So I was at school and wanted to come here to check the boards yesterday, you see, so I typed in the address. I waited for a moment for the site to load, and I got a screen which read this:
Information Alert
Status : 403 Forbidden
Description : Inappropriate Content Blocked by N2H2/ADULT 0 1
I'm thinking "time out. Why is this site blocked? It doesn't have any adult content..."
So I went to the site that provides my school it's filtering software to see what the problem was. I type in the address in the "Lookup URL info" box, and lo and behold, Realitys End had been flagged not only for Adult content, but for every single block type the had in their system!
Soooo... I try again today, and it loads up the site. Finding that strange, I went to the filter site again and looked it up again. And, interestingly enough, I get...:
The Site: realitysend.com
is not currently categorized in the database.
Man... I hate it when filter systems go spastic. I remember back a few years ago when my school used a different company that accidentally blocked out MY site (I e-mailed them and they fixed it).

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Oh, yes, and HAH!
We used to have something akin to this. Count yourself blessed that it at least didn't block out every single website, and pop a virus into your computer that spasmatically changed program information at random.- Cheetarius, Saphire Leader

I think my local library uses that N2H2 garbage - it refused to open "Chat/Webmail" pages and pretty much pissed off half the town, so I think they changed it. ^.^

I cannot believe it! You still go to my site
No, seriously, tho', that is quite strange. Wow, imagine RE with that kinda content. You know I do not have it because of the few amounts of visitors I get.
Speaking of buggered software and low-visitor amounts, according to my traffic tracker, I got eight unique visitors Monday.... eight. Also according to this software, today and yesterday have not happened yet. Gotta love technology.

Now that is weird. I always get all sorts of crazy screens when I'm at school that say that pages can't be found, but never to RE. I didn't know if it was worth mentioning before, but I've been getting alot of pages that say that the site can't be found, and that's on my home computer. It's usually fine when I refresh the page, but it's annoying. I don't think that it's my computer or myself this time, because it only does that to RE. I just can't figure it out...~*SailorSassyStar*~

Yeah, I mentioned the same problem a while ago. It's mostly just annoying because it wastes time reloading the page. Unless it happens when you win a battle in the RE League. THose pages can't be refreshed.I know my BD familiar sucks!!! I have limited internet access so I'm constantly losing battles.

I've never had any trouble getting to RE...
Don't remind me of that lousy library filter! ACK, IT'S TOO LATE!
It blocked any page that had the WORD 'chat' on it! >_<

*Scratches head*
For some reason my last college blocked my website, I have no idea why - possibly because um... it... was a website?
Luckily me new college allows pretty much anything for our class there are NO filters (seriously) - but the average age of the people in my class is like 30 so it's generally assumed nobody's going to be doing anything stupid. Also there's remote access software so the only occasion I can think of somone visiting something dodgy the admin opened word remotly and typed "and what do you think YOU'RE looking at" and they never tried going there again (funny bit is it was gay porn, and the person visiting the site was a female student - and they make out us men are the perverts)Theres a long gap between staring at the sun, and creating a hydrogen bomb; In the duration between them you'll just go blind.
