I just wanted to get this out before anyone else did, because I know these will come:

Yes, work on the BD RPG battle system has gone underway. I am not too worried about that part of the game; the RPG system will be far more complicated.

If you don't know what I'm talking about...

Now, this is in fact a test page. Hence, I do not need suggestions or bug reports or anything else you people might think. Anything you say to me will usually be something I am already planning on adding or just plain stupid.

I have had to deal with this problem many times before, and I just don't want to have to go through my usual round of insulting. I am getting very tired...

I'm not totally sure if it's supposed to do anything more than look good but I couldn't seem to get it to do anything - although I did note that the "-->" button has a blank "onClick" field, and besides that there is no way to execute the JS script to calculate battle damage and stuff.

That little timer bar is kind of an intresting idea... (I note that while that bar is filling you can't choose any characters/moves, which is why I guess it acts as a timer)

Edit: In case anyone gives 2 s***s you can mess around with my battle sim program - as with Kero's this is *early test phase* - it looks like s***, has no safety locks, no explanations, and halfway doesn't work. But here it is all the same:

Step 1: Go here, and create a character (or 2 characters if testing it by yourself) ("8" is what you'd call a medium stats value, 16 very high, anything above that gets silly)
  http://www.anotherworld.f2s.com/Battle_Player_Send.php3

Step 2: Decide who's gonna make the game (the "host") and who's gonna join the host player (if testing it on your own open 2 windows, think of one as the host, and 1 as the other player) - the "host" player (or window) needs to load this page - type the character who is host in the hsot box, and as player 1, type the name of the other character as player 2
  http://www.anotherworld.f2s.com/Battle_Init.php3

Step 3: The guy who isn't host needs to open this link (below) in his window (or in the case of playing by yourself, open it in the window that isn't acting as host) - type the host name in (the other guy) type your characters name as player 1 (the host will have put this character's name in as player 2 his side)
  http://www.anotherworld.f2s.com/Battle_Join.php3

Step 4: If you did this right 1 player is classed as the host, and one player is the tag along - the reason for a host is that it is his computer that runs the scripts to check if both players have assigned their attacks, then calcs the damage - in the final version the host/client system is automated, if you set the host up wrong you could corrupt the character profiles (oh the shame) - anywayz, you should have 3 attack names at the bottom of the screen, clicking 1 will add a move into one of the slots in a bar at the bottom of the screen, more powerful moves use more slots, click the attacks until your happy, then confirm you're happy with it by clicking "accept combo".

Step 5: You'll be taken to a "waiting" screen (with a bunch of test variables visible on) - you'll need to click "wait" ocasionally, once players have assigned their turns the damage is calculated and you'll get an option to take your next turn (in the final version this will be automated rather than all by clicking)

Step 6: Repeat steps 4 and 5 until somone dies.

All this is early testing days, there's no accuracy, magic, or weapon/armor effects taken into account, just the basic STR/Base dmg/Move modifiers noted. Don't bother informing me of any bugs, I know of about 3 bugs, and still working on doing stuff that will fix ones that do exist - for more information go my website, and check the documentation on what's planned for the battle sim...

Yeah, the Timer Rocks! Wish I could do that instead of a turn based system, but I guess the turn based system has to work first...(My In The Past Battling has problems. Like you attack and it is supposed to diffrenent damage to you and the opponent. Well, I haven't figured out why that is not working...)

Of course the onClick attribute was blank; I haven't added battle processing yet. I just have move-selection and initiative in. I just wanted to demonstrate placement, timers, and how the combo boxes' contents would change upon picking different options. That's really all.
and, as I had promised, began work on the Battling Dragons RPG.
And I didn't go much past that "began;" what you see at that page is quite literally one-night's work. The real only difficult part that is going to be in the actual battle-system is working in the spells and all of their bits and bytes and constants and who knows what else?

Yeah, I guess that is one thing I should clarify on
The actual version will use your... *shudders* dudes, but that requires a Perl file to rip the account data. For this development phase, I don't much feel like having an open connection, editting a Perl file, and then uploading it with every edit. I can work everything much faster if I use an off-line version (for the time being).

I just went through using the error thingys. Here is what it says:
  First Error:
  Line: 595
  Char: 272
  Error: Syntaxy Error

  Second Error:
  Line: 152
  Char: 1
  Error: 'char' is undefinded.

Hmm.... It worked fine when I used it.

I think the second error is just caused by the first error. Whenever JavaScript finds an error, it messes up, causing other stuff to be undefined, so "char" was probably just a victim of that. At least I think so, but since I don't know the code and whatnot of it, I don't actually know anything (thus, I'm pretty much a raving idiot)

Uh, no it wasn't. Nothing is broken. Nothing ever was. Go there now. See? Nothing's wrong. Nothing wrong has ever happened in one of my games.
