The Sirena was a white, winged serpent which inhabited the Arabian penninsula. It could cover land faster than a horse and was even faster when it took to flight. So poisonous was the Sirena's bite that a victim would die before any pain was felt. Syrena is also the name of a Polish entity resembling a mermaid but often described as a dragon-serpent diety or as half-serpent. The Sirena is a Spanish legend with much resemblence to the typical Greek Siren. La Sirena is also a type of snake talisman used Naples, Italy. Future Development: The Sirena is a very rarely mentioned monster in Bestiaries. Since it shares its name with a far more popular legendary icon, research on it is very difficult. With a limited moveset and very little possibilities for more forms, the Sirena may very well remain doomed to B-Monster purgatory. Content-type: text/html
