Of course, every active story from BW is being saved as well as all of the RPeX stories.   However, I gotta save some of the dead BW stories. Classics like My Kamaitachi and Dan and Rika (Better) are necessary for the continuance of inside jokes Other than Blaster, I don't know if any others are worth saving...      I was sorta wondering if some of the old forum stories should be ported over to the REWS as well. I mean, there really aren't that many RP stories in the forum that weren't completed. There's ygg, black, treasure...and the camo ones imo deserve their own topic section.    Would mucus be a good lubricant?

I mean, when I went through my crazed phase of adding to every story possible, those were the ones with actual meat on dem bones. Plus, I set them up to be easily added to.      Boundless Black is crap. It should be buried and ignored. It was okay for its time, its sole add didn't get it anywhere, and it has had better renditions created since that initial point in time.      Treasure Hunters Inc. is a mixture of stupid and confusing. Vince and Tanner? FTW? I mean, there's a such thing as making nearly identical characters in multiple stories, that's been done forever. However, this was more of just laze in naming. They didn't use magic, or work for a government agency. Okay story, crappy character portrayal, I guess. Really, not worth it.      Cold Wind, flawed from the start. A story taking place in the most complicated setting outside of Maelstrom City is not too wise of a starting, 'specially when the most basic essence of the gym is missed in the opening paragraph. Nothing is wrong with the writing, storyline, etc, per se, but it definately should not be saved.      Anything Camo is instantly beautiful, although none shall ever live up to the first and greatest. The rest are steaming whads in contrast.      Is there even anything else? Methinks not...         So, if its BD, thumbs up, I says. Elsewise, shrugging.    "Now broadcasting with twice the power. But I'm sure we could shave off the suck, even if it required deleting back until the plot-holes began, which I really think means 'bout half the story. I know trouble started when Eagle came, not because of Eagle himself but rather a continuous reference to the Lwty from the original Search after a quick joke I faultily made. Yeah, that's right. You can blame this'un on me.      And for the last time, Camo's Pub was, alas, lost forever. Blame his trashy whore on that'un, not on me again I'm just getting all the blame this time, aren't I?         Bah! There has been too much story importing and not enough new story making! The most recent creation on the REWS main page lists To Hell! We need a, like, To Hell Two or something -- To Hell: On Purpose! This one is supposed to be only one page long!

MintMan Posts: 4061 Member #1 Sep 11, 2006 14:18	I've thought of two story ideas along the lines of THOP (To Hell: On Purpose), and I very well may make both:      The first idea ties into both Halloween and Battling Dragons, so it's got that goin' for it. This year, instead of giving out the normal Jack-O-Lantern mask through a tournament, it must be won through writing! This encourages a Search-esque environment of new writers and big dawgs writing together (only less the simul-postings with the REWS lock function), especially since it is never defined just how the mask must be won -- just that every ends on October 31st.      The next idea is actually the one I thought up of first, simply involving one character fighting four guardians, taking a power from each defeat so that battles do not become boring, and then taking down a Big Bad. I figger something like that would last little more than two pages, like a caffienated High Time or a To Hell that doesn't get ruined (thanks to the REWS report function). It would also probably use the Steam Punk genre just for the fun of it.
