In Myth:
Palis is a sort of vampire in Persia. It wanders the desert at night, seeking victims. It licks the soles of the feet until it has drank all of one's blood.
In one tale, two muleteers sleep foot-to-foot, covered in one, large blanket. When the Palis comes for its meal, he cannot find the head -- only two feet. It runs around and around in circles, before finally confessing that it had never seen a man with two heads before! Eventually, the sun rises and scares away the monster, leaving the travelers safe.

Future Development:
Palis is hardly even a monster in terms of Battling Dragons. It will most likely never receive more than this one picture, especially considering how reclusive its artist, Six Grey, is nowadays.
