Dragon_Knight Posts: 88 Member #49 Oct 21, 2002 8:26	This question should have been asked a long time ago when BD consisted of just 1 dragon, but why was the Nidafells Dragon's name (spelled something like that) changed to the Nidhogg? The reason is ( heh heh he, i'm tellin' minty) that MINT MAN IS STOOPOOD!!      Back in the day, when he even had the idea for BD, he just pulled a dragon out from the Norse Edda about a dragon at the end of the world carrying off corpses. Spottily stated, it goes "Dragon... rising from Nidefell's... swift wings of darkness... carries corpses... flies away."      For some reason, obsessing over a dragon that appeared in maybe five lines of literature, he used it as the basis for the prime creature. Later, though, it came to his knowledge that this "Nidefell's Dragon" was actually Nidhogg, the dragon at the base of the world tree. He should have known that before, but being the lazy dunce he is, he did things in the way that would eventually take longer and become cumbersome, what with changing the names and all.      Actually having a name, he changed it. I mean, seriously, the name "Nidefell's Dragon" isn't exactly convenent. I mean, it's more of an address than a name. The name gives it more character, too. I was having trouble findin' the site again, and by sheer luck, I typed in the address for the RELLB (or somethin' like that) and got to the main page. It was weird, and the dragon's name was changed.      When Mintman explained it, though, he didn't make himself sound so stupid....
