Leave it to me to find a videogame that teaches me something I couldn't learn faster otherwise. Mirror's Edge is now the latest pain in my ass. I say pain, because the first four levels (omitting the guns bit) had challenges that honestly I feel like I could have done better IRL than the poor woman I was controlling. Then came the whole jumping on trains and leaping down 30 to catch a pole on the side of a building and not getting hurt at all, and that healing after being shot several times nonsense. Also started the "how do I get out of this room?" challenge that was the big question.
It's amazing what being out on a field for four hours during freezing temperature will do for one's morale, eh?
