What was the game you have spent more hours on all up and how many hours?

Well for me, its Powerstone 2, once me and a group of mates played that non stop for a weekend when I just got it, and I still play it all the time, I reckon I have spent about 5000 hours on it!

Well, for me most of the time I beat games quickly. So it would be...well...Pokemon Blue...To get all 150(I did it!). That sounds pathetic...

I usually finish my games pretty quckly so i'd say the game i played longest for a console would be......the original super smash bros.

the longest game i've played (so far) on a handheld is GoldenSun for GBA I still haven't beat it....in second would probably be the pokemon games
i bet this post was a stupid one....well maybe...

For an RPG, I'd prolly say FFVII, but that's just 'cuz I like it so much that I play it often.
But my all-time record probably lies on Snake, Rattle, and Roll, an old NES game that was quite literally impossible, even with a Game Genie.

Hey! I remember that game! That was a really hard game though... I think I would always get to level five, and that was about it. How many levels did that game have? Wasn't it six? Man, that was a hard game. It took almost everything I had just to beat the first level and then even more for the second and beyond...

By the sounds of it, you guys havn't played Powerstone 2, well it is an up to 4 player fighting game full of action, the charicters are all original with there own powerups wich you get after collecting 3 powerstones, in the game you gotta mix items to get new items, but sometimes you get duds and the way you get items you can keep is to play the adventure mode there is over 121 items not including combo cards and element cards so far I have everything exept the angel wings :( and one essence card (I'm guessing I need the essence card to get the wings...)
It is a bugger that you cannot play multiplayer adventure, otherwise I'd have all the items for sure! But its pretty fun playing arcade (up to 2 people) But the one I only ever play is original mode which gives you level select and 4 players.

You guys probobly do not understand what I am raving on about but it sure is the best game ever and the only way to find out is to play it, but on your first few games play it on difficulty 1 or 2 (that was hard for me when I started) but now I can take out 2 lv 8 enemies (hardest level) and 3 lv 7 enemies....
  Just go play it NOW!

How the bloody Hel are we supposed to play it when you never told us what system it is for, and if it only has an arcade version, then I am most thoroughly screwed as all of them in my area have sucked-up considerably.
And I think Snake Rattle and Roll had more than Six levels, Writer77. I'm pretty sure I made it past Six with the Game Genie; it depends. What was the level with all of those cliffs?

Hmmm... Powerstone 2... Sounds completely wicked... XD Now, I'll have to ask the same question as Mint Man: What system is it for?

As for the games I've played, mostly the Pokémon versions, but the Legend of Zelda games (especially Link to the Past) are pretty addictive. Possibly even more so than the Pokémon games. ^_^ (Although I have still yet to actually get past Bottle Grotto in Link's Awakening... *mumbles* Stupid key... -.-)

I have no idea. I think the last level I ever got to was a level that was red. Which doesn't really tell to much, so I also remember that it had a lot of complicated jumps. Which is mostly every level too. I don't know, but it seems like in that level, the sound that happens when you fall off a cliff seemed louder than usual. And I think that PowerStone is for the Dreamcast.

Well considering I only have one game console - the Dreamcast it means its on the Dream machine!
Its wiked, thats actually an understatment, but some of my friends hate it (only cause they can't beat me!)
When you play just sit down with a mate and play 2 on 2 teams so you get the handle of it and so you learn to cope with all the explosions and combos going on!
Link to the Past? Before my Gameboy went kaboomy I borrowed that, it was kinda easy, but its nothing special, get all the shells and you get a special sword, thats about all the secrets I remember, but the boss was this black shadowy guy and the ending is the worst ending ever! The game though, its not bad.

Link to the the past's ending was nothing compared to the horrible TO BE CONTINUED i got.......if anyone knows when the sequel comes out please tell me.

I dunno, but I suggest restarting the game and doing absolutly everything, the best RPG games are a lot longer when you complete them 100% so that should give the game a little more lastability, and you might find out some of the secrets of the story...

  Good luck in your game.

Actually, that Golden Sun thing had absolutely nothing to do with this post. It had nothing to do with the longest play at all.
And doesn't Golden Sun say on it that it is the first chapter? What I want to know is how you carry over your data; it's a GBA game! It's not like you can just pop in your memory card and get the data... I wonder....

well actually i don't know either......maybe something like the code thing from Zelda oracle od ages/seasons.

the game was a great game but it's one of those games that has an ending that sucks beyond compare, basically since your getting the game i doubt you'd want me telling u how it ended........even if the ending sucked.
im pretty sure there are other games that had crappy endings before but it's just it left you on a cliffhanger like some tv shows do, i promise you though it's a really great game except for the bad ending.

as for putting this post in the wrong place......i thought it was related because i posted something about goldensun before in this topic, not to mention i was a little pissed and wasn't thinking right.

Since we are currently on the subject of RPG's, the other day in a 2nd hand shop I saw Mario RPG! I thought it never got released in Australia, so I grabed it for $10 and nicked my Super Ninto back off my grandparents, its a cool game, Bowser is one of your team mates, now how weird is that?

Yeah, Super Mario RPG is one of the best RPGs for SNES. The only real problem was that you could only go up to about level 30 or so. All the minigames that it had made up for that though.

My time's sour by comparison then...

...One of my FF7 games registered 80 hours on it's game timer, other 2 profile had 40 and 50 hours respectivly.

...I've probably clocked 500+ on Diablo 2, can't be sure though since it doesn't record your game times, and the actual time spent playing may be quite a bit shorter since it's an online game - I think that's my biggest.

I've made 3 accounts on Pokémon, but none of them were over 60 hours total.

*Is currently doing a replay of Deus Ex, I've probably clocked about 80 hours on that altogether - my 4th replay of it and still hasn't lost it's coolness - if you havn't played Deus Ex then you must have been living under a rock - before you look at the picture as say "Oh no not another 1st person shooter", don't, - it is NOT a 1st person "shooter" - I dare ya, just try going shootering, you'll never live to your first mission assignment - it's the only occasion I've gone out and bought a game entirly on word of mouth, without so much as seeing a review - and I didn't regret it, the reviews just don't do it justice - anyway enough rambling ^_^

Hmm.... maybe since I'm making posts here, I should actually respond to the entire point of this topic. Let's see..... most hours on a game.... Crap.... I've spent a lot of time on a lot of games, and back in the day (about 10 years ago...) I would play games pretty much constantly, so it's hard to tell, really. But, from what I remember, it would probably be FF7. The first time I played it, it lasted with me for about 70 hours I think, and then I've got to think about all the other many times I've started new saves to experiment with different characters. Unfortunately, my first disc is broken, so I can't play it again.....

I've never heard of this so-called "Deus Ex" and I don't live under a rock.
  *looks up*
  No, wait, I do...

And Writer: I know how you can get that 1st disk. Look on eBay. People break their disks all the time and sell their remaining ones.
That's right; all of life's problems can be solved on eBay or it's sister site Half.com.
