Skinfaxi was the horse that pulled the chariot of Dag, the Norse god of day. Its mane gave off such light that it illuminated all the sky and sea. ![]() Skinfaxi is the brother of Hrimfaxi. The name Skinfaxi means "Shining Mane" ("Skin" = "Shining", "Faxi" = "Mane").
