Well, as you may have guess, it is the exact same problem. Boy howdy, does AOL suck. I mean, it sucks hard core.
The lack of access is screwing my securities. Tell ya what: try opening a seperate browser after you connect to AOL. Just minimize everything after connection and open up an Internet Explorer and see if that works. I've heard recently that doing so by-passes their proxy server thus destroying their fruitiness.

All it means is that I have to keep an extra close eye on AOL users.
Doesn't matter much, tho', since anyone using AOL can't be that superior of a hacker. C'mon, they are using the worse ISP ever!
... c'mon!

Mmm...Kero, that thing about using IE to bypass Proxy setts for AOL and AOL counterparts? Well, they have their Parental Controls set to where, if you have Restricted Access on the internet access thing(I don't know the official names, I never bother to look) you can't use any other programs aside from the AOL browser. I know because we moved, no longer have DSL, and are using a "fruity" AOL-like thing put out by WalMart Connect. I have unrestricted access now(thank goodness!) so I have no problems with IE. Hope that helps, and if it's just useless, I'll have you know I'm still sick. My head hurts...- Cheetarius Gryffith, Saphire Leader
