It isn't just about age, Terdem. Sure, you've been around for a while, but how active how you been? Your post count of twenty -- most of which is just from the past week or two -- really says it all.
Same thing goes for your BD familiar. Only level ten? Consistency gets you in Elders, not poppin' by once in a blue moon.

Why, it doesn't even seem like that long ago that you, Pikang, were noobish. Now, you're a model forum member! You tower over newbies and dole out rights 'n wrongs like a seasoned, enbittered pro It's hilarious to see that metamorphosis.
The same thing happened with Boyo and Vin-D (whom I now proclaim as Vindy!), and, to stitch this back on topic, them blokes are RE Elders now, and have been for some time
What does it all mean? I'm... not sure if anything. It's more a comparison, I guess. The coarse husk of newbie is shed not with time. Rather, it just turns. Then, people do a double take and say, "Whaaa? I thought there use to be a noob there. Oh well. Hey, established forum member, want to go throw rocks at that guy who just posted a 'Who wants to fight me?' topic in the BD Forum rather than the Battle Board?" And they say okay before skipping off merrily to dine on scones over the corpse of their stone pelted foe.

I really wish my n00bishness had fully dissipated, but it hasn't. I've just been floating around trying to find something meaningful to say...but as you can see, I've got nothing.
You know what I just noticed? For one, I noticed that is a really dumb question to ask, but besides that. I noticed that Dragon Master is only 16. In this topic he says he is a senior. That can't be true (if he's American anyways, and assuming he is a he).
Maybe I'll resuscitate FoY...
Later that is. Seeing as I can't remember anything from it at the moment. I'll have to read through again.

It all goes to show that the theory of tough love works! Although, come to think of it, there's really no "love" involve, seeing as few of us here are truly capable of it. So, really, it's just beatin' and abuse that works!
Rook, if you don't want to seem noobish, just do what I do when I can't think of something to add to a conversation- don't. You might avoid saying something stupid or unnecessary. Remember, it can take a long time to earn someone's respect, but just one slip of the tongue to lose it. BTW, FoY... what?
You may have noticed by now that I like to analyze things. If you do to, you may be interested in the above paragraph. If you don't, well this is probably all you read of the above post. Thank you for your time.

Fall of Yggdrasil. It has only been -- what -- two years since that story was added to, right? Oh, non-REWS stories: why are they even still around?
If I remember correctly, no one added to it anymore since it left off in a giant blaaahahahhhaheagh. That is much larger than the regular blehs that befall stories.
And yeah, he's sixteen (supposedly). He is American, too, which makes you wonder just what exactly is wrong. He can't take Batt's advice, so I have to take it for him. Surprisingly, he hasn't been banned for constantly reposting deleted topics yet, although he is on his last legs...

Well, I have successfully...
...blown off writing FoY. I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually. I've been busy doing....stuff. And by stuff, I mean video games. I was in the mood a few days ago, but I had to do something that day.
Yeah, I know my posts were generally pretty bad. I've come to accept the fact that I was young and it wasn't my fault!!
I'm just going to start using elements of my own past stupidity as a tool. For instance, my character's tendency to attack without question. I can turn it into some kind of running gag. Even though it kinda already is. Now my blatant stupidity can shine.

Hey, needles sting. One would reason that 1000 of them would sting 1000 times more. Unfortunately, you probably go numb after the first couple hundred and don't notice the rest anyway. Yes, Squirrel Fighters truly are a RElders topic. Too bad no one ever actually made techs; they only ever learned every single token and didn't combine them out of a combination of stubbornness and stupidity.
Been tryin' to reprogram FtRPG recently, actually, which would mark the third or so time it has been done in some form or another. A better learning interface (that is, one that would allow combinations and class changing without having to post) would potentially make people combine some friggin' tree rats already!
