Kabhanda was once a good Gandharva, but he turned evil. In a fight with the god Indra, his head was pounded inside of his body, and his legs were likewise removed. Kabhanda is a Rakshasa, a class of evil Hindu demons. He looks like a large, hairy, barrel-shaped torso. Kabhanda has a large, single eye showings in his chest, above a gaping, toothy maw. It walks on eight, mile long arm in much the same way as a spider. The god Rama eventually destroyed Kabhanda with vajra (lightning fire), restoring Kabhanda to his previous, good state as a Gandharva. The name of Kabhanda quite literally means "barrel" because of its barrel-like appearance. Future Development: There is not much Kabhanda can do. It will most likely remain with one stage forever. The only real expansion it could have is a cyclical relationship with its Gandharva form, but everyone would be much better off if Gandhy was simply released as a separate monster altogether instead.
