It took me forever to think up of, but I think I finally have it! I've been in a writing withdraw for far too long. Time was, I had some sort of e-mail RPG or Vaporeon Babble to make my sometimes inane and more rarely serious but always violent writings, but a drought has been about for over a good year.
I tried to think up of tons of stuff to fill this void, including ideas for new games, trying to utilize Camo's Necosanguin game (until he wanted to actually make it, well, Necosanguin), and even thoughts of bringing up Warrior and the Wyrm. Alas! I have an idea that could possibly require even less work than all of those... combined!
I'm starting work on making a big ol' bestiary for Battling Dragons. That was one of its original intentions -- to have a huge, non-copied source of compiled information about mythological creatures. But I would have to include many creatures in this bestiary, more than I currently have in BD.
Hence comes in the fun part. I'll add little entries for non-BD creatures, perhaps a little pen-and-paper sketch in the cornor. But then, immediately at the bottom of the page, a voting box! Members and visitors alike would be able to vote on how much they would like to see that particular creature be in BD (or at least have more information and pictures made of it, thus increasing its chances of being made a new creature). But how would one decide the victor of these votes?
Enter the Battling portion. The two highest-voted for creatures (with possibilities of cheating well accounted for and handled) would have to duel! How would that work, one might ask? Well, one, I'm glad you did.
I sorta got this idea from that thing LEagle made with Entropy versus Yoshi. The two contending creatures would be facing off in a voting booth. Every X votes, say, a battle log would be added to. Who would do this adding? Any there at the time. It would be an interactive battle log -- if it needs added to, anyone willing to write more for it can. They can make just about anything happen in the battle so long as the victor in that particular act was the one who actually got the votes.
And then time for the wackiness: the fight would take place in a coliseum of sorts. There would be spectators that were allowed to yell things along with Entropy and I to be refs and occasional commentators. Moreover, the two creatures would need keepers, so they would have keepers chosen for them from a selection of mythological figures! How much possibilities could there be with Zeus's Hydra against Frey's Salamander? It doesn't even begin to make sense, and with me writing for it, it would make even less!
I dunno how into writing you are all, but you wouldn't have to if you didn't want. What the important thing here is how into reading something like this would you be?

Yay! Credit! Errr...I got the voting thing from Bowser's Tower...which got it from Bowser's Temple...which.....darnit, do I even have original ideas? Well, I do, but not popular ones.
I think that MintMan's new idea will work well, if the programming doesn't bash his head out with all the cookies from the sky. Mmm...cookie...
While still on the topic of BD....anyone know where the heck MegaZero went? I challenged that guy, but obviously there has been no reply...*sob* *sniffle* So sad, Fallen for once rejected my challenge...
