In Myth:
The Calopus or Chatloup was described as a wolf with horns, most often those of a goat. It usually had spines traveling its back. In heraldry, it also had the face of a cat, and sometimes cloven hooves.
The spikes are said to be able to cut down trees and the such. However, they are prone to becoming tangled in shrubbery, thus allowing it to be captured.
