Okay, my tourny started yesterday, and battle finished yesterday, but for some reason I got my latent experience and leveled. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I'm now a level 3 in a tourny restricted to 1-2 level. It won't let me learn my new tech yet, so I probably won't have that much of an advantage, but I thought I'd point it out in case whatever error it is, is causing problems elsewhere.

Well, as you may have heard, the server has gone on the fritz.
Luckily, all that comes with level is increased life, and in a tournament, everybody has the same life, so absolutely nothing happened at all, especially without your tech.
Just ride it out unless something odd happens like kicking you out of the tourney you're already in.
