You wrote something about valor being between 30 and 40...but Asfaloth's at 70 Valor! Does that still make Asfaloth applicable for this competition?
...Same goes for FoxMcBlur, who's at 54 Valor. Both Asfaloth and Fox are two levels away from the checkered flag.

Meh...
So long as tourneys that reward EXP for my level range are being held, I don't mind training. Tournies in this manner are a much better way of getting EXP. Or at least... they are easier to get started, anyway.
I doubt destroyer will be reaching level 25 any time soon though.

Wow. What exactly about me saying "1st come, 1st serve", Ice declaring himself the sole winner, and Ems re-stating the already shoulda-been obvious facts makes that lot of you think you still have a chance to win the race?
There's only one first place prize. Ice, being the first one to respond, actually meeting the old requirements, too, claimed it. It's been laying around for years now. Plenty others came before him that coulda got it but didn't.
To reiterate, Ice won, no one else did, can, or will.
So, now for addressing Ice:
Anka? Ah, c'mon. Right after I do all the right and proper research for Chimera, plan out all of its coolness, have its pics in my head, and all that jazz, and you go and want to switch it up?
Well, Icie-boy, I'd hate to tell you, but Anka is NOT an ice bird. I don't know where that site got its info (yes, I found it and read about it), but that's just not true. Anka is just a Roc (or Ruhk) equivilent: giant white bird, carried elephants, possibly horned. I believe that spelling is different from that which I normally see, so its hard for me to varify. It may have, may have, lived in the arctic, but that's not really command of icy powers like, say, the Bmola.
Anyhoo, most of those PkMn myth-linkings are utter crap. With the exception of Ho-oh, no bird is based on anything mythical. Faiaa, Furizaa, and Sandaa are just birds of three elements, they have no linkings to anything. You can lie to yourself and say they do, but its not true in the slightest.
So, I could make you Anka or the Chimaera, but, remember, I make them right. Anka would not be icy and Chimaera would only have one head, as it was rightly. Or, if you want, you can pull out another monster to have made in your honor. I don't want to start working on it until you're completely settled on your decision.

Ah, fair enough. I was afraid that the connection might have been made up since I wasn't able to find any other references to the Anka besides the geos***ties page, but I figured it was worth a shot. I fully agree that doing it right makes sense. After looking at it, the Bmola does appear to be basically what I was looking for anyways. I'm not quite sure why I suck so badly at finding mythological creatures with a particular characteristic or ability, but yeah. That looks good, assuming it actually does have the abilities of the cold and general iciness.
Sorry that I'm being so flippant about this, but I suppose third time is... better than first or second?
So yeah. Icey is much too indecisive, but I say screw it, ignore me if I change my mind again, gogo Bmola!

Whoops, this topic fell back... again. Well, er, it hasn't been a year and a month, at least.
Dang B'mola. I was all set to make the Chimaera when then you had to go ask for a bird and lazy up my plans.
Well, there still is ground work on the B'mola, I just need to make it look like... an interesting monster. I'm trying to find some sort of neat native pattern or symbols to put on its plummage, a la those types of creatures always have, but it's very hard to find any good ones. Most seem to remind me of, stangely enough, symbols used by Pokemon, which would not be well in the least.
So, was this a meaningly waste of time? No! It was a meaningly distraction of time! ...

Nice pic of the Chimaera. I always thought it had 3 heads but never did any research on it, just assumed hollywood was right lol. I was wondering if there are any scorpion mythological creatures.
