kinda creepy just seeing how happy everything was.

Ironically, I remember stepping outside on the morning of 9-11 last year completely overwhelmed at what a beautiful morning it was. Normally, mornings don't make that huge of an impression on me, but on that day, I was convinced that today was going to be a perfect day. Was I ever wrong. Such an oddly tranquil day for what was to come...

I hope that when we find Bin Laden, he's been blasted to pieces by one of our soldiers. I hope he suffers on Earth as much as he'll suffer in the afterlife.

Amen. May Osama bin Laden be forever tortured in hell, if he is dead, and may he be murdered if he is alive.

The way it happened, I was just having a regular day, prepared for school, then I run downstairs. As you may [not] know, I watch the news everyday before school...this time, the word "Mamma mia" was all that you could get out of me for a couple of minutes.

I think MintMan should join the army and prove himself in something other than website making. Or...the few, the proud, the Marines.

I think we're all contributing by merely living. By recovering and being able to carry on during a time when terrorists were trying to bring us to our knees.

Besides, who says that contributing such a simple service like this website isn't enough? While it doesn't help the war effort or the lost, it certainly brings at least a few of us together.

We should all remember that day, but Camo is partially right. I wonuldn't even watch the news for the longest time because it was so depresing. It is wonderful that everyone cares and all, but it shouldn't be mentioned so often that you can't stop thinking about it. I remembered it ever single day straight for half a year before there was one day when I didn't have to think of all of what occured on that day. LE, ummm...right idea, but uh...nevermind.
If there is something wrong, it's probably my fault.

You gotta admit though, those smelly afgans are heaps better at war tactics, they tack out 3000 or somthin of important business men in America, and the merican's return fire, killing s***loads of inocent people and a few goats along the way. And who does this bloody president think he is, going after Saddam... What better way to divert the fact he don't got biny yet . All cause his making bombs, Well if the American's didn't want them making bombs, why give them the technology? Well all I'm saying is that America is in a f***ed political spot now, and its ok to sit back and lough every while and then.

Wow, you really don't understand any of the policital makeup of this all, do you?

We're going after Saddam which is something a long time coming. We gave him grace the first time we captured him and let him go, but with repeated times of refusing the weapons inspectors and increasing tensions in that whole area, we're bloody tired of it and will just waste him. A lot less for the world to worry about, quite frankly.

It isn't because we can't find Laden that we're going after that fgt. We just can't find Laden because he's in a freakin' desert. There are far too many caves for that hmo to hide in like the coward he is.

And we didn't mean to give him that bomb technology. He took it when he worked over here. How were we supposed to know what he was going to do with it?

Jeese Mintman, you act like you are them Well I wouldn't call Binny a coward, if everyone in the US, or the UN for that matter was after me, I'd probobly go to a life of cave living.

I am with MintMan. Although I still think that Osama has probably died of boredom by now. I know I'm only a teenager (do not quote this line), but I understand politics a little. Hmmm...okay very little.
