If you want to die faster than anything and don't care about win percentage with the most losing XP to gain possible, challenge me!
I'm level 23 (i think), I can kill a 'hogg in two blows, and... other stuff.
But, the reason you have to challege me is I don't want my valor to drop any lower. 30 is bad enough as it is...

Thirty? Sweet monkeys of Odin! That is low! Oh well, I saw a guy with zero once, so that isn't as bad as it could be.
Race for a Basilisk, eh? I for one am against it? Why? I never programmed in the multiple adoption thing yet! I mean, I shall, but... ever wonder why I still have a Nidhogg instead of a Hrimfaxi.
Bam. With this petty race, however, I shall be forced to get to work old school.
Oh yeah, Gobbo, don't be too confident about your little weasel. As soon as the two hit twenty and turn into Drakes, their ShadowBurner might be enough to destroy your Kamaitachi before even you -- no matter how much higher -- can kill them.
Right now, that Kamaitachi is an entire stage above your Nidhogg Hatchlings (a 20+ two-former acts as a final former, 10-20 a middle former, and a -10 a beginning stage). Not only does it have better spells, but its stats are also a significant amount higher. If I were you guys, I'd fight each other instead of Gobbo until you hit twenty. That was you at least stand a better chance.
He prolly either has speed boosts or is getting more hits than you during that particular battle.
Wow, two. That's gotta suck. Use some more strategic boosting in your 'Hogg once you get up to twenty.

Yeah, you may say "Screw fighting you, Gobbo" now, but once one of you breaks the level twenty barrier, the straggler would be a fool to fight you anymore.
The jump from ninteen to twenty isn't just a regular level up, as most of you probably know. The creatures stats practically increase by fifty percent AND (as if that wasn't enough) the already godly Shadow Burner grows from 35 to 50 attack power. More or less, anyone not past the final growth has a 0% chance of winning against someone who does.
Suddenly, oh lookie, I'm the new flavor of the month. Mwahahahaa- oh wait, I'd still get my butt kicked by the 'Hogg. ... Dangit...

Wow, Camo really got all the goods in those bouts. That doesn't seem right. I guess that's what happens when you battle with only experience in mind. Now do you see why I have so much set against it? Huh? Do ya?
And the stat increase is not fifty percent. In actuality, the increase into the last stage is the smallest comparatively to the one preceding. From the first stage to the second (or the equivelent for 2 formers) yields a twenty-five percent increase. The final change is only twenty percent of the preceding stage's stats, but fifty percent of the first forms.

This is wierd... Camo keeps getting two attacks in a row, like almost exactly in a row... You should add time to the logs, so we can see when the last attack was performed... Cause, camo has been doing the same thing, I get firt attack, then he gets two after me.Experience the Game XP The Game Forum Moderator at CnC Detonation News Updater at CnC NZ.com, CnC Zone, RA2 Explosion

A time log would be impossible. Although the creatures are on timers, they act all at once based on that timer.
See, BD played as tho' the creatures are in real time, but they can only act when someone views them hence activating the script. I would need more than Cron to have creatures going at it all the time.
Thus, whenever they are viewed, a loop begins, processing from their last acting time to the current time, using up all of their actions.
*looks at Ash10's log* Whoa, only two Shadow Burners to take out another 'Hogg? That's sad! I've really gotta redo the damage formula for less. And Camo's just acting twice in a row once; that's nothing special. If he has just one Speed boost and you have none, that would account for it perfectly. There's no big mystery behind it or anything.
Or if neither of you have Speed boosts, just one more page view of a dragon than the other would account for it. His site doesn't even have to be more popular; just the page with the dragon does for the duration of that short, short battle.

Redo the damage formula? Wouldn't that make Nidhogg egg battle's even longer? Or do you just mean more balance in the Nidhogg's stats? I'm sure you got it all figured out, as you do most of the time, but I thought I'd throw that in there anyhow.
And please don't tell me you use the get.Date() function for BD. (I think that's the right function.... somethin' like that) With some of the crazy dates and times that are set to people's computers, you could get some crazy stuff... I think.Endless Horizon: http://www.angelfire.com/rpg/verdegym

The getDate() function? That's JavaScript, boy! I have to use Perl for any sort of file transmission.
No, I mean a complete redo of the damage formula. The Egg fights won't be upset that much. The way the old one is planned is just as the new -- ten normal attacks from a creature with equal strength as supposed enemy defense in order to kill. However, this new damage formula I've figured out has a way to, get this, par things up with Shadow Blast. This formula won't be used in the RPG; just the web battles. It'll lessen the gap between powerful spells dulling their vantage point but still making them something to be reckoned with.
I also have to redo the status infliction and hit formulae, but damage was a big problem, especially when a Nidhogg would die in just two Shadow Burners. This new formula works in consideration that higher leveled creatures have better magic attacks, thus making the damage formula shrink in essence over the levels, but the normal attack strength actually gets stronger! Also, this new formula essentially weakens early spells, so starting with a twenty-power magic attack isn't as good as it used to be.
