Sea Dog | ||
|
The Sea Dog resembed an English hunting dog called the Talbot, a breed first introduced to England by the renowned family for which it is named. It differed from its land equivalent in that its entire body was covered in scales, it had webbed feet, and a dorsal fin ran down its back. Its tail was thick and clubbed like that of a beaver. The Sea Dog was used in heraldry, especially for merritime areas. The Talbot, the breed on which the Sea Dog is largely based, has since died out. It was an ancestor to blood hounds. They were typically white in color with black spots and patches. The Talbot possessed an uncanny sense of smell and was used to hunt fox and elk. Future Development: Both form images of the Sea Dog have been made already. Its technique list has also been squeezed to the fullest. There is very little room for improvement on the Sea Dog other than the possibility of spell images.
