[title from Monoceros' mention in Edmund Spensor's The Faerie Queen]

Now that Monoceros is done, I figured I let every see what all the hub-bub is about.

   Monoceros Foal
Horn - 20/30 Power Equine Attack
Bray - Lowers Enemy Attack by 20%/25%
Uncapturable - Raises Agility by 20%/25%

   Monoceros Feral
Impale - 30/40 Power Equine Attack, Lowers Enemy Defense by 5%
Bellow - Lowers All Enemies' Strength by 25%/35%
Legendary - Raises Agility and Virtue by 15%/20%

Next up: Basilisk. I shall have it done before I go to college; I want it done before August. Speaking of the Basilisk, once it comes out, I'm going to stop people from adopting the Jabberwock. Six won't finish the freakin' thing, so I don't really have a choice.

EDIT: I fixed the spell's percentages and accounted for the transience of the Monoceros's middle spell power, which was a feature added after this post was originally made.

Wow, look at everyone caring! It's unbelievable! *dies*

Anyhoo, while on the speak of newness to BD (and things that no one will ever care about), I _finally_ gots those new Kamai's made up, complete with new stats and attacks!

And, since KeroMintGudrunKeroManIncitement18 got another monster done, I should really start production of my next beast, the Tatzelwurm! Who shall be BD's second dragon! *fanfare*
Lair of Mad Goblin - Home Lost Soul, a far from average Pocket Monster Fanatic Fiction, and my personal brand of home grown insanity...

Not Quite Heroes - On-line comic that's everything but normal. Everything from diabolical meat by-products to men comprised of mayo jar...

Is it just me, or does it only have two forms? Don't all the others have three? And did you ever post up the attacks of all the other monsters? I'm sorta curious.

Good lookin' out, Writa. Lot's of good stuff here.

Yes, it does only have two forms. A lot of BD creatures have three forms (Nidhogg, Hrim, and Jabber), but you forget that the Kamaitachi too only has two. The reason is simple -- anything with an inferior, helpless stage (like an egg) gets three forms. However, certain creatures are hard enough to squeeze two different looking forms out of (other than just a change in size) such as our friend Monoceros over here. See how similar its two forms are? I'd hate to make four more pics of it for an intermediate stage if it'll look just like the ones already had. Instead, only two forms come from it.
"But doesn't that mess things up?" you might ask. Yes it does, but it is more than compensated for. You see, everytime a creature's form changes, its attacks and stats also change (and typically increase greatly). This would normally put a two-step creature at a disadvantage when everything else has gained stats and it not and at an advantage when it get's final-form stat-levels while everything else is only at two. Thus this scenario is not the case. Rather, two-formed creatures experience two stat increments at level ten and level twenty (regardless of the creature type). This is close to the time when a normal, three-stage creature would get its stat increments. Attacks, although, change normally when the form of the two-stage creature does (usually at level fifteen), but attacks' powers matter much less than the stat changes.

Now that that is taken care of, there is the issue of the other creatures being posted like this. I suppose I could, but they are quite grotesque. I figured I'd post them up when they get revamped (which I want to do this summer, time permitting [and I think it shall]). As you might know, the Kamaitachi has been redone recently, so why don't I put it up for everyone to see, hmm?

  Kamaitachi:

  Pup
Blur - Raises Agility by 20%/25%
Gash - 20/30 Power Bestial Attack
Knock Down - Reduces Enemy Speed by 20%/25%
  Weasel
Conceal Form - Raises Agility by 25%/35%
Whirlwind - 30/40 Power Wind Magic Attack that effects All Enemies
Triple Assault - 10 Power Bestial Attack and Reduces Enemy Speed by 25%/35%

Those of you with careful notice might realize that not only have the Kamai's pictures changed, but most of the attacks have changed too. I feel (as does Gobbo) that the new version is much better than the old.

EDIT: Same as Monoceros' post: new spell stats and such.

Y'know, I really like the way Kamaitachi and Monoceros abilities don't really change, they just grow. (I'm also happy that that random music generator finally gave me Wild Arms Theme. It's a classic, as far as this site goes.)

Um, most creature's attacks don't really change, not that those two. In fact, the only time, anywhere, that a creature's attacks diffrentiate greatly between form is from a Nidhogg Egg to Hatchling. It's Shell and Bounce get freaky to Bite and Swift Wing.
Every other creature in Battling Dragons usually just gets a more powerful attack instead of something different all together.

Yes... the only two forms I've actually seen from personal experience. On another note, my site's first official anniversary is a mere 10 days away. I'm so excited!
