The Calopus or Chatloup was described as a wolf with horns, most often those of a goat. It usually had spines traveling its back. In heraldry, it also had the face of a cat, and sometimes cloven hooves. ![]() The spikes are said to be able to cut down trees and the such. However, they are prone to becoming tangled in shrubbery, thus allowing it to be captured.
