Hey, GI18, I logged in hoping to raise Fallen's Defense points a little (and accidentally clicked the Set button on Health because my crappy mouse slipped, which was not what I wanted, but that's beside the point), and when I checked up on Fallen's stats, here's what I got.

  Health: 110
  Magic: 80
  Strength: 20
  Speed: 20
  Agility: 22
  Defense: 20
  Arcane: 20
  Virtue: 20
  Strike: 20

I haven't had stats like that since Level 1. I've had better stats than that at Level 1 (oh, and interesting boosts on Agility and Health ). Would it be all right if my stats were reverted to their Level 10 standings? I'd prefer if I still retained that Level 10 bonus, but it's not necessary. I only wanted it for Defense anyway.

You can trust me, these are my true and honest stats. Besides, you've probably got something that logs everyone's standings, so you'd be able to catch me in a lie.

  Health: 280
  Magic: 184
  Strength: 66
  Speed: 44
  Agility: 42
  Defense: 54
  Arcane: 40
  Virtue: 54
  Strike: 50

I see exactly what you are talking about... eww. That is rather odd. This happened when you boosted, you say? From the looks of it, you were blasted down to your base stats, which actually do resemble very closely your level one stats. I think they might actually be a slight lower.

Oh.... nurtz. I see what happened. Apparently, I never added any of the new creatures to the boost script, thus having you operate on null stats! Eww, that ain't good. Thus, now your stats are only modified by your boostings! I'll run a script to correct this right now, and I'll fix that boost in Health to be in defense for ya, too. It isn't that hard.

Whoa, the funny things technology does when they're out of the control of an intelligent mind. So many scripts to check that they acquire their own mind. *grins* Hopefully there haven't been any other Monoceros, Tatzelwurms, or Basilisks who've boosted and not checked their stats. That'd be horrible if they're in battle.

Anyway, thank you so much for helping me out and extra thanks for fixing my little defense blunder.

Nope. Thankfully, you are the first person to raise a creature after the original four to the level of the second boost, which is ten. The closest others to you are Deathman with his Basilisk and LE with his Kamaitachi.

The function to boost creature's stats every ten levels was added well after Nidhogg, Hrimfaxi, Kamaitachi, and the Jabberwock were established in the game, so none of them were effected. I did, however, forget to update that particular script with the addition of every creature thereafter, thus causing the problem that you saw.

Yeah, I have to break down all creatures into text files so I don't have to update six seperate scripts everytime I change or add a creature...
