...the way I see it is that it IS a defect, people born with defects have to learn to live like a "normal" person - I don't see why gay's should be any different, yes they may crave to go after blokes, but it's a birth defect, they need counselling to get them on the "straight and narrow" so to speak ^_^
For example a dyslexic is born with the inability to read very well, but we train him to read, a perosn with a limb deformity, will usually get a prothesis, and lead a normal life - yet gays, they sit in a whimpering heap saying "but I like men, I don't wanna like women" - get up man! - stop crying like a girl, and do you duty as a man to procreate...

Hi i own the FlameOfLight gym. I did have some magic cards but i sold all the about 5 years ago for about $1000.00. I have abotu 2 binders full about diffrent trading cards here and there. I am missing like 4-5 cards from the monster in my pocket series. Those cards are hard to find. Plus i have a few cards froom the fantasy series and i do believe they do not make those any more.

Now here's something that I wonder: that study showed that homo's have that defect, but what ratio of normal people also have it? I'd think those numbers would be a huge winning blow for showing that something to be overcome and not succumbed to.
Of course, the topic doesn't really need to be argued. Scratch that -- it shouldn't need to be argued. People should realize that guns and holsters go together and in no other combination (unless a gun had many holsters; now what's so wrong with that ). I mean, that right there is an undeniable shining logic, but what to people say? "It doens't hurt anyone. They want to, so why can't they?" Try using that do defend anything other than fruitiness and I think you'll find people view it as a self-centered and amoral view, which they should.

AID's has always been a problem, but it's rife in the gay community (1 in 9) - bisexual members of that community then easily transfer it back into the straight community, so on that front the gay community acts like a breeding chamber for the AIDs virus to be redistributed to the rest of us. Since because they can't get pregnant they don't think about using protection - hence the high rates
In the UK, they've recently decided (or are clsoe to allowing) gay's to foster children, now gays themselves can't have kids - but the second they can adopt kids, they're gonan adopt them, and you can't sya that it won't have any effect, becaue brinign a child up in a gay "family" is sure to have repurcussions on their attitudes towards gay/straight behaviours.
...anyway - how totally off topic is this getting... wasn't it collector cards we were talking about earlier? (Collector cards are gay (j/k)

Wow, I thought at least one person would stand up for gays, but in my abscence nobody did. Do you guys all like hate gays (myself not being one), or what? I thought you guys would all like keep an open mind (not like that) but Whatsupwithat? I think all people are equal, minorities, religions, sexualities. That's like hating blacks, but on a different level. I know it sounds retarded, but I hate when people hate groups for no reason. You guys know what I'm sayin'. (I know somebody who problly is gay, I hate him as an individdle)

Time to point out your several logical falacies. First, you are comparing homophobia (for lack of a better word) with racism -- a very unjust comparison. Racism is wrong for two reasons: you should never hate for someone for something they cannot help, and a race matters as much as any genetic trait (I've never heard of anyone discriminating to this degree against hair or eye colour, have you?). Being a fruit is as much predetermined as any actions you make or take. Most psychologists today will tell you that there is such a thing as free will -- that is, only a handful per thousand believe in behaviourism (that we have no minds or will). There is no gay gene. Like Ryuu mentioned, there is something that may incline you toward it, but not destine you. Hel, what Ryuu said would just primarily account for opposite-sex characteristics, not necessarily same-sex attraction. We can use all sorts of biological and psychological standards to say what people are inclined toward; nothing makes any of it true. If it was, I shoulda been found on a short length of rope long ago.
I'll just throw out the religion comparison right now. Don't even try to use that. Religion is largely a predetermined characteristic; whatever you are raised as you will tend to keep. There are exceptions, true, and that is where I shall go into my next rhetorical point.
You act like no one should hate anything. "Hypocrite" I call you. Everyone hates and just pretends not to. Look at religion. People can join strange cults or become baby-sacrificing devil worshippers. Say you they have a right to that? Then, there are just messed-up religions like deviants of Islam. Can you say that their unusually non-Muslim beliefs that justify murder are something not to hate? Of course you won't. You can't.
And then a closing point on your defense of any sexuality itself. If you believe that people should not be discriminated against for favouring opposite or same sex, then what right have you to defend those who prefer relatives? animals? trees? water? ghosts? blood? pain? the dead? articles of closing? Oh, the list can go on. There are sexual deviations that you would never hear about in your darkest nightmares. And they exist. And according to you, they are perfectly normal because it is something that people prefer. More beautifully yet, I can use the same argumentation that people use to defend gays to defend all of those beliefs, showing that those who support gays must inheritly support all paraphelia. Of course, those people will say they don't, proving again logical falacy and deprecating the validity of their beliefs.
Then, on closing note, I shall attack your accusation that we are not being open-minded. I could make the very same accusation of yourself, only my accusation would hold much more true. You have been ushered into the mainstream lost thought pattern that homosexuality should be accepted, which for all reasons we have stated and more is shown to be more than immoral, yet we are the ones not being open-minded? Apparently, from all that we have stated, we are the only ones that have put any thought into the subject. "Open-minded..." does that not mean that we should consider an option? To weigh pros and cons? Open-minded does not mean to accept what others believe because it is a majority belief. It defines exactly what we have been doing already. You, on the other hand, have probably never seriously considered it a day in your life. Otherwise, you would have easily come to the same conclusions we have.

I think you're trying to overcomplicate this, taking out my words individually, instead of a whole. It changes the meaning almost entirely. Why do you have any reason for disliking or hating gays. Do you fear what you can't understand? Or is your mindset to narrow for general indifference. Now there are exceptions for baby burning religions. But I do not accept it, I stand indifferent. Your trying to take the side of a scientist, and me, a philosipher. We could go on for hours arguing our points out, but we aren't on the same level, so it would be pointless. So you took my words out of context saying I support everything, but at the same time you were attacking my open-minded credibility.
