In Myth:
Long ago in Cretian folklore, Anaskelades was a donkey that traveled lonely roads. It would entice weary travelers to ride it (a common motif, always followed by mischief) and then begin to grow. Soon, it would be as large as the surrounding moutains, and throw its unlucky passenger to the ground.
Later, the tales stated that the Anaskelades appeared as a bobbin -- a spool of thread -- from a distance, lying in the middle of the road. When one became close enough, the Anaskelades would transform into a monster and attack.

Future Development:
Two more forms are possible for Anaskelades. Its current picture would serve as the middle form, sandwiched between the youngest form -- a bobbin of thread -- and a eldest, monstrous form with the vague appearance of a shaggy donkey. Yes, some lucky future player has the fortune of fighting against a spool of thread... How epic that battle will be...
